Kurz aber lohnend auch wenn das Juwel des Canyons aktuell nicht begehbar ist. Ob der Zugang je wieder frei wird ist sehr fraglich. Die gesamte Schlucht ist von der Eisenbahn geprägt die sich aktuell im Bau befindet. Die Schutzmaßnahmen erscheinen entsprechend skurril.
Short but rewarding even if the jewel of the canyon is currently inaccessible. Whether access will ever be free again is very doubtful. The entire canyon is dominated by the railroad, which is currently under construction. The protective measures seem correspondingly bizarre.

Als Wintercanyon einen Extrastern. Tolle Eisformationen, alle Stände trotz Vereisung gut zugänglich.
An extra star as a winter canyon. Great ice formations, all stands easily accessible despite icing.

Dank Clarissas Tip eine fantastische Tour. Endlich mal ein vernünftiger Wasserstand. Der Zuweg beginnt schon wieder zuzuwachsen, ist aber noch zu erkennen. Den letzten Abseiler kann man entweder wie von Clarissa beschrieben vom vorletzten Wasserfall in einem Stück abseilen (über 60 Meter), dann ist man bei wenig Wind im Wasserlauf, allerdings auch in der Steinschlaglinie. Alternativ gibt es vorne an der Kante orografisch links (man muss also die Wasserlinie queren) zwei Haken. Diese liegen hinter einer kleinen Felsnase und sind entsprechend schwer zu finden. Von dort geht es gute 20 Meter zu zwei weiteren Haken, die das Seil schonen und das Abziehen deutlich erleichtern. Bei Wind seilt man hier schön in der Gischt des Wasserfalls ab. Bei Windstille eher im Trockenen. Bild 2 zeigt den letzten Wasserfall vor der 300 m Kante, Bild 1 den letzten Wasserfall von der "trockenen" Linie aus.
A fantastic tour thanks to Clarissa's tip. Finally a reasonable water level. The access route is already beginning to overgrow again, but is still recognizable. The last rappel can either be done in one piece as described by Clarissa from the penultimate waterfall (over 60 meters), then you are in the watercourse with little wind, but also in the rockfall line. Alternatively, there are two orographic anchors at the front of the edge on the left (so you have to cross the water line). These are located behind a small rock outcrop and are therefore difficult to find. From there it is a good 20 meters to two more anchors, which protect the rope and make it much easier to pull off. In windy conditions, you can rappel here in the spray of the waterfall. When there is no wind, it is more likely to be dry. Picture 2 shows the last waterfall before the 300 m edge, picture 1 shows the last waterfall from the "dry" line.

Netter unkomplizierter Canyon. Bei der langen Abseilen als Relais den Busch genutzt. Im Sommer ist der Aufstieg im Schmelztiegel sicherlich herausfordernd.
Nice uncomplicated canyon. Used the bush on the long rappel as a relay. In summer, the ascent in the Crucible is certainly challenging.

Spektakulärer Ausblick! Toller Wasserstand nach mehreren Regentagen. Für den Zustieg am besten exakt an die Fotos halten, dann klappt's. Lange Seile empfohlen, falls ein Zwischenstand übersehen wird und auch für den letzten Abseiler (konnten die Ankerpunkte nicht finden, frischer Felssturz, somit ca. C70 vom vorletzten Stand weg). Restliche Stände top. Waren um ca. 14.00 am Ausstieg, zu dieser Zeit war der Rückweg am Strand problemlos.
Spectacular view! Great water level after several days of rain. For the access, it's best to follow the photos exactly, then it works. Long ropes recommended in case an intermediate belay is overlooked and also for the last rappel (could not find the anchor points, fresh rock fall, thus approx. C70 away from the penultimate belay). Remaining belays top. Were at the exit at about 14.00, at this time the way back on the beach was easy.
