Letzter Urlaubscanyon am Weg zum Flughafen. Rio Cajigar war ganz nett ,..der Rest nicht. Haben den "guten" Zustieg via Secco nicht gefunden , bzw geht sich das in 15 min nie aus. (Gebüsch , Dornen ,kein Wasser ...alles was man nicht will) Eventuell andere Variante mit shutteln von unten (siehe decente Beschreibung ) versuchen. Direkt von Tolva in den Cajigar scheint möglich und empfehlenswert - den Secco "links liegen lassen"
Last vacation canyon on the way to the airport. Rio Cajigar was quite nice, but not the rest. Didn't find the "good" access via Secco, or rather it's never possible in 15 minutes. (Bushes, thorns, no water ... everything you don't want) Possibly try another variant with shuttling from below (see decente description). Directly from Tolva into the Cajigar seems possible and recommendable - leave the Secco "on the left"

Alles tip top. Aktuell etwas mehr Wasser. Viele Sprünge möglich, teilweise wiederholbar. Achtung auf versteckte Siphone bzw. gut schauen, bevor man wo reingeht. Mit etwas Erfahrung alles kein Problem. Tolle Einzelstellen, aber auch viel zu gehen. Wer hier eine klassische Canyoningtour erwartet, wird wohl enttäuscht sein. Wir sind bei der Steinbrücke ausgestiegen.
Everything is tip top. Currently a little more water. Many jumps possible, some repeatable. Watch out for hidden siphons or look carefully before you go in. No problem with a little experience. Great individual sections, but also a lot of walking. Anyone expecting a classic canyoning tour here will probably be disappointed. We got out at the stone bridge.

Zu dieser Jahreszeit praktisch keine Sonne in der Schlucht; daher viel Eis bzw mit einen Eisfilm überzogene Steine ,...da ist das bissi rutschig schon das kleiner Übel. Wegen der andauernten "Rutschgefahr" anstrengend ,..hat aber wiedermal Spaß gemacht
At this time of year practically no sun in the canyon; therefore a lot of ice or stones covered with an ice film,...so the bit slippery is already the lesser evil. Because of the constant "danger of slipping" it was exhausting, but once again it was fun

Alles ok. Schöner Wasserstand. Einige ältere Haken und Schlingen könnte man in nächster Zeit ersetzen. Paar etwas höhere Stellen zum abklettern. Aber gut machbar. Teilweise so eng, dass der Rucksack runtergenommen werden muss. Wahnsinns Canyon unter der Eiger Nordwand.
Everything ok. Nice water level. Some older anchors and slings could be replaced in the near future. A few slightly higher places to downclimb. But easily doable. Sometimes so narrow that you have to take your rucksack off. Insane canyon under the north face of the Eiger.

Alles wieder tip top. Wir haben beim Ausstieg ein neues 180 m Seil eingebaut. Jetzt unbedingt das weiße Seil und nicht das schwarze Seil verwenden. Wir haben auch einige neue Haken gesetzt. Unglaubliche Schlucht unter Eiger/Jungfrau/Mönch.
Everything is tip top again. We installed a new 180 m rope at the exit. Now be sure to use the white rope and not the black rope. We also put in some new anchors. Incredible canyon below Eiger/Jungfrau/Mönch.

Den Zustieg mit der Gondel abgekürzt (ab Bergstation 65min bis zum Einstieg) Der obere Teil ist nett , der untere definitiv um einiges besser , wasserreicher , schöner,... Haken soweit ok (beim ersten C40 war der mögliche Umsteiger nach 10m locker -wir haben ihn ausgelassen)
Shortened the access with the gondola (from the mountain station 65min to the entry) The upper part is nice, the lower part is definitely much better, watery, more beautiful,... Anchors ok so far (on the first C40 the possible transfer was loose after 10m - we skipped it)

