Turn some anchors, ropes could be replaced next year.

Es hat nun fast eine Woche geregnet. Der Wasserstand von Prosito Süd war am Vortrag zu viel, heute aber machbar. Wir haben den Alternativen Einstieg gewählt und sind auf etwa 1000hm eingestiegen. Der Weg orographisch rechts ist gut zu gehen, wenn auch nicht immer gut zu finden. Ganz unten sicher die Schlaufe aussenherum nehmen. Der steilere Weg zum "abkürzen" auf swiss Topo ist eher ein Wildwechsel als ein Weg. Der Weg orographisch links ist definitiv ausgesetzter und schwieriger zu gehen! Wir hatten 2h Aufstieg. Der Canyon war rutschig zu gehen. Die Haken aber gut erreichbar. Und dort war es meist griffig. Durch das rutschige gehen waren einige Abkletterstellen schwierig.

It has been raining for almost a week now. The water level of Prosito South was too much at the lecture, but doable today. We chose the alternative entry and got in at about 1000hm. The orographic path to the right is easy to follow, although not always easy to find. At the bottom, safely take the loop around the outside. The steeper path to "shorten" on the swiss topographic view is more of a game trail than a path. The orographic path on the left is definitely more exposed and more difficult to walk! We had a 2h ascent. The canyon was slippery to walk. But the anchors were easy to reach. And it was mostly grippy there. The slippery walking made some downclimbs difficult.

Schöne, aber extrem kurze Schlucht (man läuft länger als man in der Schlucht ist). Extrem viele Stände und Fixseile.

Beautiful, but extremely short canyon (you walk longer than you are in the canyon). Extremely many stands and fixed ropes.

Sehr rutschig! Sehr wenig Wasser, trotz Regen an den Vortagen. An manchen Stellen recht viel Holz. Weg ebenso über Forststr. & Futterstelle genutzt.

Very slippery! Very little water, despite rain on the previous days. Quite a lot of wood in some places. Path also used via forest road & feeding station.

Bei 1,8 m3 eher hoher Wasserstand. Im unteren Teil ein Holzverhau mit rotem Fixseil, das recht hilfreich war. Danke dafür! Sonst alles gut, sehr schön!

Rather high water level at 1.8 m3. In the lower part a wooden shack with red fixed ropes, which was quite helpful. Thanks for that! Otherwise all good, very nice!

Nach Hochwasser viel Kies und ordentlich Durchsatz. Aber war trotzdem gut machbar. Im mittleren Teil Stände ok.

A lot of gravel and a lot of throughput after the flood. But it was still manageable. Stands in the middle section ok.

Sprung beim ersten Abseiler aktuell nicht machbar, Pool nach Hochwasser zugekiest. Ein Seilgeländer wurde weggerissen, konnten mit Totholz improvisieren, siehe Foto. Bei weniger Wasser geht’s vermutlich auch ohne. Sonst alles ok aber man sieht die Spuren vom Hochwasser und viel Kies in der Schlucht.

Jump at the first rappel currently not feasible, pool gravelled over after flooding. A rope traverse was torn away, we were able to improvise with dead wood, see photo. With less water it will probably be possible without. Otherwise everything is ok but you can see the tracks from the flood and a lot of gravel in the canyon.

Sehr wenig Wasser, wir konnten trotzdem viel springen. Insgesamt aber eher kurz und viel Gehstrecke zwischen den Abschnitten.

Very little water, we were still able to jump a lot. Overall, however, rather short and lots of walking passages between the parts.

Alles gut. Einzelne Haken locker, aber es hat ja genug. Weniger Stau als erwartet.

All good. Individual anchors loose, but enough. Less congestion than expected.

Tiptop, schöne abwechslungsreiche Schlucht. Seilgeländer (nach 7. Abseiler, C12) unbedingt einbauen (orographisch links, ca. 2 Meter unterhalb Stand), Seil kann sich sonst leicht im schmalen Schlitz verklemmen.

Tiptop, beautiful and varied canyon. Be sure to install a rope traverse (after the 7th rappel, C12) (orographic left, approx. 2 meters below the belay), otherwise the rope can easily get stuck in the narrow slot.
