Sind um 11:30 eingestiegen und hatten dann in den Engstellen wunderbaren Lichteinfall auf die Wasservorhänge und Zuflüsse, die von den Seiten herabtropften. Das Wasser sollte man perfekt lesen können, um diese Schlucht zu meistern. Teilweiße befinden sich Steine 10cm unter dem Weißwasser, ohne dass man sie sieht. Während der Begehung schwankte der Durchflussensor zw. 1.52 m3/s und 3.19, was in der Schlucht aber nicht spürbar ist, deshalb ist die Messgenauigkeit/Aufläsung des Sensors anzuzweifeln. Ein aquatisches Highlight, aber nur für sehr erfahrene Gruppen!
We got in at 11:30 and then had a wonderful view of the water curtains and tributaries dripping down from the sides in the narrow sections. You should be able to read the water perfectly to master this canyon. Some of the stones are 10 cm below the white water without being visible. During the ascent, the flow sensor fluctuated between 1.52 m3/s and 3.19, but this is not noticeable in the canyon, so the accuracy/resolution of the sensor is doubtful. An aquatic highlight, but only for very experienced groups!

Begehung des kompletten Latreinbaches. Oberer Teil fast trocken und erst halbwegs interessant ab Zusammenfluss der Seitenarme, erst dann auch etwas Wasser. Beim Einstieg am unteren Teil (neue Forststraße) hängen 3 umgestürzte Bäume sehr ungünstig. Generell sehr viel Holz und Verklausungen bei den Abseilstellen. Im oberen Teil 2 mal gebohrt, es muss aber in den letzten Jahren jemand mal durchgegangen sein, da ein paar neu wirkende Stände zu finden waren.
Walk along the entire Latreinbach. Upper part almost dry and only halfway interesting from the confluence of the side arms, only then also some water. At the entry at the lower part (new forest road) 3 fallen trees are hanging very unfavorably. Generally a lot of wood and blockages at the abseiling points. Drilled 2 times in the upper part, but someone must have gone through in recent years, as there were a few new-looking stands.

Bei hohem Wasserstand richtig spaßig! An keiner Stelle wirkliche Wassergefahr. Im oberen Teil war ein Stand sehr schwer zu erreichen (zu klettern, absturzgefährdet, mit Sicherung möglich, dürfte der C14 sein). Im unteren Teil haben wir einen nicht gefunden, vom Baum aus aber möglich.
Really fun when the water level is high! No real danger of water at any point. In the upper part, one belay was very difficult to reach (climbable, at risk of falling, possible with a belay, probably the C14). We didn't find one in the lower part, but it was possible from the tree.

Sonne ab mittags im Canyon. Die ersten Abseiler wirklich traumhaft, etwas getrübt von einer sehr langen Bachwanderung, aber die Ankunft im Meer ist wieder sehr schön.
Sun from midday in the canyon. The first rappels are really fantastic, somewhat marred by a very long river walk, but the arrival in the sea is again very beautiful.

Straße nur bis Camping Tuani selbst befahrbar, ab dort nur noch per Shuttle-Bus bis "A Frasseta" befahrbar (danach 2 Brücken eingestürzt, Straße teils weggebrochen) - Shuttle muss im Vorhinein gebucht werden! https://www.isula.corsica/Navetta-Restonica-C13_a4624.html Von der Endstation muss man ca. 6km noch zum Talende am Wanderweg zu Fuß gehen (Beschilderung nach "Lac de Melo", orografisch links) - mit zusätzlichen 1,5-2h rechnen, pro Richtung! Canyon ist sich für uns dann nicht mehr ausgegangen, Wasserstand wäre cool gewesen :)
Road only passable to Camping Tuani itself, from there only passable by shuttle bus to "A Frasseta" (then 2 bridges collapsed, road partly broken away) - shuttle must be booked in advance! https://www.isula.corsica/Navetta-Restonica-C13_a4624.html From the terminus, you have to walk approx. 6km to the end of the valley along the hiking trail (signposted to "Lac de Melo", orographic left) - expect an additional 1.5-2h each way! Canyon didn't work out for us, water level would have been cool :)

