Bach war heute schon durchaus kühler. Zu diesem Zeitpunkt kommt nur noch im oberen Teil kurz die Sonne über den Kamm. Im Wasser ist er sehr rutschig gewesen und außerhalb waren die Steine mit feuchten Eis überfroren. Also eine schöne Rutschparty. 😉 Haben ein paar Ringe gesetzt an den Stellen wo die alten schon wirklich nicht mehr gut ausgesehen haben und einige Fixseile getauscht. Ein beeindruckender canyon, leider wie gesagt diesmal mit wenig Licht.
Bach was already cooler today. At this point, the sun only briefly comes over the ridge in the upper part. It was very slippery in the water and the stones outside were frozen over with wet ice. So it was a nice sliding party 😉 We placed a few rings in places where the old ones really didn't look good anymore and replaced some fixed ropes. An impressive canyon, unfortunately with little light this time.

Alle Stände ok. Haben den Sfonderat mit dem Rondolon kombiniert. Haben oben beim Einstieg eine Schlinge mit Rapidglied eingebaut, dass man nicht den Abhang ungesichert runter muss.
All stands ok. We combined the Sfonderat with the Rondolon. Have installed a sling with a rapid link at the top of the entry so that you don't have to go down the slope unsecured.

Haben heute den Bach renoviert. Generell eine nette Schlucht die man definitiv mal gehen kann. Damit der zustieg ins Dogna-Tal sich auszahlt kann man den Rio Rondolon mit Rio Sfonderat kombinieren. Haben die Zustiegsbeschreibung angepasst auf aktuelle Gegebenheiten, da der Zustiegsweg auf fast keiner Karte eingezeichnet ist.
Renovated the stream today. Generally a nice canyon that you can definitely do. To make the access to the Dogna Valley worthwhile, you can combine the Rio Rondolon with the Rio Sfonderat. We have adapted the access description to current conditions, as the access path is not marked on almost any map.

Schön wie immer. Die Klamm hat sich seit meinem letzten Besuch ordentlich verändert. Felsen sind gerollt und unterm hohen Wasserfall ist jetzt ein tiefes, grünes Becken. Bis auf den ersten Sprung nach dem 45er gehen alle Sprünge.
Beautiful as always. The gorge has changed a lot since my last visit. Rocks have rolled away and there is now a deep, green pool under the high waterfall. Apart from the first jump after the 45, all the jumps are fine.

Alles wieder tip top. Haben bei der Mausefalle ein neues Seil reingehängt (sollte bis zum nächsten Unwetter halten) und ein zusätzliches Rapidglied hinein getan. Wenn man genau schaut erkennt man die Falle vor dem Sprung/Tobogan und umgeht sie. Einen weiteren Stand haben wir ebenfalls verbessert. Tolle Schlucht. Aktuell alle Tobos/Sprünge möglich.
Everything is tip-top again. We put a new rope in the mousetrap (should hold until the next storm) and added an additional rapid link. If you look closely, you can see the trap before the jump/tobogan and avoid it. We also improved another belay. Great canyon. All toboggans/jumps are currently possible.

Überraschend schöne aber leider kurze Tour. Die erste Wasserfallkaskade ist wirklich lohnend aber auch nach 5 Abseilern schon wieder vorbei. Wir haben uns auch noch die Gegend über der Einstiegsstelle angeschaut. Den Mittelteil kann man bequem am parallel zum Bach verlaufeenden Wanderweg zurücklegen. Am Ende kommt noch ein einzelner Abseiler.
Surprisingly beautiful but unfortunately short tour. The first waterfall cascade is really rewarding but also over after 5 rappels. We also took a look at the area above the entry point. The middle section can be easily covered on the hiking trail that runs parallel to the stream. There is a single rappel at the exit.

