Von Reutte in südlicher Richtung bis zur Ortschaft Stockach fahren. Vor der Brücke (Tankstelle) gibt es auf der rechten und linken Straßenseite einen großen Schotterparkplatz wo auch übernachtet werden kann (parken/Tag €3,-, Übernachtung €10,-, Stand 2025). Entweder man parkt hier den PKW oder man fährt links in Richtung Sulzlbach hoch, über die kleine Brücke und gleich links weiter bis zum letzten Haus (alte Jugendherberge, Ferienhaus "JEKA - Haus De Kluis") neben dem Sulzlbach. Hier haben ca. 10 Autos Platz. Wasserstandskontrolle hinter dem Ferienhaus bei der kleinen Wehrstufe möglich (oder ca. 10min flussaufwärts bei der letzten Kaskade 25+8).

Drive south from Reutte to the village of Stockach. Before the bridge (petrol station) there is a large gravel parking place on the right and left side of the road where you can also stay overnight (parking/day €3,-, overnight stay €10,-, as of 2025). You can either park your car here or turn left towards Sulzlbach, cross the small bridge and continue immediately left to the last house (old youth hostel, vacation home "JEKA - Haus De Kluis") next to the Sulzlbach. There is space for about 10 cars here. You can check the water level behind the vacation home at the small weir (or about 10 minutes upstream at the last cascade 25+8).

Zustieg über die Forststraße direkt neben der Jugendherberge (Wanderbeschilderung "Sulzlalm"). Nach den aussichtsreichen Tunnellöchern geht man weiter bis zu einem großen Holzkreuz mit zwei Bänken auf der rechten Seite (ca. 1390hm). Hier führt gleich links ein kleiner Weg bis zum Bach (zur kleinen Holzbrücke) auf ca. 1370hm hinab.

Access via the forest road directly next to the youth hostel (signposted "Sulzlalm"). After the panoramic tunnel holes, continue to a large wooden cross with two benches on the right-hand side (approx. 1390m). Here a small path leads immediately to the left down to the stream (to the small wooden bridge) at approx. 1370m.

Nach einer Geh- und Abkletterstrecke (ca. 200m) kommt die erste von vielen, bis max. 10m hohen, meist problemlosen Abseilstellen. Zwischen den Abseilstellen gibt es in der oberen Hälfte immer wieder kurze Geh- und Abkletterpassagen. Umso weiter man absteigt, desto mehr verengt sich die Schlucht und die Schwierigkeit nimmt zu. Die Abseilstellen sind alle gut angebracht. Vorsicht und saubere Seilarbeit sind aber bei den zum Teil sehr aquatischen und strömungsreichen Becken Voraussetzung! Zwei markante 25m Abseilstellen mit großen Gumpen (1x in der Mitte und 1x am Schluss) sind die Schlüsselstellen der Tour. Hat man bei der letzten hohen Kaskade (25m+ 8m) kein gutes Gefühl, so kann diese über ein Fixseil und den alten Wartungssteig orographisch links umgangen werden.

After a walking and abseiling section (approx. 200m) comes the first of many, mostly problem-free abseiling sections up to a maximum height of 10m. Between the abseils, there are always short walking and downclimbs in the upper half. The further you descend, the more the canyon narrows and the more difficult it becomes. The abseiling points are all well positioned. However, caution and clean rope work are required in the sometimes very aquatic and current-rich pools! Two striking 25m abseils with large pools (1x in the middle and 1x at the end) are the key points of the tour. If you don't have a good feeling about the last high cascade (25m+ 8m), you can bypass it orographically to the left via a fixed rope and the old maintenance climb.

Nach der letzten Kaskade folgt man auf ca. 1100hm dem flachen Bachbett bis zur Jugendherberge (Parkplatz) zurück.

After the last cascade, follow the flat streambed for about 1100m back to the youth hostel (parking lot).
