Zu 4 auf 2049m eingestiegen. Wunderschöne Tour, eine problematische Stelle. Nach dem langen 120m kommt nochmal 2x40m. Der Stand vom zweiten 40m ist unlogisch platziert, weit orographisch links, sodass man fast am Anfang schon aus dem Wasserlauf abseilen muss und weit links auf trockenen Fels nach dem Kettenstand suchen muss. Als erste, hab ich mich im Wasserfall abgeseilt, hab nirgends Haken gesehen. Man kommt in einem runden Becken mit Rücklauf und am Ausgang siphoniert, mit unserem Wasserstand unproblematisch daraus zu schwimmen aber mit mehr Wasser potentiell sehr gefährlich. Vor allem weil man von da 0 Chance hat, den Stand zu erreichen. Der ist dann 3-4 Meter auf flachem Fels oberhalb. Wenn man die Schlucht zu 2 geht, was ich nicht empfehlen würde, müssen beide sehr erfahren sein damit das ganze auch funktioniert 😅. Alles andere unproblematisch inkl Siphon.
Started at 4 at 2,049 m. A beautiful route, with one tricky section. After the long 120-meter pitch, there are two more 40-meter pitches. The belay station for the second 40-meter rappel is illogically placed, far to the orographic left, so that you almost have to rappel out of the watercourse right at the start and search far to the left on dry rock for the chain anchor. I was the first to rappel down the waterfall and didn’t see any anchors anywhere. You end up in a round pool with a backflow, and at the exit there’s a siphon—with our water level, it’s no problem to swim out of it, but with higher water it could be very dangerous. Especially because from there, you have zero chance of reaching the belay station. That belay is 3–4 meters up on flat rock above the canyon. If you tackle the canyon as a pair—which I wouldn’t recommend—both climbers need to be very experienced for the whole thing to work out 😅. Everything else is straightforward, including the siphon.

Wunderschöne Schlucht mit tollen Stellen, wir waren von der Kirche bis Ausstieg zu viert ca 4 Stunden am Weg. Die Stimmung war am Ende nur ein bisschen getrübt, da tatsächlich bei uns im Auto eingebrochen wurde, also aufpassen!
A beautiful canyon with some great spots; the four of us spent about 4 hours on the trail from the church to the exit. Our mood was just a little dampened at the exit because someone actually broke into our car, so be careful!

Nur den unteren Teil gegangen, 2h mit einem Auto zu zweit. Zustieg war kurz aber knackig, beim letzten Wasserfall waren links in der Wand ca 2m vor der Abbruchkante zwei Klebehaken.
We only did the lower section; it took two of us 2 hours by car. The access was short but steep; at the last waterfall, there were two glued anchors on the left side of the wall, about 2 meters before the ledge.

Einstieg bei der Brücke. 3 neue Haken gesetzt (einige wären noch notwendig!!). Die Schlucht hat durch die neue Wasserableitung einen konstant hohen Wasserstand und ist daher sehr anspruchsvoll (Treibanker und gute Kenntnis von Seilsystemen aller Teilnehmer sind absolute Voraussetzung!). Sehr beeindruckende und wasserreiche Schlucht - in dieser Form wahrscheinlich die schwierigste in Tirol! Lt. Anrainern mussten bereits Personen geborgen werden... Aktuell leider Zulauf von Sure/Kuhmist relativ am Anfang...
Entry at the bridge. 3 new anchors installed (a few more would still be needed!!). Due to the new water diversion, the canyon has a consistently high water level and is therefore very challenging (a drift anchor and a good understanding of rope systems by all participants are absolutely essential!). A very impressive and watery canyon—probably the most difficult of its kind in Tyrol! According to local residents, people have already had to be rescued... Unfortunately, there’s currently a buildup of mud and cow manure relatively near the start...

Nur bis zur kleinen Brücke (letzte vor dem Ausstieg) begangen, da sonst die Zeit zur letzten Talfahrt zu knapp gewesen wäre. Zu Beginn der Tour fast alles gesprungen. Achtung, weiter unten sind ein paar Becken dann auch zugekiest.
We only went as far as the small bridge (the last one before the exit), since otherwise we wouldn't have had enough time for the final descent. We jumped almost everything at the start of the run. Be careful—further down, a few pools have been filled with gravel.

Unglaublich beeindruckende Schlucht! Über Mittag keine wesentliche Wasserstandserhöhung. Rucksack gefunden (wem er gehört gerne bei uns melden).
An incredibly impressive canyon! No significant rise in the water level around noon. Found a backpack (if it belongs to you, please let us know).

Abfolge von interessanten Einzelstellen mit Gehpassagen dazwischen. Notausstieg an vielen Stellen möglich. Die Schlusspassage ist anspruchsvoll. Dürfte länger nicht mehr begangen worden sein - 2 Haken neu gesetzt plus 1 alternativer Abseiler hinter dem Klemmblock im Schlussteil. Rückweg in 30min geht sich nicht aus. A series of interesting sections interspersed with walking passages. Emergency exits are possible at many points. The final section is challenging. It likely hasn’t been climbed in a while—2 new anchors have been placed, plus 1 alternative rappel point behind the clamping block in the final section. It’s not possible to make the return trip in 30 minutes. Water level at Hinterrhein Schießplatz: 1.4 m³/s

Mittlerer Einstieg bei Dawaldhütte - nur ein Rinnsal an Wasser leider fast bis zum Wanderweg. Trotzdem landschaftlich immer toll. Ein Klebehaken orogr. links war umgebogen, diesen haben wir rechts neu gebohrt.
Midpoint entry at Dawaldhütte—unfortunately, just a trickle of water almost all the way to the trail. Still, the scenery is always scenic. A glued anchor on the orographic left was bent, so we drilled a new one on the right.

Alles super, guter Wasserstand, griffig zu gehen. Wir sind ein wenig früher aus der Schlucht um ein paar Meter auf der Straße zu Bodengo 2 zu überspringen

Wir haben nur den unteren Teil ab Plakette Nr.6 gemacht, hier alle Stände in super Zustand und oft doppelt vorhanden , nur die Muttern bei den Fixseilen waren z.T. lose. Beim Zustieg sind wir erst zu weit aufgestiegen, man muss wohl schon gleich am Anfang beim Wildzaun den rechten Pfad nehmen. Am Ausstieg hängt eine Wildkamera im Baum, immer schön lächeln 👍🏼
We only did the lower part from badge no. 6, here all stands were in superiore condition and often double, only the nuts on the fixed ropes were partly loose. On the access we climbed too far, you have to take the right-hand path right at the start near the game fence. At the exit there is a wildlife camera in the tree, always smile 👍🏼

Heute komplette Kronburg begangen, im oberen Teil wurden einige neue Haken gesetzt. Insgesamt gute Bedingungen, alle Stände benutzbar, eher niedriger Wasserstand. Auch wenn es warm draußen ist sollte man den dicken Neo einpacken 👍🏼
Complete Kronburg today, some new anchors were set in the upper part. Overall good conditions, all stands usable, rather low water level. Even if it's warm outside, you should pack a thick wetsuit 👍🏼

Heute bei etwas höherem Wasserstand im Vergleich zu den Bildern immer noch gut gehbar da super eingerichtet. Schöne Tour mit gemütlichem Zustieg und ein paar aquatischen Abseilern 👍🏼
Today, with a slightly higher water level compared to the pictures, it is still easy to climb as it is superiore equipped. Nice tour with comfortable access and a few aquatic rappels 👍🏼

Sehr kurze Schlucht, ideal für Einsteiger. Sicher lohnenswerter nach Regenfällen.
