Leider richtig viele und eklige Kadaver im Chiantone. Schafe, Kühe, Schwein und Reh geben sich momentan ein Stelldichein.... Ansonsten war der Canyon top wenn es einen bei so viel totem Getier nicht ekelt 😉 Alle Stände sind tip top

Unfortunately, there are a lot of disgusting carcasses in Chiantone. Sheep, cows, pigs and deer are currently having a rendezvous.... Otherwise the canyon was great if you're not disgusted by so many dead animals 😉 All the stalls are tip top

Beim Zustieg und in der Schlucht keine Grödel nötig. Etwas Eis beim höchsten Abseiler. Leiderwieder mehr Holz in der Schlucht.

Echt richtig schön in diesem Jahr weil sie vom Kraftwerk das Wasser rein lassen. Teilweise durchaus sportlicher Wasserstand und tendenziell nichts für Anfänger. Alle Stände tip top

Really nice this year because they let the water in from the power station. Some of the water levels are quite sporty and tend not to be for beginners. All stands tip top

Impressive in winter too! There is currently a lot of snow and ice in the canyon. Anchors therefore sometimes difficult to find.

Nach Wadi Hatt noch rangehängt. Super kombinierbar. Alles ok. Paar Sprünge auch bei dem Niedrigwasser möglich aber genau schaun da das Wasser teilweise trüb war, durch kommerziell Geführte Touren. Wir waren zwar allein unterwegs aber beim Austieg hat man gesehen das viele im Canyon unterwegs sind.

After Wadi Hatt still attached. Superiore combinable. Everything ok. A few jumps possible even at low water, but look carefully as the water was partly cloudy due to commercially guided tours. We were on our own but on the way out you could see that there were many people in the canyon.

Haben beim Snake Canyon Ausstieg geparkt und uns von einem Local zum Einstieg des Wadi Hatt (Seer) bringen lassen. Tolle Abseilerbund Grotte, wenig Wasser aber die meisten Pools hatten noch glares Wasser. Der Local hat uns auch darauf hingewiesen das man die Schlucht nicht ganz bis zum Wadi gehen sollte sondern nach der Grotte wenn die Schlucht sich öffnet wieder zur Straße auszusteigen und nicht die letzten Meter im Bach runter geht weil man sonst den Anwohnern dort das Wasser dreckig macht. Dann über die Straße 5min runtergelaufen bis zum Snake Einstieg und den rangehängt.

We parked at the Snake Canyon exit and had a local take us to the entry of Wadi Hatt (Seer). Great abseiling grotto, little water but most of the pools still had clear water. The local also pointed out that you shouldn't go all the way down the canyon to the wadi but should get out again after the canyon when it opens up to the road and not go down the last few meters in the stream because otherwise you would make the water dirty for the residents there. Then walk down the road for 5 minutes to the Snake entry and hang on to it.

Deutlich weniger Eis und Schnee, dafür mehr Wasser als letzte Woche. Aktuell braucht es keine grödel/steigeisen für zustieg oder gar im canyon

Ziemlich vereist, superschön, für den letzten teil des zustiegs grödeln oder steigeisen sehr sinnvoll. Alle Haken vorhanden.

Als Relaxtag den Wadi begangen. Geht gut ohne Ausrüstung, Schwimmsachen wären optimal da man ab und zu mal Schwimmen muss. Es gibt mehrere Wege rechts, mittig, links, mit Steinmännchen roten oder blauen Punkten markiert. Bei den Wasserfällen hängen Fixseile zum raufklettern. Wenn man Blockkletterei mag mit bisschen Abkühlung oder ohne viel Ausrüstung los will ne schöne Ausflugstour. Eher kein richtiges Canyoning.

Walked the wadi as a relaxation day. You can do it without equipment, swimming gear would be ideal as you have to swim from time to time. There are several paths on the right, in the middle and on the left, marked with red or blue cairns. There are fixed ropes to climb up at the waterfalls. If you like block climbing with a bit of cooling off or want to go without much equipment, this is a nice excursion. Rather not real canyoning.