Heute zuerstenmal "ganz rauf" gegangen , nicht beim 30er eingestiegen: Der obere Teil wäre sehr nett , leider halt viel Holz und mässig eingerichten; tw dünne Schnüre um Bäume, usw , einen Schlaghaken haben wir gesetzt. Oberer Teil sollte in 45-50 min machbar sein. Unterer Teil toll wie immer ,- wären nicht da und dort Holzverklausungen wäre es ein TOP Canyon ; durch in gut 2std zu zweit. Danach noch natürlich den Ackersbach angehängt Sollte jemand eine Garmin Uhr finden (eher im unteren Teil bzw bei Ausstieg) -- bitte um Kontataufnahme 0699 17444222 - Danke hat mein Freund verloren.
Went "all the way up" for the first time today, didn't get on at 30: The upper part would be very nice, unfortunately just a lot of wood and moderately equipped; tw thin cords around trees, etc, we have set a piton. The upper part should be doable in 45-50 minutes. The lower part is great as always - if there weren't some wood obstructions it would be a TOP canyon; we could do it in a good 2 hours. Afterwards, of course, the Ackersbach was added Should anyone find a Garmin watch (rather in the lower part or at the exit) -- please contact 0699 17444222 - thanks, my friend has lost it.

Haben auch den oberen Teil begangen und dort ein paar Haken renoviert. Kennen die Schlucht sehr gut, deswegen sind wir bei dem Wasserstand rein. Ist aber nur für Personen empfehlenswert mit einiges an Erfahrung bei dem Wasser.

Zum erstenmal auch den oberen Teil begangen und sicher nicht zum letzten mal. Wir haben bei den alten Einzelhaken immer einen zweiten dazugebohrt. Den Zwischenstand beim c55 könnten man bei Niedrigwasser mal verbessern. Wir hatten hohen Wasserstand und da war es echt lohnend die 15min raufzugehen.
This is the first time we have climbed the upper part and certainly not the last. We always added a second bolt to the old single hooks. The intermediate level at c55 could be improved at low water. We had a high water level and it was really worthwhile to walk up the 15 minutes.

Sind den canyon heute begangen. Generell ist in der ganzen Gegend momentan richtig viel Wasser. Der Bianco ist aber überhaupt kein Problem. Ganz im Gegenteil, genau wenn viel Wasser ist passt das für den Rio Bianco sehr gut. Die nächsten Besucher sollten Rapid Glieder und Schlingenmaterial mitnehmen. Es sind viele Schlingen ohne Rapid Glieder und einige Schlingen gehören erneuert.
Walked the canyon today. There's generally a lot of water in the whole area at the moment. But the Bianco is not a problem at all. On the contrary, when there is a lot of water, the Rio Bianco is just right. The next visitors should take rapid limbs and sling material with them. There are many slings without rapid links and some of them need to be replaced.

Die Zufahrtsstraße hat zwar ein Fahrverbotsschild dennoch kann man gut bis zurückfahren. das ist auch empfehlenswert weil es sehr weit hineingeht. Man sollte jedoch ein Auto mit einem hohen Radstand haben weil die Spuren sehr tief sind. Der Weg am Anfang ist nur schwer ersichtlich wegen viel Bäumen die noch herumliegen. Die Tour selbst fängt nett an und entwickelt sich wirklich extrem schön. Vor allem wenn die unterirdische Quelle reinkommt die das Wasser merklich abkühlt. Geologisch ist die Tour ebenfalls sehr empfehlenswert. Rundum eine schöne Tour die sehr empfehlenswert ist mit klarem Wasser.
Although the access road has a no-driving sign, you can still drive all the way back. This is also recommended because it goes very far in. However, you should have a car with a high wheelbase because the tracks are very deep. The path at the beginning is difficult to see because there are still a lot of trees lying around. The tour itself starts off nicely and develops really beautifully. Especially when the underground spring comes in and cools the water down considerably. Geologically, the tour is also highly recommended. All in all, a beautiful tour that is highly recommended with clear water.

Von unten zeigte sich guter Wasserdurchsatz, ... ein guter Zeitpunkt um hier mal durchzugehen Den ersten und dritten Längeren Absatz haben wir durchgeseilt. Beim zweiten haben wir den Zwischenstand nach ca 30m verwendet. Stände soweit ok, die nicht genützten Zwischenstände konnten wir halt nur optisch beurteilen. Eine gute Wahl heute
There was good water flow from below, ... a good time to go through here We roped through the first and third longer ledges. On the second we used the intermediate belay after about 30m. Stands so far ok, the unused intermediate stands we could only judge visually. A good choice today

