Canyoning Database

Welcome to OpenCanyon.org

A Canyoning Database is being created here as a successor to the databases on Cwiki and ACA.

We are not perfect yet, but we are actively updating and building. We are happy to receive feedback on the current state of the database. Please register via the menu in the top right-hand corner and you can get started right away.

There is currently a 🗺 Map, a canyon 🕮 List, canyons 📍 Nearby and the 🌞 Community / Help area.

We need help maintaining the raw data from Cwiki/ACA, updating the canyons and support with development (Laravel/Livewire/Filament/Alpine). Contact us via your existing canyoning network or directly via Slack or Contact Form.

Cool canyon, narrow in places. Tour made with top water level. Very well set up. Partly blocked but easy to get through. Access via hiking trail, best to ask nicely at the ticket office then it's no problem.

Super nice canyon. Defenetly worth it, also the lower more open part is nice. Maybe there are some anchors missing, but you can downclimb but it would be nice to have them.

This canyon felt a bit overrated to me, not as charming as many comments suggest. R4 and R7 can be skipped easily, and R12 also tempts so but here it is not recommended for pulling down from R11 is quite a struggle. R13 is bomb-proof now.
