Erstbegehung des oberen Teils gemeinsam mit David und Georg. Sehr nette, abwechslungsreiche Schlucht.

First ascent of the upper part together with David and Georg. Very nice, varied canyon.

Eigentlich wars als Erstbegehung geplant, in der Schlucht haben wir aber zwei Generationen an Sicherungsmaterial gefunden - alte, rostige Expansionshaken Marke Eigenbau und jüngere Multimonti-Schrauben mit Kettengliedern. Die Klamm selbst ist nett und sonnig, der Fels schön ausgewaschen. Kalt wars, Schneetreiben und Sonne haben sich abgewechselt. 3 Zusätzliche Haken gesetzt.

It was actually planned as a first ascent, but we found two generations of belaying material in the canyon - old, rusty self-made expansion bolts and more recent multimonti bolts with chain links. The gorge itself is nice and sunny, the rock beautifully washed out. It was cold, snow and sun alternated. 3 additional anchors set.

Erstbegehung. Unerwartet wunderschöner Canyon mit einigen Abseilern - höchste 30m und Sprüngen, mit wenigen Gehstrecken in einem wilden Ambiente. Der Rückweg geht leider zuerst weglos bergauf, deswegen nur 4 Sterne.

First ascent. Unexpectedly beautiful canyon with some rappels - highest 30m and jumps, with few walking passages in a wild ambience. Unfortunately, the way back is first uphill without a path, so only 4 stars.

Erstbegehung - sehr schöner kurzer Anfängercanyon mit Spaßfaktor und wundervollem Ambiente in der Engklamm.

First ascent - very nice short beginner canyon with fun factor and wonderful ambience in the gorge.

All the equipment is fine. The water was extremely clean and the rocks were not slippery. There is a sign on the bridge that the canyon is prohibited from the end of September to the first of April (I think it said that the lower canyon is prohibited but they walk it anyway because I saw footprints). The fine is 50 euros. Parking down by the lake costs 2 euros per hour.
