All the anchors are there; the route has been fully climbed. A few belay stations could use replacement due to very old, rusty anchors.

Haken in gutem Zustand. [bachab Herbsttreffen]
Light snowfall; the approach traverse is manageable even without crampons if you have sufficient balance and good footing. Some ice at the start; a few narrow sections at the exit, but these can be climbed over if necessary. Anchors are in good condition. Some loose rocks that may fall if touched. [from the fall meet]

Alles andere unproblematisch inkl Siphon.
Started at 4 at 2,049 m. A beautiful route, with one tricky section. After the long 120-meter pitch, there are two more 40-meter pitches. The belay station for the second 40-meter rappel is illogically placed, far to the orographic left, so that you almost have to rappel out of the watercourse right at the start and search far to the left on dry rock for the chain anchor. I was the first to rappel down the waterfall and didn’t see any anchors anywhere. You end up in a round pool with a backflow, and at the exit there’s a siphon—with our water level, it’s no problem to swim out of it, but with higher water it could be very dangerous. Especially because from there, you have zero chance of reaching the belay station. That belay is 3–4 meters up on flat rock above the canyon. If you tackle the canyon as a pair—which I wouldn’t recommend—both climbers need to be very experienced for the whole thing to work out 😅. Everything else is straightforward, including the siphon.

Eindrucksvolle Schlucht mit besten Verhältnissen. Lufttemperatur mild, Wassertemperatur überhaupt nicht kalt. Viel Sonne. Nicht rutschig. Kein Anstieg des Wassers auch unter Sonneneinstrahlung. Alle Installationen o.k. Super Team. Einfach herrlich!
An impressive canyon with ideal conditions. Mild air temperature; the water wasn't cold at all. Lots of sunshine. Not slippery. No rise in water level, even in direct sunlight. All facilities were in good working order. Great team. Simply wonderful!

We only went as far as the small bridge (the last one before the exit), since otherwise we wouldn't have had enough time for the final descent. We jumped almost everything at the start of the run. Be careful—further down, a few pools have been filled with gravel.

Abfolge von interessanten Einzelstellen mit Gehpassagen dazwischen. Notausstieg an vielen Stellen möglich.
A series of interesting sections interspersed with walking passages. Emergency exits are possible at many points. The final section is challenging. It likely hasn’t been climbed in a while—2 new anchors have been placed, plus 1 alternative rappel point behind the clamping block in the final section. It’s not possible to make the return trip in 30 minutes. Water level at Hinterrhein Schießplatz: 1.4 m³/s

Very beautiful canyon with large clear pools! Some walking passages, but you can find your way if you have an understanding of the course of the stream. Traverese ropes and anchors are all present. Slippery in places. We repeated the big slide 4 times :) Simply attach a rope on the left. No problem with the water level (medium to low, see picture of the exit)

In contrast to the upper part, the anchors in the lower part survived the storm at the exit in June 2025. On the first high rappel, we were unable to pull off the rope due to the high water level. We repeated the lower part (with significantly less water) the next day - there were no problems pulling it off.

Nach dem Unwetter Ende Juni 2025 neu eingebohrt. 2.
New bolts drilled in after the storm at the exit in June 2025. 2nd rappel with rope sling only, then new anchors (simple) wherever necessary. Everything looks like freshly concreted... Here is a link to a video. https://www.facebook.com/Valsusaoggi/videos/1111353657715182/?rdid=yg7KMPTOpOvYQUyr# If you want to save yourself the access: Romeo drives his off-road vehicle to the entry of the upper part. The best thing to do is simply call. +33 6 26 12 12 18 or +39 335 824 5390

Sehr eng eingeschnitten, beeindruckende Tour.

Ascent after 24 hours of light rain the day before. Nevertheless, the water level was not high, even in the second part. If you want to enjoy the canyon, 4 hours for the descent is rather short. (We had 6 hours with 6 people) At the exit of the second part there is a fresh hand slide, which we were able to climb through orographically on the left through a hole. However, the rock is very loose. Then continue underground along the river to the wooden ladder orog. right. All anchors top.

All anchors top, many fixed ropes available. All pools deeply washed out. We had 400 l/s, we slid the cannon tube, but someone should stand at the bottom of the pool and help with a rope to get out of the pool.
