Von der A23 Autobahnabfahrt Carnia/Tolmezzo Richtung Tolmezzo, beim Kreisverkehr von Tolmezzo Richtung Verzegnis und über den Sella Chianzutan ins obere Arzinotal bis San Francesco und weiter Richtung Pielungo. Unterer Parkplatz: Gleich nach der Brücke über den Arzino rechts auf eine Sandstrasse wechseln, der man bis zur Brücke über den Rio D'Agaviva folgt. Oberer Parkplatz: Der Strasse nach Pielungo folgen - am Ende der Ortschaft rechts Richtung 'Castello Ceconi' abzweigen. Vorm Picknickplatz parken.

From the A23 highway exit Carnia/Tolmezzo direction Tolmezzo, at the traffic circle of Tolmezzo direction Verzegnis and over the Sella Chianzutan into the upper Arzino valley to San Francesco and on towards Pielungo. Lower parking lot: Immediately after the bridge over the Arzino, turn right onto a sand road and follow it to the bridge over the Rio D'Agaviva. Upper parking lot: Follow the road to Pielungo - at the exit of the village turn right towards 'Castello Ceconi'. Park in front of the picnic area.

Zum Picknickpark und kurz nach rechts über einen trockenen Seitenbach, Dem alten Steig nach oben folgen, unten ist er noch mit Bäumen verlegt, wird aber bald sichtbarer. Bei einer Abzweigung nach links zum Einstieg der Tour

To the picnic park and briefly to the right over a dry side stream, follow the old path upwards, at the bottom it is still covered with trees, but soon becomes more visible. At a fork turn left to the entry point of the tour

Oberer Teil: Kommerziell geführt. Abseiler, Rutschen und Sprünge in enger aber schön ausgewaschener Miniklamm. Abseiler bis 5m. Unterer Teil: Kleine Sprungstelle noch unter der Brücke, danach ein erster 4m Abseiler (Klebehaken rechts). Nach kurzer Gehstrecke folgt eine erste Engklamm mit 12m Einstiegswasserfall (Baum rechts). Danach wieder eine Gehstrecke, bevor man eine längere Klamm mit einigen engen Windungen erreicht (keine Sicherungen, Sprünge, Rutschen und Abkletterpassagen). Die Klamm endet mit einem engen 12m Wasserfall in ein längeres Schwimmbecken (Spit links). Danach nur noch Gehstrecke bis zur Mündung in den Arzino.

Upper part: Commercially guided. Rappels, slides and jumps in narrow but beautifully washed-out mini-gorge. Rappels up to 5m. Lower part: Small jump still under the bridge, then a first 4m rappel (glued anchors on the right). After a short walking passages follows a first gorge with a 12m waterfall (tree on the right). Then another walking passages before you reach a longer gorge with some tight turns (no belays, jumps, slides and downclimb passages). The gorge exits with a narrow 12m waterfall into a longer pool (spit on the left). Then it's just walking passages to the mouth of the Arzino.

Durch das Bachbett bis zur Mündung in den Arzino. Man kann auch versuchen rechts aus der Schlucht hinauszuwandern um die in der Karte eingezeichnete Strasse zu erreichen bzw. direkt in den Rio Carlo Gasparini zu wechseln.

Through the streambed to the mouth of the Arzino. You can also try to go out of the canyon to the right to reach the road indicated on the map or to go directly into the Rio Carlo Gasparini.
