Bei schönen und stabilen Wetter bzw. niedrigen Wasserstand ist die Corpassa sicherlich einer der schönsten und lohnenswertesten vertikalen Schluchten in den Dolomiten; sehr sauberes Wasser; heller ausgeschliffener Kalkfels; wunderbare Bergkulisse mit Tiefblick ins Tal; sehr kontinuierliche Schlucht; viele Abseiler im Wasserstrahl; nicht perfekt aber gut eingerichtet (meist zwei Haken, 10mm Inox + 8mm Bohrhaken); bis auf wenige Stellen sehr offene Tour; Notausstieg wenn überhaupt nur sehr schwer nach der ersten höheren Abseilstelle möglich (links rausklettern)?; meist zu gekieste flache Gumpen; Achtung Steinschlaggefahr durch Teilnehmer!); scharfe Kante bei 28m Stufe nach der höchsten Abseilstelle.

Von Belluno Richtung Agordo fahren. Von Agordo weiter Richtung Alleghe/Cencenighe/Cortina. In der kleinen Ortschaft Listolade rechts Richtung Val Copassa abbiegen (zum Teil sehr schmale Asphaltstraße). Der Bergstraße bis zum Rifugio Capanna folgen (großer Wanderparkplatz).

From Belluno drive in the direction of Agordo. From Agordo continue in the direction of Alleghe/Cencenighe/Cortina. In the small village of Listolade, turn right towards Val Copassa (very narrow asphalt road in places). Follow the mountain road to the Rifugio Capanna (large parking lot for hikers).

Vom großen Wanderparkplatz vor dem Rifugio „Capanna Triest (1135m) folgt man dem Wanderweg 555 (Forststraße). Nach ca. 15min. kann man links vom Wanderweg schon den letzten 20m Abseiler sehen (Wasserstandkontrolle!). Danach geht es auf der Forststraße weiter bergauf bis zu einer freien flachen Wiese. Hier gleich links absteigend trifft man in Kürze auf dem Bach. Einstieg auf 1600m.

From the large parking lot in front of the Rifugio "Capanna Triest (1135m), follow hiking trail 555 (forest road). After about 15 minutes you can already see the last 20m rappel to the left of the hiking trail (check the water level!). Then continue uphill on the forest road until you reach an open, flat meadow. Here, descending to the left, you soon reach the stream. Entry at 1600m.

Von Anfang bis Ende grandioser vertikaler Abseilcanyon ohne große Wegstrecken zwischen den Stufen. Wer vertikale Abseiltouren mag, wird sich in die Schlucht verlieben. Die meisten Abseilstellen sind gut einsehbar und mit etwas Geschick auch außerhalb des Wasserstrahls abseilbar. Es sind genügend Bohrhaken bzw. Laschen vorhanden um sicher zu den zum Teil exponierten Standplätzen zu kommen. Die höchste Abseilstelle (ca. 45m) in der Mitte der Schlucht, kann ohne Probleme (nur wenig Wasserkontakt) bewältigt werden. Danach kommt gleich eine sehr beeindruckende nicht einsehbare Abseilstelle. Diese Stelle sieht wilder aus als sie ist da man nur ein kurzes Stück am Anfang im Wasser und dann trocken im Überhang abseilt (28m). Hier sollte man jedoch wegen der scharfen Kante unbedingt seilschonend arbeiten. Danach kommt eine kurze Engstelle und weitere schöne Abseiler in offener Schlucht (max 25m). Bei der letzten Abseilstelle kann man schon den Wanderweg sehen den man nach der Stufe und etwas Steingehüpfe auf 1330m erreicht.

A magnificent vertical rappel canyon from start to exit with no long stretches between the steps. If you like vertical abseils, you will fall in love with this canyon. Most of the abseiling points are easy to see and, with a little skill, can also be abseiled outside the water jet. There are enough bolts and lugs to reach the sometimes exposed belays safely. The highest abseil point (approx. 45m) in the middle of the canyon can be mastered without any problems (only little water contact). This is immediately followed by a very impressive, hidden abseil. This section looks wilder than it is as you only rappel a short section in the water at the beginning and then dry in the overhang (28m). However, due to the sharp edges, it is essential to work carefully here. Then comes a short narrow section and more beautiful rappels in an open canyon (max. 25m). At the last abseil point you can already see the hiking trail, which you reach after the steps and some rock hopping at 1330m.

Nach dem Steingehüpfe den Weg 555 wieder bis zum Rifugio/Parkplatz folgen. Kleiner Tipp: Einkehr im Rifugio.