Haben an der Stelle, an der das gesamte Wasser zusammenkommt (kurz vor dem C15) einen Treibanker verwendet, restlicher Canyon auch bei hohem Wasserstand kein Problem. Bilder: Wasserstand von der Brücke aus, Becken vor dem C15 und C15 von unten
We used a floating anchor at the point where all the water comes together (just before the C15), the rest of the canyon is no problem even when the water level is high. Pictures: Water level from the bridge, pool in front of the C15 and C15 from below

Beschreibung als "kompletter Canyon" wohl etwas übertrieben ;) war "ganz nett". Zustieg schwer zu finden, eher weglos (viele Dornenbüsche!) Aktuell kann man an der beschriebenen Parkbucht wegen einer Baustelle nicht parken, ca 500m weiter östlich möglich (dann kann man nach dem Canyon direkt im Fluss zum Auto schwimmen)
Description as "complete canyon" probably a bit exaggerated ;) was "quite nice". Access difficult to find, rather pathless (many thorn bushes!) Currently you can not park at the described parking bay because of a construction site, about 500m further east possible (then you can swim directly in the river to the car after the canyon)

Die für uns wohl bisher beste Zustiegsvariante: vom oberen Parkplatz den geraden/leicht ansteigenden Forstweg ("Jochberg-Ost") bis zum Ende folgen, dann auf der gleichen Höhenlinie ca 300m bis zum Bach und in diesen absteigen (auch mit Seil möglich) - immer noch steil, aber für ein wesentlich kürzeres Stück! 2 Haken neu gebohrt.
Probably the best approach option for us so far: from the upper parking lot, follow the straight/easily ascending forest path ("Jochberg-Ost") to the exit, then follow the same contour line for approx. 300m to the stream and descend into it (also possible with ropes) - still steep, but for a much shorter section! 2 anchors newly drilled.

Oberer Teil wurde leider durch einen Felssturz zerstört. Man steigt jetzt ca. 10m vor dem Wegkreuz beim Zustieg ein (40m Abseiler kurz vor erstem Notausstieg). Zustiegsdauer in der Beschreibung stimmt nicht. Normale Zustiegszeit beträgt 30-40 min. Tour an sich top! Pools alle sehr tief und fast alle Stellen können mehrfach wiederholt werden (Seile zum hochklettern vorhanden). Teilweise sehr rutschige stellen
The upper part was unfortunately destroyed by a rockfall. You now enter about 10m before the crossroads at the access (40m rappel just before the first emergency exit). The approach time in the description is not correct. Normal ascent time is 30-40 minutes. Tour itself top! Pools all very deep and almost all places can be repeated several times (ropes available for climbing up). Partly very slippery places

Stände in gutem Zustand. Einige Sprünge möglich. Die Rutsche sicher ein Highlight (hier kann man zurückklettern und auch springen) - sind dann vor der Rutsche o. rechts ausgestiegen. Tour Brücke bis Rutsche ca. 1h, Rückweg ca. 20min.
Stands in good condition. Some jumps possible. The slide is certainly a highlight (you can climb back here and also jump) - we got off before the slide on the right. Tour bridge to slide approx. 1h, return approx. 20min.

Zustieg mehr als 3h (Routenfindung miteinplanen, am besten GPS-Track verwenden). Tour anspruchsvoll, mit ständiger Abwägung zwischen Wasser-/Absturzgefahr. Abseilen meist direkt im Wasserstrahl. Bei dem Becken mit Rücklauf (R8, 34m) haben wir eine Person ohne Rucksack vorgeschickt, die dann den anderen mittels Wurfsack aus dem Becken half. Das Becken beim drittletzten Abseiler war kein Problem, wenn man den Stand auf der o. linken Seite nimmt. Trotz der vielen Zuflüsse nimmt die Wassermasse/Wasserwucht beim Abseilen gegen Ende der Schluht hin gefühlt nicht zu.
Access more than 3h (plan route finding, best to use GPS track). Demanding tour, with constant balancing of water/fall risk. Rappels mostly directly in the water jet. At the pool with the return (R8, 34m) we sent one person without a rucksack ahead, who then helped the others out of the pool using a throw bag. The pool at the third-to-last rappel was no problem if you take the stance on the left. Despite the many tributaries, the mass of water/water force does not increase towards the exit of the rappel.

