Mit Fixseilen können Schlüsselstellen umgangen und entschärft werden. Highlight definitiv Schlussrutsche mit gutem Einschlag in den Gumpen.

No private access allowed. Anchor points are in good condition. A fixed rope runs from the first rappeller all the way to the core. Only glued anchors are used in the canyon. A short, pleasant canyon. With fixed ropes, key sections can be bypassed and made easier. The highlight is definitely the final slide, which lands nicely in the pool.

Ganz netter Bach, 2 Abseiler, das war's.. hierfür 4,50€ Einstiegsgebühr war es nicht Wert. Bisschen springen war ganz ok. Eignet sich wohl eher fürs kommerzielle Canyoning. Am ersten Stand R24 am linken Stand nicht den festen Karabiner nutzen, dieser verformt sich stark und wird wohl demnächst aufgeben. Lieber den rechten Kettenstand nutzen. Stand mittig am R33 ist bzgl. Kette zum abziehen ganz gut, allerdings muss von links leicht reingependelt werden. Könnte für Anfänger wohl heikel werden. Ansonsten lieber die 33m am Stück. Zwischenstand ist unnötig, außer wenn der S15 gemacht werden möchte. Der untere Teil ist ne tolle Kindertour, ansonsten bietet er eher weniger Anreiz diesen noch mitzunehmen. Stände waren generell in gutem Zustand.

Pretty nice stream, 2 rappels, that’s it… It wasn’t worth the €4.50 entry fee. The jumping was okay. It’s probably more suited for commercial canyoning. At the first belay station (R24), don’t use the fixed carabiner on the left side—it’s severely deformed and will probably give out soon. It’s better to use the right-hand chain anchor. The central chain anchor at R33 is pretty good for pulling the chain, but you have to swing in slightly from the left. That could be tricky for beginners. Otherwise, it’s better to do the 33 meters in one go. An intermediate belay is unnecessary, unless you plan to do S15. The lower section is a great route for kids; otherwise, there’s little incentive to include it. Belay stations were generally in good condition.

Beautifull alternativ canyon for Sbrici good for spring or after rain. Canyon is not so narrow as but more vertical. Almost at the end we can see a bomb from the first world war. And see some fossils in the right wall.

Da wird nur ein Fahrzeug zur Verfügung hatten, sind wir mit Bus von Dafins Wanne (Ausstieg Parkplatz unterer Abschnitt) bis Dafins Morsch gefahren, somit sind wir über den mittleren Teil eingestiegen. Seilgeländer bei C10 vorhanden und keine Verklausung bei C18 vorhanden Sonst kann ich mich der vorherigen Begehung nur anschließen.

Since we only had one vehicle available, we took the bus from Dafins Wanne (exit at the lower part parking lot) to Dafins Morsch, so we started our hike from the middle part. There is a rope traverse at C10, and no log jam at C18. Otherwise, I can only agree with the previous report.

Auch der mittlere Abschnitt ist erschreckend griffig. Wir konnten heute die Latscherrei gemütlich in knapp unter 1h machen. Bis auf zwei Verklausungen ist das Bachbett komplett frei. Anker in gutem Zustand. Insgesamt eine lohnenswerte Tour

The middle part also offers surprisingly good footing. We were able to complete the Latscherrei at a leisurely pace in just under an hour today. Except for two log jams, the streambed is completely clear. Anchors are in good condition. All in all, a worthwhile hike

Von der Bushaltestelle haben wir anschließend 15min. bis zum Einstieg gebraucht. Die Schlucht als ganzes fast schon erschreckend griffig, bis auf einzelne, natürlich, prädestiniert Stelle. Die Anker etwas älter, aber ausreichend und fürs Alter verhältnismäßig gut in Schuss. Vereinzelte leicht rostig wie auch schon in einer vorheriger Begehung beschrieben.

From the bus stop, it took us 15 minutes to reach the entry. The canyon as a whole offers almost frighteningly good grip, except for a few—naturally—predestined spots. The anchors are a bit older, but sufficient and in relatively good condition considering their age. A few are slightly rusty, as already described in a previous ascent.

Wir haben Nähe Adventurepark geparkt, ggf. wäre es besser gewesen weiter vorne zu parken und zu Fuß der Straße entlang zum Adventurepark zu gehen. Weiters kann man angeblich seine nassen Sachen vom Restaurantsbesitzer im Adventurepark beim Canyonausstieg abholen lassen. Zustieg bitte an den GPS Track halten, nach der Erreichung des Adventurparkes sollte man in 5min im Bach sein. Dann 5min Blockhüpfen bevor Schlag auf Schlag viele Abseilstellen kommen. Abseiler sind top eingerichtet und Abseilen im Wasser gefällt gut, höchste Abseilstelle 25m, Tourdauer etwa 2h. Am Ende kommen wir bei einer Brücke an, von dort aus hochlaufen bis zum Adventurepark knapp 1h. Hätten wir vorher gepart ggf. nur 40min.

We parked near the Adventure Park; it might have been better to park further ahead and walk along the road to the Adventure Park. Also, you can apparently have the restaurant owner at the Adventure Park pick up your wet gear for you at the canyon exit. Please follow the GPS track for access; once you reach the Adventure Park, you should be at the stream within 5 minutes. Then it’s 5 minutes of hopping over boulders before you hit a series of rappelling spots one after another. The rappel stations are very well set up, and rappelling in the water is a lot of fun; the highest rappel point is 25 meters, and the tour takes about 2 hours. At the exit, we arrive at a bridge; from there, it takes just under 1 hour to hike back up to the Adventure Park. If we had parked there beforehand, it might have taken only 40 minutes.

Doch ganz netter Canyon, wir sind immer der Wasserlinie gefolgt und haben dafür noch ein paar Haken gesetzt.

It was a pretty nice canyon, though; we followed the waterline the whole way and even took a few detours along the way. We also set a few anchors.

Steinmännchen beim Zustieg nicht mehr vorhanden. Sobald der Feldweg abwärts geht, ist rechts ein schmaler Trampelpfad ersichtlich. Diesem folgt man bis es hinab zum trockenen Bachbett geht. Verankerungen wo nötig vorhanden. Schön klares Wasser… sicherlich eine der schöneren Schluchten in der Gegend.

The cairns at the access are no longer there. As soon as the dirt road begins to descend, a narrow trail becomes visible on the right. Follow this trail until it leads down to the dry streambed. Anchor points are provided where necessary. Beautiful clear water… certainly one of the more beautiful canyons in the area.