Nach unserer Auffassung aktuell nicht mehr so rutschig wie in den vergangenen Begehungen beschrieben und auch keine toten Tiere mehr. Wir sind ihn bei leicht erhöhtem Wasserstand begangen. In der engen Abseilstelle ist aktuell ein Baum an dem sich das Seil beim Abziehen leicht verfangen kann. Aktuell ist kaum Schotter in den Becken und daher oft überaschend tief. Alle Absicherungen in Ordnung.
In our opinion, it is no longer as slippery as described in previous inspections and there are no more dead animals. We climbed it when the water level was slightly higher. In the narrow abseiling point there is currently a tree on which the rope can easily get caught when pulling off. There is currently hardly any gravel in the pools and therefore often surprisingly deep. All belays are in order.

Gut abgesicherter und schöner Canyon der sich auch mit dem Rio Rivis kombinieren lässt. Einfach den gleichen Zustieg vom Rio Rivis hoch und kurz vor dem Einstieg nach rechts zum Costa queren. Dann weiter nach oben bis zum Bach. Der letzte lange Abseilstelle lässt sich auch gut an einem Stück abseilen (ca. 60m). Die Stände sind gut abgesichert (Kette mit Doppelanker).
Well-secured and beautiful canyon that can also be combined with Rio Rivis. Simply follow the same access from Rio Rivis and cross to the right to Costa just before the entry. Then continue upwards to the stream. The last long rappel can also be easily rappelled in one piece (approx. 60m). The belays are well secured (chain with double anchor).

Wilde, unübersichtliche Tour die man aber gemacht haben sollte. Durch die Gewitter der vorigen Tage hatten wir einen guten Wasserstand in der Schlucht. Fels war im Wasserlauf sehr rutschig. Tolle Aussicht aus der Klamm. Jetzt fehlt nur noch die Quellenschlucht Ich würde aktuell immer noch mit 2x80m Seil einsteigen. Beim letzten Wasserfall könnte man den neuen Haken verdoppelt oder einen Zwischenstand etwas oberhalb einrichten, dann müsste man aber auch den obersten Haken versetzen.
Wild, confusing tour that you should have done. Due to the thunderstorms of the previous days, we had a good water level in the canyon. The rock in the watercourse was very slippery. Great views from the gorge. The only thing missing now is the Quellenschlucht I would still go in with 2x80m ropes. At the last waterfall you could double the new anchor or set up an intermediate belay a little above, but then you would also have to move the top anchor.

2te Tour des Tages bevor die Gewitter kommen. Die Schlucht ist gut durchgeputzt, Sicherungen sind neu und sehr üppig. Leider kaum Wasserdurchsatz, dafür war der Fels mit Ausnahme des letzten Wasserfalls nicht rutschig. 1.5h zu dritt. Totes Tier in einem der Becken.
2nd tour of the day before the thunderstorms arrive. The canyon is well cleaned, belays are new and very plentiful. Unfortunately hardly any water flow, but the rock was not slippery except for the last waterfall. 1.5h for three. Dead animal in one of the pools.

Top Eingerichtet und wie immer wunderschön. Leider hab ich mir vermutlich beim SOS8 Abseiler einen Mantelriss geholt. Vermutlich ist das Seil in die Felsspalte gerutsch.
Top equipped and beautiful as always. Unfortunately, I probably tore my sheath on the SOS8 rappel. The rope probably slipped into the crevice.