Haben die Variante "Bras de Caverne" gemacht. Bei der zweiten Stufe haben wir uns aufgrund des letzten Eintrags für die trockene Variante o. links entschieden, bei der dritten Stufe für die nahe am Wasserfall. Ausreichend Seil mitnehmen (ein 100m-Seil wäre bei der C101 deutlich zu kurz gewesen!). Für das Biwak genug Wasser mitnehmen (z.B. in leere Plastikflaschen filtern), da es direkt dort keine Wasserquelle gibt und der Weg dorthin mühsam ist. Um ca. 5 Uhr morgens war es bei uns hell und um ca. 6 Uhr wird man definitiv von den Helis geweckt. Sonne hatten wir um ca. 10/halb 11 beim Biwak. In den Corridor sind wir dann über das Bassin Fénoir eingestiegen. Restliche Schlucht sehr rutschig.
We did the "Bras de Caverne" variant. Based on the last entry, we opted for the dry variant to the left for the second step and for the one close to the waterfall for the third step. Take enough rope with you (a 100m rope would have been far too short on the C101). Take enough water with you for the bivouac (e.g. filter into empty plastic bottles), as there is no water source directly there and the path to it is difficult. It was light for us at around 5am and you are definitely woken up by the helicopters at around 6am. We had sun at about 10/half 11 at the bivouac. We then entered the corridor via the Bassin Fénoir. The rest of the canyon was very slippery.

Accessed via Bras Rouge Superieur ("La Cathedrale" very worthwhile, but again much longer access). Stands in good condition. Reception almost everywhere. Water level picture attached (from the bridge next to the parking lot).

Stände inkl. Seilschonern in gutem Zustand. Für den ersten Teil der Schlucht muss man den Neopren noch nicht anziehen (trocken bis nach der zweiten langen Gehpassage). Für den Ausstieg: sobald man die Seilbahn orografisch links sieht, auf der linken Seite nach den Schildern Ausschau halten. Bzw mit GPS-Karten abgleichen. Kein Empfang in der Schlucht.
Stands including rope protectors in good condition. For the first part of the canyon you don't need to put on the neoprene (dry until after the second long walking passages). For the exit: as soon as you see the cable car orographic left, look for the signs on the left side. Or check with GPS maps. No reception in the canyon.

Doch noch gegangen nach 3 Wochen ohne Regen. Wasserstand war "normal" für die Tour. Siehe Foto zur Einschätzung. Beschriebener Zustieg ist zu weit, besser in einem der Tobel welche man überquert abseilen (Haken gesehen, aber nicht benutzt). Abenteuercanyon, nix für schwache Nerven.
But still gone after 3 weeks without rain. Water level was "normal" for the tour. See photo for assessment. Described access is too far, better to rappel in one of the ravines you cross (anchors seen but not used). Adventure canyon, not for the faint-hearted.

Einstieg auf 2120m nicht machbar (Eis). Ca. 50m tiefer gibt es auf beiden Seiten Haken, von dort 40m Abseilen bis zum Schluchtgrund.
Entry at 2120m not feasible (ice). Approx. 50m in depth there are anchors on both sides, from there 40m rappel to the bottom of the gorge.

Wonderful Karwendeltour from Vomp. Almost dry in its upper part but recommended for its curvy shapes in compact, white limestone. To our joy we found most drops rebolted straight from the start, with single, generally well-placed glue-in bolts (8mm). The original anchors are still in place, but no longer used (all are missing quicklink). The lower section on the other hand is almost excessively equipped with chains and fixed ropes. We added one Tebylon anchor in the upper part where a hanger was missing (but the rock on this location was bad) otherwise the bolting is fine. With a minimal bolting kit, this canyon should be doable top-to-bottom. As the book says, an ice axe could be interesting early season. Vomper loch currently has more gravel than usual.