Zum Dritten mal hier. Ich finde die Tour ideal an einem sonnigen Frühjahrestag (oder nach viel Regen).Zustieg ist nicht so das Thema; irgendwie/wo treffen sich alle Pfade immer wieder > einfach in Richtung oben ;-) Stände soweit alle OK; den dritten Stand (ca.25M) könnte man mal erneuern falls wer eine Bohrmaschine mit hat (4 Haken , einer wackelt, alle mit alten Bändern verbunden). Heute sogar 2-3 Sprünge möglich
Here for the third time. I find the tour ideal on a sunny spring day (or after a lot of rain); access is not such an issue; somehow/where all paths meet again and again > just head upwards ;-) Stands so far all OK; the third stand (about 25M) could be renewed if someone has a drill with him (4 anchors, one wobbles, all connected with old tapes). Today even 2-3 jumps possible

Haben beim 2. 60er noch ein Seil für einen Umlenker angebracht. Ist standardmäßig von Pro Canyon so eingerichtet das or re. 2 klebehaken sind mit Seil, damit man nicht unbedingt ins Wasser seilen muss, obwohl das kein Problem darstellt. Alles nach wie vor tip top
Have attached a rope for a diverter to the 2nd 60. Pro Canyon's standard setup is that there are 2 glued anchors with rope on the right, so you don't necessarily have to rope into the water, although that's not a problem. Everything is still tip top

Aktuell sehr viel Wasser in der Schlucht ; war aber alles noch gut zu bewältigen. Da auch im oberen Teil schon sehr viel Wasser war nehme ich an das der "Damm" bei der Ableitung zum Speichersee "geöffnet " oder beschädigt ist.
Currently a lot of water in the canyon; but everything was still manageable. Since there was already a lot of water in the upper part, I assume that the "dam" at the drainage to the reservoir is "open" or damaged.

Leider wieder viel rutschiger als bei diversen Begehungen letztes Jahr. Stände soweit Ok ; der Baum in der Engstelle machte dieses mal Probleme beim Abziehen ; es empfiehlt sich den Haken rechts am Ende für die letzten 3 m zu verwenden (dann kann man theoretisch wieder hochklettern und das Seil vom Baum lösen)
Unfortunately again much more slippery than on various ascents last year. Stands ok so far; the tree in the narrow section caused problems this time when pulling off; it is recommended to use the anchor on the right at the exit for the last 3 m (then you can theoretically climb up again and release the rope from the tree).

Zur Zeit viel Wasser und sehr kalt. Schlucht an sich sehr schön. Bohrhaken könnten besser sein, aber noch ok. Es empfiehlt sich, vor dem Schlussteil oro rechts zur Lumiei aufzusteigen. Alle Sprünge machbar.
Lots of water at the moment and very cold. The canyon itself is very beautiful. Bolts could be better, but still ok. It is recommended to climb up to Lumiei on the right before the final ortographic section. All jumps are doable.

Sun, blue skies and almost 30° but still very cold water; a little more so thanks to the meltwater. At lower jumps, the pools are a bit gravel-covered but can be done well with the necessary caution

The access path is difficult to find due to fallen trees in the last 5 minutes, hopefully there will soon be a path down to the stream again. Otherwise everything is OK; there is no new "wood" in the gorge itself

Für den Zustieg kann man grob OSM folgen , wobei sich derzeit die Steigspuren optimiert haben und direkt zur Abzweigung vom 424 führen. Durch die heftigen Regenfälle im Oktober fanden wir eine super durchgeputzte Schlucht vor; Wasser war auch noch ausreichend vorhanden. Für mich gibt es absolut keinen Grund beim Weg 424 auszusteigen und runter zu wandern. Es folgen noch 4 gut eingerichtet nette Abseiler. Die Stände haben das Hochwasser gut überstanden. Unsere Zeiten gemütlich 2 Personen. Zustieg 50min ; Canyon ganz runter 1h50min
For the approach you can roughly follow OSM, whereby the climbing tracks have currently been optimized and lead directly to the junction of the 424. Due to the heavy rainfall in October, we found a super clean gorge; there was also plenty of water. For me, there is absolutely no reason to get off trail 424 and hike down. This is followed by 4 well-equipped, nice abseils. The stands have survived the flood well. Our times are comfortable for 2 people. Approach 50min ; Canyon all the way down 1h50min

Made the most of the midday and NM sunshine and whizzed through the Pissanda. Thanks to the heavy October rain, it's practically not slippery at the moment. There is now a large tree in the middle of the gorge at the narrow section which could possibly cause problems when pulling off the rope; otherwise everything is OK

Den "schöneren" Tag zwischen Regentagen genützt um den Grabenbach mal wieder mit mehr Wasser zu versuchen. Ausgerüstet mit guter Kenntnis des Canyons, Treibanker usw war es anspruchsvoll aber hat auch sehr viel Spaß gemacht.
Used the "nicer" day between rainy days to try the Grabenbach again with more water. Equipped with good knowledge of the canyon, floating anchors etc. it was challenging but also a lot of fun.

