Wir sind von Meia Légua die vielen steilen Treppenstufen hochgelaufen und waren in 45 Minuten bei der Schlucht. Wir waren positiv überrascht.
We walked up the many steep steps from Meia Légua and reached the canyon in 45 minutes. We were pleasantly surprised.

We had a perfect water level. The flow was calm. The canyon itself involves a lot of walking, but it's not unpleasant. The natural surroundings make it a great trip with abseils into beautifully blue pools and wonderful walks through forests. Here and there, jumps can also be made, though technically it's not very challenging.

Wer sich Canyoning abgewöhnen möchte, darf sich das antun. Nach 6 Abseilern links hoch, wie es die geführten Touren machen.
If you want to get out of the habit of canyoning, you can do it. After 6 rappels, go up on the left, as the guided tours do.

Die ersten 4-5 Abseiler sind schön (dieser Teil wird auch geführt begangen). Danach kommt die 1. Holzverblockung und ab da ist die Schlucht, abgesehen von einzelnen Ok-Abseilern (z.T. ohne Stände), der grösste Saugraben, den ich je gemacht habe. Ewiges Laufen auf rutschigen Steinen, zwischen Dornen, umgestürzter Bäume,....
The first 4-5 rappels are nice (this part is also guided). After that comes the 1st wooden blockage and from then on, apart from a few ok rappels (some without belays), the canyon is the biggest sucking ditch I've ever done. Eternal walking on slippery stones, between thorns, fallen trees,....

Zum erstenmal auch den oberen Teil begangen und sicher nicht zum letzten mal. Wir haben bei den alten Einzelhaken immer einen zweiten dazugebohrt. Den Zwischenstand beim c55 könnten man bei Niedrigwasser mal verbessern. Wir hatten hohen Wasserstand und da war es echt lohnend die 15min raufzugehen.
This is the first time we have climbed the upper part and certainly not the last. We always added a second bolt to the old single hooks. The intermediate level at c55 could be improved at low water. We had a high water level and it was really worthwhile to walk up the 15 minutes.

This canyon is rather underrated. 16 rappels (down to the village, not quitting by the 424), quite continuous, spectacular at places, especially at the beginning. Requires lots of rain to get to form, that is true. We did it after 3 days (cca 200mm) rain, and it was fun. My only grief was the approach path that disappeared very soon (by the pylon), but the clear forest made it possible to get through. It is rather dull climb anyway, steep without rest and indeed took 1:15 to get to the top. @Georg: That thing on the picture is not an anchor but a deviation. Anchor there is a couple of metres backwards.