Wir sind über den Einstieg der Lavarie gestartet. Anfahrt bis zum Umkehrplatz problemlos möglich. Anfangs leider komplett trocken und ab ca. höhe zwischeneinstieg wunderschönes glasklares Wasser. Einige Sprünge möglich. Den 70m Abseiler haben wir über den Zwischenstand gemacht. Beim Ankunftsbecken sind viele Leute die Baden und gerne den Leuten beim Abseilen zuschauen. Die Querung ist etwas rutschig aber gut machbar. Es ist auch ein Abseilring vorhanden den man für ein Seilgeländer nutzen könnte. Abseiler sind zum Großteil mit Seilschlingen eingerichtet. Aktuell kein einziger Kettenstand aber definitiv lohnende Schlucht. Da der obere Teil wirklich komplett trocken war, empfiehlt es sich möglicherweise erst beim Zwischeneinstieg einzusteigen. Dort sind aber aktuell sehr viel umgestürzte Bäume. Leider habe ich in dieser Tour meine Steigklemme plus Petzl Ovalo Karibner verloren (ich vermute im oberen Trockenen Teil). Falls ihn wer findet würde ich mich freuen ;-) (+436769144462)
We started from the Lavarie entry point. The approach to the turnaround point was easy. Unfortunately it was completely dry at the beginning and from about the intermediate entry point the water was crystal clear. Some jumps possible. We did the 70m rappel via the intermediate level. At the arrival pool there are many people swimming and watching the people rappelling. The traverse is a bit slippery but easy to do. There is also an abseil ring that could be used for a rope traverse. Rappels are mostly set up with rope slings. Currently not a single chain anchor but definitely worthwhile canyons. As the upper part was really completely dry, it may be advisable to start at the intermediate entrance. However, there are currently a lot of fallen trees there. Unfortunately, I lost my ascender plus Petzl Ovalo Karibner on this tour (I suspect in the upper dry part). If anyone finds it I would be happy ;-) (+436769144462)

Die Zufahrtsstraße hat zwar ein Fahrverbotsschild dennoch kann man gut bis zurückfahren. das ist auch empfehlenswert weil es sehr weit hineingeht. Man sollte jedoch ein Auto mit einem hohen Radstand haben weil die Spuren sehr tief sind. Der Weg am Anfang ist nur schwer ersichtlich wegen viel Bäumen die noch herumliegen. Die Tour selbst fängt nett an und entwickelt sich wirklich extrem schön. Vor allem wenn die unterirdische Quelle reinkommt die das Wasser merklich abkühlt. Geologisch ist die Tour ebenfalls sehr empfehlenswert. Rundum eine schöne Tour die sehr empfehlenswert ist mit klarem Wasser.
Although the access road has a no-driving sign, you can still drive all the way back. This is also recommended because it goes very far in. However, you should have a car with a high wheelbase because the tracks are very deep. The path at the beginning is difficult to see because there are still a lot of trees lying around. The tour itself starts off nicely and develops really beautifully. Especially when the underground spring comes in and cools the water down considerably. Geologically, the tour is also highly recommended. All in all, a beautiful tour that is highly recommended with clear water.

Heute alle 4 Teile gemacht. Wir haben einige Stände neu gebohrt bzw. renoviert, da Haken gefehlt haben. Wie immer super schön und einfach ein Traum. Aktuell sehr rutschig. Foto von der Brücke beim Ausstieg.
Made all 4 parts today. We re-drilled or renovated some of the stands as anchors were missing. As always superiore beautiful and simply a dream. Currently very slippery. Photo of the bridge at the exit.

Wirklich schöne und Abwechslungsreiche Tour. Im oberen Teil mit wenig Wasser und tief eingeschnitten geht ohne lange Gehstrecken voran bis zur Mündung in die Rocica. Die Absicherung wurde bei der letzten Begehung maßgeblich verbessert und ist jetzt ganz ok. Ein paar Bäume liegen aktuell in der Schlucht, können aber gut umgangen werden. Bei der Mündung befindet sich ein teilweise versicherter Steig bei dem man auf Wanderer trifft und welcher auch als Ausstieg genutzt werden kann. Die Wasserqualität nimmt in der Rocica schlagartig zu. Über eine relativ lange gehstrecke bei der hin und wieder abgeklettert wird gelangt man zum eindrucksvollen 65m Wasserfall. Unser 60m CE4Y Seil hat nicht ganz gereicht und wir haben ein 70m Halbstatikseil verwendet. (Eventuell würde ein 60m mit Seildehnung ausreichen). Nach einem weiteren 5m Abseiler und einer kurzen Gehstrecke folgt rechts der Ausstieg bis man auf die Schotterstraße trifft die zurück in den Ort führt. In der Rocica sind gesamt nur 3 Abseiler, aber mit dem 60m Wasserfall und den tiefblauen Becken definitiv lohnend. Gesamt gesehen ist die Brusnik eine wunderbare Canyoningtour die zwei komplett unterschiedliche Canyons verbinden.
Really beautiful and varied tour. In the upper part with little water and deep cuts, the route leads to the mouth of the Rocica without long walking passages. The protection was significantly improved during the last ascent and is now quite ok. There are currently a few trees in the canyon, but they can be easily bypassed. There is a partially secured path at the mouth where you will meet hikers and which can also be used as an exit. The water quality increases abruptly in the Rocica. The impressive 65m waterfall can be reached via a relatively long walk with downclimbs from time to time. Our 60m CE4Y rope was not quite enough and we used a 70m semi-static rope. (Perhaps a 60m with rope stretch would be sufficient). After another 5m rappel and a short walking passages, the exit follows on the right until you reach the gravel road that leads back to the village. In the Rocica there are only 3 rappels in total, but with the 60m waterfall and the deep blue pools it is definitely worthwhile. All in all, the Brusnik is a wonderful canyoning tour that combines two completely different canyons.

