Vom Autobahnkreuz (Gotthard/Bernardino) nördlich Bellinzona geht es auf der N 2 nordwärts über Claro nach Scubiago (5,5 km). In Scubiago biegt man unmittelbar vor der Brücke über den Riale di Censo von der N 2 rechts ab und erreicht nach etwa 350 m wieder den Bach. Hier gute Abstellmöglichkeit für das Auto (Jenseits der Brücke der Campingplatz "Al Censo").Man kann auch mit einem zweiten Auto über Claro auf einer Mautstraße (10 CHF - 2025) bis zum Einstieg fahren.
From the highway junction (Gotthard/Bernardino) north of Bellinzona, head north on the N 2 via Claro to Scubiago (5.5 km). In Scubiago, turn right off the N 2 just before the bridge over the Riale di Censo and after about 350 m you reach the stream again. Here you can park your car (on the other side of the bridge is the "Al Censo" campsite) and you can also take a second car via Claro on a toll road (10 CHF - 2025) to the entry point.
Avvicinamento (1 h 30): ➜
Vom Parkplatz führt ein Pfad in östlicher Richtung in den Wald hinein. Im Anstieg treffen wir dann auf einen von re. kommenden Wanderweg, dem wir weiter bergauf folgen. Auf etwa halber Höhe überqueren wir den Riale di Censo und steigen weiter in nördlicher Richtung bergauf. Wir treffen dann auf eine Straße, der wir nach re. folgen bis zum Bach (Einstieg). Alternativ mit dem Auto zum oberen Parkplatz und von dort direkt in den Bach. Die Mautstraße kostet 10,- Franken oder Euro pro Fahrzeug. Zahlbar nur in Münzen! Das untere Auto bitte auf dem Grünstreifen parken nicht auf dem Stück Teer Richtung Camping.
From the parking lot, a path leads eastwards into the forest. On the ascent we meet a hiking trail coming from the right, which we follow further uphill. About halfway up, we cross the Riale di Censo and continue uphill in a northerly direction. We then come to a road, which we follow to the right until we reach the stream (entry). Alternatively, take the car to the upper parking lot and from there directly into the stream. The toll road costs 10 francs or euros per vehicle. Payable in coins only! Please park the lower car on the grass verge, not on the tarred section towards the campsite.

14 - 16 Abseiler. Evtl. manchmal Probleme beim Seilabzug (zB bei der C65 - Umsteiger 50m/15m)). Den Schlussabseiler (C40) in die Rinne kann man durch Abseilen über die Wand rechts umgehen. Der Sprung der bei Nizzola in der Topo eingezeichnet ist existiert nicht mehr.
14 - 16 rappel. Possibly sometimes problems with the rope retrival (eg at the C65 - transfer 50m/15m)). The final rappel (C40) into the chute can be avoided by rappelling over the wall on the right. The jump that is marked in the topographic view at Nizzola no longer exists.

Superschöne abwechslungsreiche Schlucht mit Sonne. Stände alle in Ordnung und gut erreichbar. Die beiden hohen Rutschen die ersten Meter abgeseilt. Mautschranke fürs Hochshutteln mag nur Münzen (2 oder 1 €, CHF alle Münzen). Oben großer Parkplatz.
Super nice and varied canyon with sun. Stands all in order and easy to reach. The two high slides are rappelled the first few meters. The toll gate for the Hochshutteln only accepts coins (2 or 1 €, CHF all coins). Large parking lot at the top.

Toute la première partie (jusqu'au pont sur le topo Eldorado) est très aquatique. On était à vue donc on a pas passé le gros T20 mais il se faisait sans pb. On a pris cher dans la grande C55. Puis à partir de la passerelle du milieu on est quasi tout au sec sauf la dernière C40 dans une faille impressionnante où on a repris une belle douche.A noter que le débit était un peu inférieur au max du topo mais ça envoie quand même ! Mehrere Haken könnten ersetzt werden: Im hängestand der grossen Stufe und die Haken vom Schlitz fast am Ende. Sehr rutschig zu gehen, je weiter unten je rutschiger. Rutschen waren gut zu machen. Auto pro Fahrt zum oberen Parkplatz 10 CHF.
Several anchors could be replaced: In the hanging part of the big step and the anchors from the slot almost at the exit. Very slippery to walk, the further down the more slippery. Slides were good to do. Car per trip to the upper parking lot 10 CHF.

Wie schon beim ersten Mal in Censo, fand ich den Bach überbewertet. Zwei sehr coole Stellen, die 20m Rutsche am Anfang und der 40m Schlitz am Schluss, dazwischen sind halt viele besonders rutschige Abseiler.
As with the first time in Censo, I thought the stream was overrated. Two very cool places, the 20m slide at the beginning and the 40m rappel at the end, in between there are many particularly slippery rappels.
