Von Chiusaforte aus Richtung Sella Nevea fahren. Unmittelbar nachdem man die Raccolana überquert hat links parken (Platz für 1 PKW), oder schon vorher im Ort.
Von Carnia fährt man auf der SS13 Richtung Tarvisio --> am Ende der Ortschaft Chiusaforte biegt man re Richtung „Sella Nevea“/Raccolana ab -->Straße gerade aus folgen --> noch vor der Brücke, die über den Raccolana Bach führt, biegt man rechts in eine Straße ein, die zu einem großen Parkplatz führt. Wenn man bis zum Erdwall beim Racolana fährt biegt man links ab und stellt sich am besten beim Ende des Parkplatzes hin -> dort führen Stufen auf dem Wall und runter zum Bachbett des Raccolana. Hier kommt man beim Rückweg durch das Flussbett der Fella und der Raccolana wieder gut raus.

Der Pfad führ zuerst parallel zum Weg 638 leicht abschüssig-> man überquert ein Bachbett und danach geht es wieder leicht bergauf über den Hangrücken ehe man dann leicht bergab (Versichert hangabwärts mit Absperrbändern) (ca 520Hm). bis zum Bachbett des Macile/Brussine direkt vor der ersten Abseil/Sprungstelle kommt. Der Pfad wurde im Herbst 2021 durch den AIC neu angelegt und ist der schnellste und ergonomischte Zustieg zum Rio Macile. Schnelle Geher schaffen den Zustieg locker unter 30 Minuten.