Gut abgesichert und auch bei erhöhtem Wasserstand gut machbar. Beim aktuellen Wasserstand der Fella (siehe Eintrag von Rok 22.06.2023) empfiehlt sich durchaus Variante 2 für den Ausstieg da die Strömung nicht unterschätzt werden sollte.
Well secured and easy to do even when the water level is high. At the current water level of the Fella (see entry by Rok 22.06.2023), variant 2 is definitely recommended for the exit as the current should not be underestimated.

Vorsicht beim Zustieg, die Holzbrücken sind teilweise durchgebrochen und der Steig ist Großteils sehr ausgesetzt. Der Tralba ist aktuell extrem rutschig und es ist einiges an Holz in der Tour (teilweise auch direkt in den Abseilstellen), was uns relativ viel Zeit gekostet hat. Absicherung ist auch bei erhöhtem Wasserstand ausreichend. Für uns war die Schlüsselstelle der erste 30m Wasserfall im Dopplerfall (SOS 8), da kein Sichtkontakt und bei erhöhtem Wasserstand sehr beeindruckend. Definitiv eine lohnende und wunderschöne Tagestour in kristallklarem Wasser.
Be careful on the access, the wooden bridges are partly broken through and the path is very exposed for the most part. The Tralba is currently extremely slippery and there is a lot of wood in the tour (partly also directly in the abseiling points), which cost us a relatively long time. The protection is adequate even when the water level is high. For us, the key point was the first 30m waterfall in the double cascade (SOS 8), as there was no visual contact and it was very impressive when the water level was high. Definitely a rewarding and beautiful day trip in crystal-clear water.

Guter allgemeiner Zustand und ausreichend Standplätze vorhanden. Einige Fixseile könnte man mittlerweile tauschen. Immer wieder eine schöne Tour 😊

Etwas erhöhter Wasserstand; Begehung ohne Probleme möglich. Wir sind am Ende der Schlucht links bei der Autobrücke ausgestiegen dafür muss man ca. 2m über betonierte Felsen klettern und die Leitplanke überqueren. Koordinaten aus Text eingetragen.
Slightly higher water level; can be walked without problems. We got out at the exit of the canyon on the left by the car bridge, but you have to climb about 2m over concreted rocks and cross the crash barrier. Coordinates entered from text.

Durchgehend steiler Zustieg. Abstiegszeit angepasst da ich 2h bis ganz runter als sehr sportlich empfinde. 2:30 bis zum 1. Ausstieg und 3h bis zur Straße sollten machbar sein. Ich kann mich Horst anschließen einige Schlingen könnten bereits erneuert werden. Großteils ist aber alles noch in Ordnung bis auf den ersten Abseiler nach dem möglichen Ausstieg (siehe Foto) hier falls möglich einen zweiten Anker setzen und mit Maillon Glied ausrüsten.
Steep access throughout. Descent time adjusted as I find 2h to the bottom very sporty. 2:30 to the 1st exit and 3h to the road should be doable. I can agree with Horst that some of the slings could be renewed. For the most part, however, everything is still in order except for the first rappel after the possible exit (see photo). If possible, place a second anchor here and equip it with a maillon link.
