Haben heute den Canyon mal schneller begangen als üblich. Waren in 2,25h Auto-Auto durch. Das ist aber schon ziemliches Limit und man muss sagen, dass wir es nal ausprobieren wollten was geht wenn man die Schlucht sehr gut kennt. Stände alles tip top, viele Sprünge machbar.
Walked the canyon faster than usual today. We were through in 2.25 hours by car. But that's quite a limit and you have to say that we wanted to try it out and see what happens if you know the canyon very well. Stands all tip top, many jumps doable.

Haben beim 2. 60er noch ein Seil für einen Umlenker angebracht. Ist standardmäßig von Pro Canyon so eingerichtet das or re. 2 klebehaken sind mit Seil, damit man nicht unbedingt ins Wasser seilen muss, obwohl das kein Problem darstellt. Alles nach wie vor tip top
Have attached a rope for a diverter to the 2nd 60. Pro Canyon's standard setup is that there are 2 glued anchors with rope on the right, so you don't necessarily have to rope into the water, although that's not a problem. Everything is still tip top

Guter Wasserstand, beim 2. Abseiler nach dem Zusammenfluss haben wir zur Sicherheit einen Treibanker verwendet, damit man bei dem Wasserstand nicht unten rein kommt

Wieder mal senstionell, aber sehr sportliches Wasser. Haben ca 3,5h Auto- Auto benötigt. Treibanker sollte man bei diesem Wasserstand mit dabei haben (siehe Fotos)
Once again sensational, but very sporty water. We needed about 3.5 hours car-car. You should have a floating anchor with you at this water level (see photos)

Sind den Rio Bianco heute begangen. Haben einige Ringe neu eingebohrt und alte Schlingen ausgetauscht. War sehr schön, sollte der Canyon nach längeren Regenzeiten begangen werden weil er sonst trocken ist.
Went up the Rio Bianco today. Drilled some new rings and replaced old slings. It was very nice, the canyon should be climbed after long periods of rain because otherwise it is dry.

Sind den Canyon heute begangen. Habe die Beschreibung leicht angepasst und Koordinaten der Parkplätze hinzugefügt. Beschreibung passt jedoch sehr gut. Brusnik ist eng mit Schichtkalk jedoch sind im Wasser viele Trübstoffe. Trotzdem interessant und geologisch schön. Die Hakenqualität ist mäßig und man sollte ein Notborset dabei haben. Sobald man in die Rocica kommt wird die Wasserqualität schlagartig besser mit sehr schönen Einzelstellen mit ein paar Sprüngen und Abseilern und dem Highlight - dem 60m Wasserfall in das Tiefblaue becken. Standqualität in der Rocica ist wesentlich besser als im Brusnik. Angeblich soll oberhalb der Mündung vom Brusnik bis auf ein Abseiler (möglicherweise Sprung) nichts drinnen sein. Es müsste aber die Möglichkeit geben kurz vor der Einmündung des Brusnik in die Rocica or. re. der Via Ferrata aufzusteigen und dann in die Rocica einzusteigen, kurz vor der schönen Einzelstelle (haben wir nicht gemacht, sondern ich habs mir danach auf der Karte angesehen)
Walked the canyon today. I have slightly adapted the description and added the coordinates of the parking lots. Description fits very well. Brusnik is narrow with layered limestone but there is a lot of turbidity in the water. Nevertheless interesting and geologically beautiful. The hook quality is moderate and you should have an emergency bait set with you. As soon as you get into the Rocica, the water quality suddenly improves with very nice individual spots with a few jumps and rappels and the highlight - the 60m waterfall into the deep blue basin. The quality of the water in the Rocica is much better than in the Brusnik. Allegedly there is nothing above the mouth of the Brusnik except for a rappel (possibly a jump). But there should be the possibility to climb up just before the Brusnik joins the Rocica ortographic right of the Via Ferrata and then enter the Rocica just before the beautiful single pitch (we didn't do this, but I looked at it on the map afterwards).

Alle Stände sind nach den Hochwässern im Herbst tip top. Im Tralba war alles was man springen will springbar. Scheinbar haben die Herbst-Hochwässer den Alba doch mehr "umgegraben". Momentan sind kein Sprung im unteren Alba-Teil (nachdem man vom Tralba in den Alba kommt) machbar, weil alles voll mit Kies ist.
All the stands are tip top after the floods in the fall. In the Tralba, everything you want to jump was jumpable. Apparently the fall floods have "dug up" the Alba more. At the moment it is not possible to jump in the lower part of the Alba (after you come into the Alba from the Tralba) because everything is full of gravel.