Wir sind wie auch letztes Jahr vor der 30m Kaskade eingestiegen. Tolle Tour; alle Stände ok , Verklausung hält sich in Grenzen, gegen Enden hin zunehmend rutschiger. Dann den Ackersbach angehängt. Empfehlenswerte Kombi. Zustieg von Ende Ackersbach bis Einstieg vor der 30er Kaskade ca 40min Gerbach dann ca 2h10min
With the bike to the exit Ackersbach cycled (comfortable about 25min) Then back to Forststr and the normally described approach chosen. We are like last year before the 30m cascade entered. Great tour; all stands ok, Verklausung keeps within limits, towards the ends increasingly slippery. Then the Ackersbach attached. Recommended combination. Approach from the end of Ackersbach to entry before the 30er cascade about 40min Gerbach then about 2h10min

Der Grabenbach präsentierte sich heute in sehr netten Zustand; zwar eher wenig Wasser , dieses dafür klar und die Gumpen gut gespühlt das man fast überall (wo man will) auch springen kann. Fast gar nicht rutschig machte es viel Spaß (erst gegen Ende zu würde es mehr und mehr rutschig). Eigentlich wollten wir beim Doppler einsteigen, haben uns aber beim Anmarsch vertratscht und dann waren wir auch schon oben bei der kleinen unscheinbaren Brücke. Speziell der obere Teil war so gut wie nicht rutschig und machte (überraschenderweise) viel Spaß. Gut eingerichtet , teilweise mit Fixseilen.
The Grabenbach presented itself today in very nice condition; although rather little water, this for it clear and the pools well flushed that you can jump almost everywhere (where you want). Almost not at all slippery it made a lot of fun (only towards the end it would be more and more slippery). Actually we wanted to get in at the Doppler, but we got lost on the approach and then we were already up at the small inconspicuous bridge. Especially the upper part was as good as not slippery and made (surprisingly) a lot of fun. Well set up , partly with fixed ropes.

Obwohl im restlichen Friaul auf Grund 2-3 Regentagen zuvor doch eher viel Wasser war ,...fanden wir hier eher niedrig Wasser vor. Gespühlt wars trotzdem gut , also wenig bis kein Müll und auch griffig im oberen Teil. Überraschend war dann die Vinadia ,...die hab ich noch nie mit soooo wenig Wasser gesehen ; "fast trocken"; und halt leider auch sehr rutschig. Stände waren soweit alle OK, obwohl ich finde in der Vinadia könnte man noch 2-3 ergänzen , speziell wenn rutschig und wenig gibts da ein paar unangenehme Abkletterstellen
Although in the rest of Friuli due to 2-3 rainy days before but rather much water was,...we found here rather low water. Gespühlt was still good, so little to no garbage and also grippy in the upper part. Surprising was then the Vinadia,...I've never seen with soooo little water; "almost dry"; and just unfortunately also very slippery. Stands were so far all OK, although I think in the Vinadia you could still add 2-3, especially if slippery and little gibts there a few unpleasant Abkletterstellen

Eine Tour wenn es sehr heiß ist bzw man die anderen Schluchten hier schon kennt. Die Stände sind soweit noch OK nur öfters schlecht angebracht bzw alt. Wir hatten 2-3 Abziehprobleme. Stirnlampe mitnehmen und den alten Stollen anschauen (der erste am Anfang linksseitig ist sehr kurz und kann man auslasen - der 2ten rechtsseitig ist empfehlenswert.
A tour when it is very hot or you already know the other gorges here. The stands are so far still OK but often badly attached or old. We had 2-3 pull-off problems. Take a headlamp and look at the old galleries (the first at the beginning on the left side is very short and can be read out - the 2nd on the right side is recommended.

