Von Biasca fährt man Richtung Bellinzona. An der Bundesstraße bei Iragna rechts abbiegen und am großen Parkplatz am Anfang der Ortschaft (Sportplatz) parken.
From Biasca drive in the direction of Bellinzona. At the main road near Iragna turn right and park at the large parking lot at the beginning of the village (sports field).
Avvicinamento (40 min): ➜
Vom Parkplatz Richtung Ortskern/Brücke gehen. Dann links den Bach entlang --> nach dem Schranken sieht man dann auch schon den letzten Abseiler (Wasserstandkontrolle) --> an der li. Seite geht es an der Materialseilbahn vorbei --> Wanderweg hoch an der Rückseite der Häuser vorbei --> Wanderweg geht über kl. Steinbrücke --> Wegweiser --> kl. Haus --> Steinstufen mit Geländer --> Eisentor --> Kapelle --> Wanderweg folgen bis ca. 510Hm verlassen --> li. Schmaler Weg bis zum Bach runter.
From the parking lot walk in the direction of the village center/bridge. Then left along the stream --> after the barrier you can see the last rappel (water level control) --> on the left side it goes past the material ropeway --> hiking trail up past the back of the houses --> hiking trail goes over small stone bridge --> signpost --> small house --> stone steps with railing --> iron gate --> chapel --> follow hiking trail until you leave approx. 510Hm --> left narrow trail down to the stream.

Bei möglichst wenig Wasser gehen.\nBei der Abseilstelle in der ca. 15 m langen Rinne, deren Ende nicht zu sehen ist, unbedingt an der Kante rechts auf den vom ersten Abseilpunkt noch nicht erkennbaren Zwischenstand queren!\nIn der Regel wird die Begehung des unteren Abschnitts angeschlossen.
Wild and attractive canyon for experienced canyoneers. Walk with as little water as possible.\nAt the abseil point in the chute, which is about 15 m long and the end of which cannot be seen, be sure to traverse along the edge to the right to the intermediate level not yet visible from the first abseil point!\nIn general, the ascent of the lower part is connected.

Entweder vor dem letzten Abschnitt links hinaus auf den Weg und auf diesem nach unten oder später auf die Steinbrücke hinaus, falls man nicht bis zum Ende des zweiten Abschnitts gehen will.
Either before the last part turn left out onto the path and down along it, or later out onto the stone bridge if you don't want to go all the way to the exit of the second part.

Not sure the canyon is "technically demanding" compared to others. Perhaps at higher flows actively belaying is nessesary to avoid being washed over the next waterfall. The infinity pools and slippery wet granite would prove very difficult in high flows for sure. At the level I went down at, it was easy. Slides and jumps. A fixed line abseil or two. Super super good. Packed full of guests on the weekends! Picture for flow reference. It hasn't rained here in a while, so perhaps this is actually a low flow, not normal?
