Accesso: ➜
Von Lucarno --> ri. Biasca --> bei der Ortschaft Osogna-Cresciano bis zum Bahnhof fahren. Gegenüber der Pizzeria hinter der Lärmschutzwand direkt neben dem SBB-Gebäude (nördlich des Gebäudes). Hier kann man sich auch problemlos und sichtgeschützt (wenn gerade kein Zug vorbei fährt ;-)) auf dem Parkplatz umziehen. Grosser Parkplatz für ca. 20 Autos. Beim Einfahren mit hohen Fahrzeugen auf das Glasdach vor dem Gebäude achten. Das SBB-Gebäude wird nach dem Winter bei der jährlichen nächtlichen Streckenkontrolle als Umkleide- und Ausgangspunkt für die Arbeiter genutzt. Tagsüber ist dort nie was los. Bitte nicht auf die ausgewiesenen Parkplätze der Pizzeria parkieren. Parkplatz 2: 2.) Südlich der alten Bahnstation Osogna-Cresciano auf dem Plateau. Hier nur Platz für ca. 5 Autos. Bitte darauf achten, dass der PW-Anhänger mit den Rafts der ortsansässigen Canyoning- & Rafting Firma jederzeit zugänglich bleibt.
From Lucarno --> ri. Biasca --> at the village of Osogna-Cresciano drive to the train station. Opposite the pizzeria behind the noise barrier right next to the SBB building (north of the building). Here you can also change your clothes in the parking lot without any problems and protected from view (if no train is passing by ;-)). Large parking lot for about 20 cars. Watch out for the glass roof in front of the building when driving in with high vehicles. After the winter, the SBB building is used as a changing room during the annual night-time The SBB building is used as a changing room and starting point for the workers after the winter. It is never busy during the day. Please do not park in the designated parking spaces of the pizzeria. Parking lot 2: 2.) South of the old Osogna-Cresciano train station on the plateau. Only space for approx. 5 cars here. Please make sure that the car trailer with the rafts of the local canyoning & rafting company remains accessible at all times.

Auf dem Bürgersteig der Strasse entlang, 50 m nördlich der Pizzeria über die Leitplanke zum Ticino laufen. Am Fluss hinunter zur Mündung der Boggera. Dann dem Wasserlauf der Boggera folgen, unter den Brücken hindurch zur Kiesbank und Ausstieg der Boggera. Ca. 100m li. vor dem Bach gibt es einen Wanderweg nach oben --> mit steiler Anstieg gewinnt man schnell an Höhe --> nach gut15min. quert man das erste Mal den Bach (Warntafel) --> um den unteren Teil des Canyons zu gehen muss man aber noch auf ca. 480Hm den Wanderweg hoch --> dann li. In den Bach einsteigen.
Walk along the sidewalk along the road, 50 m north of the pizzeria over the guardrail to the Ticino. Follow the river down to the mouth of the Boggera. Then follow the watercourse of the Boggera, under the bridges to the gravel bank and the exit of the Boggera. Approx. 100m left before the stream there is a hiking trail upwards --> with a steep ascent you quickly gain altitude --> after a good 15min. you cross the stream for the first time (warning sign) --> to walk the lower part of the canyon you still have to walk up the hiking trail for approx. 480Hm --> then enter the stream on the left.

Die Tour ist einer der schönsten und bekanntesten Schluchten in der Gegend und wird daher auch stark Begangen --> wenn man aber einen Canyoningurlaub in der Schweiz macht, darf diese Landschaftlich atemberaubende Schlucht nicht fehlen --> um es kurz zu fassen bietet die Schlucht alles was eine lässige Canyoningtour haben sollte --> es gibt viele Sprünge, Rutschen und Abseiler in jeder Form und Höhe --> aufpassen sollte man nur an den scharfen Kanten --> auch bei viel Wasser ist Vorsicht geboten --> um längere Wartezeiten zu vermeiden empfiehlt es sich, früh aufzubrechen.

Begehung im Zuge der Koordinierung der Canyoningrettung Bergrettung Steiermark. Etwas Regen am Vormittag. Bei Kraftwerk angemeldet, 1 Std nach Einstieg SMS mit "Warning - Boggera - High danger of flash floods! EXIT!". Nach Rücksprache mit Kraftwerk noch 2 Std bis von Gelb auf Rot umgestellt wird. Daher sind wir weiter, im Mittelteil kommt ein Local Guide vorbei und macht Terror (sofort raus...) - sind dann ausgestiegen. Waren noch einige Zeit am Exit. Keine Veränderung des Wasserstands. Ansonsten alles super, keine Leute in der Schlucht.
Inspection as part of the coordination of the Styrian Mountain Rescue. Some rain in the morning. Registered at the power station, 1 hour after entry SMS with "Warning - Boggera - High danger of flash floods! EXIT!". After consultation with the power station, another 2 hours until the light changed from yellow to red. So we continued, in the middle section a local guide came by and caused terror (get out immediately...) - then we got out. Stayed at the exit for a while. No change in the water level. Otherwise everything was super, no people in the canyon.

Super amazing section of rock and water. Slides and jumps everywhere. Also people everywhere. It's probably not a great canyon to learn canyoning in as a private group, just because of how busy it could be in there... the water is also quite cold!

Beautifull canyon, time your entry around 12 to be inbetween guide groups. Warning, do not park along the road after going underneath the train tracks, park on the other side at the train station and hike in. Driving (and thus parking) on the other side is prohibited now and rewarded with a 100 franc fine.

Pas énormément d'eau. Parfois des mono points. Pas de main courante pour aller chercher les relais qui sont parfois bien au dessus du vide. Assez glissant. Sinon, très chouette avec beaucoupnde sauts et toboggans.

A critical description from the descente-canyon https://www.descente-canyon.com/canyoning/canyon-description/2662/topo.html is about how to descend the very last waterfall "A beautiful 27m waterfall that can end in a slide by pulling well to the right and arriving in a pool, followed by a slide that must be taken slightly to the right outside the vein of water (step below)." (translated by google) Note: "left" and "right" follow the downstream/canyoning direction. "taken slightly to the right" is the YELLOW line (check my uploaded photo), and the left side is the RED line. On the left side of the wall, there are two bolts with an orange handline hanging there. - DO NOT slide down the left side(RED line), and I was lucky only to have a painful bruise on my butt. - Handline DO NOT indicate you can slide without any precaution. The safety principle is not to slide or jump without seeing the whole trajectory and the landing point; rappel with the rope instead! In this case, I used the handline to walk out on the edge and tried to check the basin below; though I still couldn't see the landing point when standing on the edge, I made the wrong call to slide down on the left(RED line). Nicht weit weg tödliche Hochwasser und Murgänge, aber um Bellinzona und Biasca hat es sich in Grenzen gehalten. Nala und Boggera waren an dem Tag beide auf Gelb auf der Infoline. Auch wenn es nicht durchgespült wurde, ist es nicht allzu rutschig im Moment. Dennoch habe ich es langsam gesehen mit Boggera, freue mich wenn es nicht mehr regnet und die anderen grossen Klassiker auch wieder gehen.
Deadly floods and debris flows not far away, but around Bellinzona and Biasca it was limited. Nala and Boggera were both on yellow on the Infoline that day. Even if it wasn't washed through, it's not too slippery at the moment. Nevertheless, I've seen it slowly with Boggera, I'll be happy when it stops raining and the other big classics can go again.