Volarja wird der Bach nach Zusammenfluss von Brinta und Malenscek genannt. Schöne aber fordernde Tour (Abseiler direkt im Wasser, Schwieriges Abseilen beim 100m Wasserfall). Wir haben beim 70m Abseiler 2 neue Ringe eingebohrt. Die Eintragung dieses Canyons wurde auf Basis dieser Begehung gemacht. Der andere Volarja-Eintrag bezieht sich auf den Start über Malenscek.
The stream is called Volarja after the confluence of the Brinta and Malenscek rivers. Beautiful but challenging tour (rappel directly in the water, difficult rappel at the 100m waterfall). We drilled 2 new rings at the 70m rappel. The entry for this canyon was made on the basis of this ascent. The other Volarja entry refers to the start via Malenscek.

Alle Stände ok. Nach den Überschwemmungen in Oktober und November sind beide Canyons (Chiantone und Vinadia) sehr schön weiß poliert. Im Chiantone hatten wir 2 tote Tiere, die aber auf Grund der tiefen Temperaturen kein Problem darstellten. Ansonsten ist der Chiantone ausnahmsweise mal relativ sauber, dank der hohen Wasserstände in Friaul im Oktober und November. Wir waren zu 2. genau 4 Stunden im Canyon. Gerade bei den Temperaturen (Einstieg hatten wir -2 °C), nicht zu unterschätzen, weil kein Licht in den Chiantone fällt und auch die Vinadia im engen Teil ohne sonne ist und somit sollte man sich gut einpacken ;-)
All stands ok. After the floods in October and November, both canyons (Chiantone and Vinadia) are beautifully polished white. We had 2 dead animals in the Chiantone, but these were not a problem due to the low temperatures. Otherwise, the Chiantone is relatively clean for once, thanks to the high water levels in Friuli in October and November. Two of us spent exactly 4 hours in the canyon. Especially with the temperatures (we had -2 °C at the start), not to be underestimated, because no light falls into the Chiantone and the Vinadia in the narrow part is also without sun and so you should wrap up well ;-)

Auch nach den massiven Hochwässern der vergangenen Wochen in tadellosem zustand. Einige Becken sind zugekiest, dafür ist alles blitzweiß und super griffig.
In perfect condition even after the massive floods of the past few weeks. Some pools are covered in gravel, but everything is sparkling white and super grippy.

Sehr schöne schlucht, durch die südausrichtung wunderbar im herbst, aber unbedingt nach regenfällen gehen. Unten beim Parkplatz bei der tankstelle kann der wasserstand geprüft werden.
Very beautiful gorge, wonderful in the fall due to the southern exposure, but be sure to go after rainfall. You can check the water level down by the parking lot at the filling station.

Es konnte bei unserer Begehung alles gespungen werden. In Summe haben wir 2:10 Auto-Auto benötigt. Wir haben oben beim Sportplatz geparkt und sind wieder zurück gegangen (35 min). In der Schlucht kommt man ca. 200m nach dem Ende der 2. Engstelle zu einem großen Stein mit einem Pfeil drauf (Siehe Foto). Danach führt der klar ersichtliche Pfad or. li. raus.
It was possible to spit everything during our walk. In total we have needed 2:10 car-car. We parked at the top of the sports field and walked back (35 min). In the gorge, about 200m after the end of the 2nd narrows, you come to a large stone with an arrow on it (See photo). After that, the clearly visible path or. left leads out.

Alle Stände ok, beim letzten Abseiler vor dem Blockchaos haben wir einen Baum genommen, weil wir keinen Stand gefunden haben. Durchaus schöne Tour mit einer kleinen Engklamm zwischen drin. Sehr gut kombinierbar mit Stuet, Cirosolin, Col del Pes
All stands ok, on the last rappel before the block chaos we took a tree because we have not found a stand. Quite nice tour with a small narrow gorge between them. Very well combinable with Stuet, Cirosolin, Col del Pes

Auch der obere Teil ist durchaus lustig mit 2 Sprüngen und ein paar Abseilern. Außerdem ist es interessant wie sich der Charakter der Schlucht verändert. Oben die offene Waldschlucht und dann zunehmend eng eingeschnitten. Stände in perfekten Zustand. Wir waren ein gutes Team und waren 2,75h Auto-Auto unterwegs.
The upper part is also quite fun with 2 jumps and a few rappels. In addition, it is interesting how the character of the gorge changes. Above the open forest canyon and then increasingly narrow cut. Stands in perfect condition. We were a good team and were 2.75h car-car.

