Herrliche, tief eingeschnitte Klamm mit gigantischen Granit Felsblöcken. Nach zwei Abseilern über gewaltige Blöcke in einen Felsenkessel folgt eine ausgewaschene, tiefe und enge Klamm. Nach diversen Rutschen und Sprüngen endet die Klamm viel zu früh direkt am Ausstiegsparkplatz. Zum Teil viel aber sauberes Wasser. Bei Kraftwerkbetreiber anrufen (vor und nach der Tour) (0041 (0)91 756 66 15). Achtung! Der Wasserstand lässt sich in dieser Schlucht nur extrem schlecht abschätzen.
Magnificent, deeply incised gorge with gigantic granite boulders. After two rappels over huge boulders into a rock basin follows a washed out, deep and narrow gorge. After several slides and jumps the gorge ends much too early directly at the parking exit. Partly much but clean water. Call the power station operator (before and after the tour) (0041 (0)91 756 66 15). Attention. The water level is extremely difficult to estimate in this canyon.

Von Locarno --> ri. Biasca --> weiter ri. Lucomagno --> bei Ponte Lesgiuna vor der großen Brücke re. beim Ortsschild ‘Valle di Blenio’ parken (380Hm) Wasserstand von der zweiten kleinen Steinbrücke nur schwer einschätzbar --> besser beim Einstieg kontrollieren.
From Locarno --> ri. Biasca --> continue ri. Lucomagno --> park at Ponte Lesgiuna before the big bridge on the right at the place name sign 'Valle di Blenio' (380Hm) water level from the second small stone bridge difficult to estimate --> better check at the entry.
Avvicinamento (20 min): ➜
Gleich re. neben der kl. Brücke geht ein steiler Wanderweg in den Wald --> nach einem Eisentor geht es weiter steil nach oben bis auf ca. 518Hm --> hier li. (Steinmandl) --> den Wanderpfad entlang geht es nochmals hoch --> li. vom Pfad große Felsplatte --> nach kurzer Zeit kommt man aus dem Wald und man hat einen wunderschönen Blick in die Schlucht. Ab hier (Gefahrenschild) geht es in Kürze zum Bach runter (Seilsicherung re. im steilen Gelände möglich) --> Einstieg bei 480Hm.
Immediately to the right next to the small bridge a steep hiking trail goes into the forest --> after an iron gate it continues steeply uphill to about 518Hm --> here to the left (Steinmandl) --> along the hiking trail it goes up again --> to the left of the path large rock slab --> after a short time you come out of the forest and you have a beautiful view into the canyon. From here (danger sign) it goes down shortly to the creek (rope belay on the right in the steep terrain possible) --> entry at 480Hm.

Am Bach angekommen sieht man schon die beeindruckenden Granitblöcke die man so nicht oft zu Gesicht bekommt --> hier kommt auch gleich ein 20m Abseiler (überhängend) --> den Abseiler könnte man auch re. abklettern --> als nächstes folgt ein 42m Abseiler, im Überhäng mit scharfe Kante unterhalb des Felsblocks (sehr beeindruckend) --> die nächsten Abseiler bzw. Rutschen sind mit Vorsicht zu genießen (Strömungs- und Rücklaufgefahr) --> nach dem Großen Klemmblock (Gigantisch) kommen noch einige Gumpen in sehr engen Schluchtteil --> durch klares Wasser hat man jedoch immer eine gute Sicht um die Stellen ein zu schätzen --> am Schluss kommt man von senkrecht aufragenden Felswänden in ein flaches breites Bachkiesbett mit den 2 Brücken.