Alle Stände ok. Die meisten Becken auch bei hohem Wasserstand kein Problem, man kann oft schnell wieder stehen (Kies), Treibanker trotzdem sicher sinnvoll mitzunehmen.
All stands ok. Most pools are no problem even when the water level is high, you can often stand again quickly (gravel), but it still makes sense to take a floating anchor with you.

Super Tour! Stände alle top. Oberer Teil mit viel Wasser und abseilen meist im Wasserstrahl. Unterer Teil vom Wasser her unbedenklich. Oben eine Rutsche und unten ein paar Sprünge möglich. Parkplatz oben (gratis) wurde neu angelegt. Maut 3,50€.
Superiore tour! Stands all top. Upper part with lots of water and rappels mostly in the water jet. Lower part safe from the water. A slide at the top and a few jumps possible at the bottom. New parking lot at the top (free). Toll 3,50€.

Regen in den letzten Tagen. Torrente Lirone bis zum Zusammenfluss mit dem Torrente Telo ohne Probleme begehbar (1x Abseilen, mehrere Sprünge, 3 tolle Rutschen). Da ab dem Zusammenfluss die Wassermenge um mehr als das doppelte steigt, sind wir über ein zuvor eingehängtes Seil ausgestiegen. (Anbei eine Markierung auf der Karte für den alternativen Ausstieg. Ein kleiner Weg führt dorthin, das Seil kann an einem Baum befestigt werden. (Viele Dornenbüsche!) Man verpasst dadurch die letzten 4 Abseiler.)
Rain in the last few days. Torrente Lirone up to the confluence with Torrente Telo can be climbed without any problems (1x rappel, several jumps, 3 great slides). As the water volume more than doubles from the confluence, we got out via a previously attached rappel. (Attached is a marker on the map for the alternative exit. A small path leads there, the ropes can be attached to a tree. (Lots of thorn bushes!) You will miss the last 4 rappels).

Alternative bei Regen. Wasserstand unbedenklich. Stände prinzipiell in Ordnung, ein Stand relativ schwer zu erreichen und bei sehr rutschigem Fels Absturzgefahr. Leider viel Müll in der Schlucht (Tierkadaver in Plastiksack, etc.)!
Alternative in case of rain. Water level safe. The stands are generally okay, one stand is relatively difficult to reach and there is a risk of falling if the rock is very slippery. Unfortunately a lot of garbage in the canyon (animal carcasses in plastic bags, etc.)!

Wird kommerziell begangen, Tour ist super ausgebaut! Heute sehr hoher Wasserstand, aufgrund der gut platzierten Stände aber immer noch sehr sicher zu begehen, anbei Fotos zum Vergleich. Mir ist nicht ganz klar wie die Bewertung v6a6III zustande kommt....
Commercially used, tour is superiore developed! Very high water level today, but still very safe to walk due to the well-placed stands, attached photos for comparison. I'm not quite sure how the rating v6a6III comes about....

Aufgrund des hohen Wasserstandes drehendes Becken beim ersten Abseiler/Rutsche (Weißwasser bis zur gegenüberliegenden Wand, keine "ruhige" Stelle mehr im Becken). Als wir dort ankamen hing bereits ein Seil mit notfallmäßig ausgehängtem Abseilachter im Becken (hatte wohl schon jemand vor uns Probleme an dieser Stelle...). Nach 2maligem Querungsversuch Aufstieg am Seil und Notausstieg orografisch links auf den Weg. Wasserstandsbilder vom Einstieg anbei. Die verkeilten Baumstämme im Bachbett waren bis zu dieser Stelle kein Problem, sind aber bei hohem Wasserstand sicher mit Vorsicht zu genießen!
Due to the high water level, the pool was turning at the first rappel/slide (white water up to the opposite wall, no more "calm" spots in the pool). When we got there, there was already a rope with an emergency abseil eighth hanging in the pool (someone had probably already had problems at this point before us...). After 2 attempts to traverse, ascent on the rope and emergency exit orographic left onto the path. Water level pictures of the entry are attached. The wedged tree trunks in the streambed were no problem up to this point, but are certainly to be enjoyed with caution at high water levels!