Sehr nette sehr kurze Tour. Rutschen Springen,..alles da ,..Seilstopfen braucht man meist gar nicht weils eh gleich "weitergeht"....und wenn man will gleich im Neo nochmal 6-7 min wieder rauf und nochmal runter.
Very nice very short tour. Sliding jumping,...everything there,...Rope stopper you need mostly not at all because eils immediately "goes on"....and if you want equal in the Neo again 6-7 min up and down again.

Der Zustiegsweg wurde gerade "renoviert" . Netter schattiger Zustieg und die ganze Tour sehr nett (auch den Anfang find ich ganz ok)
The access path was just "renovated" . Nice shady approach and the whole tour very nice (even the beginning I find quite ok)

Wie üblich zu beginn etwas rutschig ; alle Stände soweit OK. Auch wieder etwas weniger Kies in den Pool. Im Alba dann wieder einen gute Wasserzunahme. Das Rausgehen ist auch kein Drama, nach den ersten paar Minuten rechts rauf zu einen Pfad da geht es dann schnell retour zum Ende
As usual at the beginning a bit slippery ; all stands so far OK. Also again a little less gravel in the pool. In the Alba then again a good water increase. The exit is also no drama, after the first few minutes right up to a path there it goes then quickly back to the end.

Wunderbares Wetter in einer wunderbaren Schlucht. Wieder etwas mehr zugekiest als im Mai, aber wenn man weis wo und wie ist "alles "springbar.
Wonderful weather in a wonderful canyon. Again a little more gravel than in May, but if you know where and how "everything" is jumpable.

Immer wieder absolut lohneswert hier rauf zu fahren um den "ganzen" Pontirone Canyon zu machen. Überraschenderweise überhaupt nicht rutschig. Fast alles springbar, einmal einen natürlichen Anker gesucht weil der Zustieg zum Baumabseiler rechts doch etwas gewagt auschaut Natürlich gleich noch den unteren Teil angehängt. So waren wir im 5er Team in 3h30min wieder beim Auto.
Always absolutely worth driving up here to do the "whole" Pontirone Canyon. Surprisingly not slippery at all. Almost everything jumpable, once looked for a natural anchor because the approach to the tree rappel on the right looks a bit daring. Of course, the lower part is still attached. So we were in 5 team in 3h30min back to the car.

Oberen und unteren Teil begangen ,... speziell oben SEHR rutschig. Im unteren Teil machen die Rutschen und Sprüngen das "Rutschmanko" wett.
Upper and lower part walked ,... especially above VERY slippery. In the lower part, the slides and jumps make up for the "slide deficit".

Beim Parkplatz oben ist (Stand anfang Juni 2023) gerade eine größere Baustellen. Parken NICHT möglich aber in den Kehren danach sollte man Platz finden. Alle Stände OK ; die schöne Stelle am Beginn unterter Teil wo man in einen nassen rutschigen Dom abseilt (90° Kurve des Bachs)ist meinen einen zustätzliche Stand 3 m weiter unten ausgestatt. Somit erspart man sich den schwer erreichbaren (rutschig; weit oben) Stand im Dom und kann gleich zum nächsten (in der Engstelle) abseilen > kein Abziehproblem Rest wie immer sehr nett !
At the parking lot above is (as of early June 2023) just a major construction site. Parking NOT possible but in the bends afterwards you should find space. All stands OK; the beautiful place at the beginning of the lower part where you abseil into a wet slippery dome (90° bend of the stream) is equipped with an additional stand 3 m further down. Thus, one saves the difficult to reach (slippery; far above) stand in the dome and can immediately abseil to the next (in the narrows) > no pulling problem Rest as always very nice !

Perfektes Wetter für diese tolle Schlucht, der bei einer Begehung vor ca 10 tagen fehlten Haken kann problemlos angekletter/abgerutscht werden. Ein paar Abkletterstellen wegen doch "gut Wasser" schwierig abzuklettern aber alles machbar.
Perfect weather for this great gorge, the hook missing during an ascent about 10 days ago can be climbed / slipped down without any problems. A few Abletterstellen because of yet "good water" difficult to climb off but all doable.

Zuerst in die Höhle; Einen Stand neu gebohrt , der Rest meist über Bäume oder einfache Stände. Der Standplatz zum letzten 60m Abseiler war ein guter Kettenstand weit links aussen (wir haben uns ein Seilgeländer gebaut)
First into the cave; one belay newly drilled, the rest mostly over trees or simple belays. The belaystation for the last 60m rappel was a good chain anchor far to the left (we built ourselves a rope traverse).
