Some of the trees are large. They’ve probably been there a long time. Slippery as always. One glued anchor is loose. It should be repaired. Otherwise, everything’s fine. Great climb.

Alles i.o. Wasserstand niedrig, daher konnte man stände nehmen die bei normal Wasser nicht gehen. Schöne Sprünge und tolle Rutschen.
Everything was fine. The water level was low, so we were able to try some spots that aren't possible when the water is at its normal level. Nice jumps and great slides.

Alle Stände vorhanden aber stellenweise nicht leicht zu finden. Der durch Fluss bei Mellau Messstation war bei ca. 4-5 m3. Habe mal ein Bild beim Einstieg gemacht bei wenig Wasser zum vergleichen.
All gauges are in place, but some are hard to find. The river level at the Mellau measuring station was about 4–5 m³. I took a picture at the entry when the water was low, just for comparison.

Alles soweit in Ordnung, sehr rutschig zu gehen. Einige Rutschen und kleine Sprünge machbar. Für die Gegend coole Schlucht. Fast ganz unten liegen 2 neue kleine Bäume in einem Pool drin, könnte man mit paar Leuten entfernen. Bei mehr Wasser wären die vermutlich unangenehm.
Everything's fine so far, but it's very slippery to walk on. There are a few slides and small jumps you can do. It's a cool canyon for the area. Near the very bottom, there are two new small trees lying in a pool; a few people could probably remove them. If there were more water, they'd probably be a nuisance.

Super schöne Schlucht! Zwei Tage nach stärkeren Regentagen begangen. Zustieg mit den vielen blauen Punkten und dem Folgen der Wasserleitung nach der Hütte gut auffindbar. Ziemlich rutschig.
Such a beautiful canyon! We hiked it two days after some heavy rain. The access was easy to find, thanks to the many blue markers and by following the water pipe past the cabin. It was pretty slippery.

Super Bach für Regentage, super beschrieben und tolle Aussicht. Zustieg steil aber guter Zustand + rot/blau markiert (Varianten teilweise verwirrend, danke an die Tracks). Zustieg zeitweise ausgesetzt aber es kommt ja eh ein V5… Verankerung sehr gut, teilweise aber single Point. Zwischenstand in der zweiten Wand ist im Wasser, wurde überfahren.
Super Bach for rainy days, well-described, and fantastic views. The access is steep but in good condition and marked in red and blue (some variations are confusing, so thanks to the tracks). The access is exposed in places, but there’s a V5 coming up anyway… The anchors are very good, though some are single-point. The intermediate anchor on the second wall is in the water; it was run over.

Aufgrund des regens am Vortag war der canyon in einem guten Zustand. Stellenweise rutschig. Jedoch weniger dreckig wie sonst üblich. Viele Sprünge konnten gemacht werden.
Due to the rain the day before, the canyon was in good condition. Slippery in places. But less dirty than usual. Many jumps could be made.

Stände alle i.O, trotz teils Rost. IdR Kettenstände mit Klebehaken. Ein paar Abseilstellen sind dem Felssturz zum Opfer gefallen, aber gut abkletter oder umgehbar. Rutschig wars schon. Teils sonnig mittags. Stellenweise kann man noch den ein oder anderen Haken setzen.
Stands all OK, despite some rust. IdR chain anchors with glued anchors. A few downclimbs fell victim to the rockslide, but were easy to downclimb or bypass. It was slippery. Partly sunny at noon. In places you can still set one or two anchors.

Es hat nun fast eine Woche geregnet. Der Wasserstand von Prosito Süd war am Vortrag zu viel, heute aber machbar. Wir haben den Alternativen Einstieg gewählt und sind auf etwa 1000hm eingestiegen. Der Weg orographisch rechts ist gut zu gehen, wenn auch nicht immer gut zu finden. Ganz unten sicher die Schlaufe aussenherum nehmen. Der steilere Weg zum "abkürzen" auf swiss Topo ist eher ein Wildwechsel als ein Weg. Der Weg orographisch links ist definitiv ausgesetzter und schwieriger zu gehen! Wir hatten 2h Aufstieg. Der Canyon war rutschig zu gehen. Die Haken aber gut erreichbar. Und dort war es meist griffig. Durch das rutschige gehen waren einige Abkletterstellen schwierig.
It has been raining for almost a week now. The water level of Prosito South was too much at the lecture, but doable today. We chose the alternative entry and got in at about 1000hm. The orographic path to the right is easy to follow, although not always easy to find. At the bottom, safely take the loop around the outside. The steeper path to "shorten" on the swiss topographic view is more of a game trail than a path. The orographic path on the left is definitely more exposed and more difficult to walk! We had a 2h ascent. The canyon was slippery to walk. But the anchors were easy to reach. And it was mostly grippy there. The slippery walking made some downclimbs difficult.

Sehr rutschig! Sehr wenig Wasser, trotz Regen an den Vortagen. An manchen Stellen recht viel Holz. Weg ebenso über Forststr. & Futterstelle genutzt.
Very slippery! Very little water, despite rain on the previous days. Quite a lot of wood in some places. Path also used via forest road & feeding station.

Schöne, aber extrem kurze Schlucht (man läuft länger als man in der Schlucht ist). Extrem viele Stände und Fixseile.
Beautiful, but extremely short canyon (you walk longer than you are in the canyon). Extremely many stands and fixed ropes.

Letzter Teil des Zustiegs: nach den Häusern dem Trampelpfad nach oben folgen bis zu einer Rinne, gleich nach dem ersten Einschnitt den steilen Spuren nach unten folgen, über den zweiten kleinen Einschnitt/Rinne drüber, dann den roten Punkten (schlecht sichtbar) an den Bäumen nach unten folgen. Teils auch Steinmännchen vorhanden. Haken alle ok. Beim höchsten Abseiler entweder direkt im Wasserlauf abseilen, oder den Handlauf nach oben klettern und von dort abseilen (teils im Wasser) - von diesem Stand ist der Zwischenstand auch "in Falllinie" erreichbar (es braucht keine 2 deviations, wie im Buch beschrieben).
Last part of the access: after the houses, follow the trail upwards to a chute, immediately after the first gulch follow the steep tracks downwards, cross the second small gulch, then follow the red dots (poorly visible) on the trees downwards. There are also cairns in places. Anchors all ok. At the highest rappel, either rappel directly in the watercourse, or climb up the handrail and rappel from there (partly in the water) - from this stand, the intermediate stand can also be reached "in fall line" (it does not need 2 deviations, as described in the book).

Sehr wenig Wasser, wir konnten trotzdem viel springen. Insgesamt aber eher kurz und viel Gehstrecke zwischen den Abschnitten.
Very little water, we were still able to jump a lot. Overall, however, rather short and lots of walking passages between the parts.

Tiptop, schöne abwechslungsreiche Schlucht. Seilgeländer (nach 7. Abseiler, C12) unbedingt einbauen (orographisch links, ca. 2 Meter unterhalb Stand), Seil kann sich sonst leicht im schmalen Schlitz verklemmen.
Tiptop, beautiful and varied canyon. Be sure to install a rope traverse (after the 7th rappel, C12) (orographic left, approx. 2 meters below the belay), otherwise the rope can easily get stuck in the narrow slot.