Toller Ausblick aufs Meer beim Abseilen! Beschreibung am besten abfotografieren und mitführen. Zufahrt: bei der Abzweigung 'nach rechts Richtung Ololbizzi' ist ein Fahrverbot. Jedoch großer öffentlicher Parkplatz an der Weggabelung (5€ Parkgebühr). Grotta del Fico ist versperrt.
Great view of the sea while rappelling! It is best to take a photo of the description and carry it with you. Access: driving is prohibited at the turn-off 'to the right towards Ololbizzi'. However, there is a large public parking lot at the fork in the road (€5 parking fee). Grotta del Fico is closed.

Landschaftlich schöner Wandercanyon mit ein paar Sprungmöglichkeiten. Stände top (meist 2 Einzelhaken), sehr viel abkletterbar. 1h Rückweg zu Fuß (ist wsl schneller als Auto umstellen...).
Scenic hiking canyon with a few possible jumps. Top stands (mostly 2 single pitons), lots of climbing. 1 hour return on foot (faster than moving the car...).

Als Canyon an sich nicht lohnenswert, kann jedoch als "interessanter Strandzugang" zum Spaggia di Cala Fuili genutzt werden. Gute Kettenstände, teils mehrere pro Abseilstelle. Leider beim Abseilen nie direkter Blick aufs Meer... nach dem letzten Abseiler ist es noch ca. 1/2h zu Fuß bis zum Strand.
Not worthwhile as a canyon in itself, but can be used as an "interesting beach access" to the Spaggia di Cala Fuili. Good chain anchors, sometimes several per abseil. Unfortunately, there is never a direct view of the sea when rappelling... After the last rappel, it's another 1/2 hour walk to the beach.

Sehr schöner Fels und Ausblick. Stände alle top. Zustieg sehr steil/absturzgefährdet und meist "querfeldein" (aktuell hängen Absperrbänder an Bäumen, die den Weg bis zu Jägerhäuserl markieren, von dort gehts noch etwas weiter oberhalb durch Latschen bis zum Bach). Long-John und dünnes Oberteil reichen, man wird nicht oft nass. Empfang in der gesamten Schlucht.
Very beautiful rock and view. Stands all top. Access very steep/at risk of falling and mostly "cross-country" (there are currently barrier tapes on trees marking the way up to Jägerhäuserl, from there it goes a little further up through mountain pines to the stream). Long johns and a thin top are enough, you don't get wet often. Reception throughout the canyon.

Alle Sprünge möglich. Beim höchsten Abseiler (17m) einiges an Geschiebe im Abseilverlauf, Seil evtl. schwer abziehbar. Alternativ kann man rechts ein paar Meter nach oben klettern und dort von einem Baum abseilen. Wasserwucht beim Abseilen.
All jumps possible. At the highest rappel (17m) there is some rubble in the course of the rappel, rope may be difficult to pull off. Alternatively, you can climb a few meters up on the right and rappel from a tree. Water force during rappel.

Winterbegehung von Teilstücken: 1. und 2. Teil nicht begangen (zu viel Schnee) 3. Teil begangen, eine Stelle mussten wir umgehen (blockiert mit Schnee) 4. Teil nicht begangen, zuviel Schnee in der Schlucht und halb abgebrochene Wechten oberhalb 5. Teil begangen Wasserstand ideal. Zustieg und Tour von zahlreichen Lawinenstrichen bedroht. Wir haben mind. 5 größere Lawinenkegel gequert. Besser im Spätherbst, vor größeren Schneefällen.
Winter ascent of sections: 1st and 2nd part not walked (too much snow) 3rd section climbed, we had to bypass one section (blocked with snow) 4th part not climbed, too much snow in the canyon and half-broken cornices above 5th part climbed Water level ideal. Access and tour threatened by numerous avalanche tracks. We crossed at least 5 large avalanche cones. Better in late fall, before major snowfalls.