Sehr schöner Canyon, gut kombinierbar mit Col del Pes und Cirosolin. Alle Stände in perfekten Zustand. Geologisch sehr interessant wegen der schönen Kalksteinschichtungen. Aber auch so ein must-do. Teilweise sehr eng eingeschnitten und schöne Passagen. Wir waren ein sehr gutes Team und waren in 1,5h Auto-Auto durch.
Very beautiful canyon, well combined with Col del Pes and Cirosolin. All the stands in perfect condition. Geologically very interesting because of the beautiful limestone strata. But also such a must-do. Partly very narrow cut and beautiful passages. We were a very good team and were in 1.5h car-car through.

Ausstiegsbeschreibung auf tatsächliche Gegenbenheiten angepasst (Zeitangaben waren nicht korrekt). Meine Empfehlung im Bachbett bleiben, man hat 5 min länger zu gehen, dafür nicht bergauf im Gebüsch. Einziger Nachteil ist, dass man um ca 10min länger shutteln muss. Haben beim 40m Abseiler unten einen Ring eingebohrt um eine Seilbahn bauen zu können (der alte war weg). Ansonsten alles Tiptop. Fotos hinzugefügt vom ersten Abseiler bezüglich Wasserstandskontrolle. Hier war die Begehung ok, nur beim 40m-Abseiler haben wir für nicht so erfahrene die Seilbahn aufgebaut, weil doch viel Wasserdruck während das Abseilens war.
Exit description adapted to actual Gegenbenheiten (time information was not correct). My recommendation to stay in the creek bed, you have 5 min longer to go, but not uphill in the bushes. The only disadvantage is that you have to shutteln about 10min longer. Have drilled at the 40m rappel below a ring to be able to build a cable car (the old one was gone). Otherwise everything Tiptop. Photos added of the first rappel regarding water level control. Here the walk was ok, only at the 40m rappel we have built the ropeway for not so experienced, because but much water pressure was during the abseiling.

Oberster Abseiler ist der Bohrhaken schon relativ locker. Leider hatte ich keine Bohrmaschine mit. D.h. der oberste Abseiler sollte mal erneuert werden. Ansonsten alles tip top. Waren in 6:15 Auto-Auto durch mit pause superiore+inferiore.

Wurde von uns begangen und renoviert. Der Weg zum Sfonderat ist wenn man den 640er Weg verlässt sehr rutschig durch das Buchenlaub und durchaus ausgesetzt (siehe Bilder). Der Pfad führt nicht mehr direkt in den Bach, sondern man geht bis man praktisch bei der Schlucht ist, hier kommt eine Quelle or. re. rein. Hier vom Baum ca 40m in die Schucht abseilen. Zuerst ist es trocken, aber nach ca 150m kommt Wasser dazu. Einige Sprünge, eine ca 8m Rutsche. Einige Abseiler Absolut schöner Canyon
Was walked and renovated by us. The path to Sfonderat is when you leave the 640 path very slippery through the beech leaves and quite exposed (see pictures). The path no longer leads directly into the stream, but you go until you are practically at the gorge, here comes a spring or. r. pure. Rappel down from the tree about 40m into the gorge. At first it is dry, but after about 150m water comes in. Some jumps, a slide of about 8m. Some rappels Absolutely beautiful canyon

Wurde von uns Begangen und renoviert. Schöne Schlucht mit ein paar Gehpassagen. Der Anfangsteil der Livinal ist besonders cool weil eng eingeschnitten. Dann wird es zu einer schönen offenen Schlucht mit ein paar Gehpassagen.
Was walked by us and renovated. Beautiful gorge with a few walking passages. The initial part of the Livinal is particularly cool because narrow cut. Then it becomes a beautiful open canyon with a few walking passages.

Haben wie wir in die Schlucht gekommen sind keinen Haken gefunden und einen Ring or. re gesetzt. Der obere Teil hat sehr gute Stände (innox Kettenstände) unterer Teil hat teilweise alte Seile drin. Seilreststücke und Borset mitnehmen!

Der Zustieg ist nichts für schwache Nerven. Teilweise ist er gut versichert aber hin und wieder ist man mitten im Absturzgelände ohne Versicherung. Auf Grund von diversen Rutschungen ist die Wegfindung teilweise auch nicht einfach.
The approach is not for the faint of heart. Partly it is well secured but every now and then you are in the middle of the fall terrain without insurance. Due to various landslides, finding the way is also not easy.
