Everything went smoothly. The water was cold, as you'd expect for this time of year, but it was still a wonderful trip.

Verglichen mit meiner letzten Tour im August 2026 war heute geschätzt etwa die dreifache Wassermenge. Abstieg an der Grenze zum sportlichen Wasserstand. Lufttemperatur zwar mild für die Jahreszeit aber eben schon herbstlich kühl. Wassertemperatur schon recht kalt. Die intensiven und kalten Duschen waren wegen dem Wasserstand nicht zu vermeiden. Achtung: Ein Reserveseil ist unbedingt empfohlen. Uns blieb zweimal ohne ersichtlichen Grund das Seil verfangen in den Granitblöcken in der Strömung. Vorsicht bei starker Strömung in den Engstellen. Der obere Abschnitt des Canyons ist gut einsehbar. Ist dieser obere Teil auch eingebohrt? Der Abstieg entlang der Wasserfälle an der Sonne hat trotzdem Spass gemacht.
Compared to my last trip in August 2026, there was roughly three times as much water today. The descent was right on the edge of what’s considered a challenging water level. The air temperature was mild for the season, but already had an autumnal chill. The water temperature was already quite cold. Due to the water level, the intense and cold showers were unavoidable. Warning: A spare rope is strongly recommended. Twice, for no apparent reason, our rope got caught in the granite boulders in the current. Be careful in strong currents in the narrow sections. The upper part of the canyon is clearly visible. Has this upper part also been bolted? The descent along the waterfalls in the sunshine was still fun.

Kurze schöne Schlucht mit nur 14 Abseilstufen. Der Wasserstand für diese Schlucht war eher niedrig, weniger Wasser gibt es offenbar nur selten. Trotzdem hat es toll gerauscht. Sportlich war der Wasserstand aber noch nicht. Die Haken sind schon älteren Datums, trotzdem in gutem Zustand. Im unteren Teil ist es so eingerichtet, dass man dem Wasser folgend abseilen kann oder seitwärts im Trockenen. Zu Beginn war es sehr rutschig. Im Dunklen Teil hatte es deutlich weniger Algen und es war dementsprechend auch kaum mehr rutschig.
A short, beautiful canyon with only 14 rappelling sections. The water level in this canyon was on the low side; apparently, it rarely gets any lower. Still, the water made a great rushing sound. However, the water level wasn’t challenging enough for a real workout. The anchors are quite old but still in good condition. In the lower section, the route is set up so that you can rappel along the water or sideways on dry ground. It was very slippery at the start. In the dark section, there was significantly less algae, so it was hardly slippery at all.

Schöne Schlucht, teilweise mit herrlicher Aussicht auf den See. Die Schlucht wurde grösstenteils neu eingerichtet mit Inox Kettenständen. Top! Nur an einigen wenigen Stellen hat es noch MonoPoints. Der unterste Teil ist dunkel und mystisch. Es gibt dort alte Mauern, Brücken und Bauwerke, voll abgefahren!
Beautiful canyon, with stunning views of the lake in some spots. Most of the canyon has been redesigned with stainless steel chain anchors. Awesome! There are still MonoPoints in just a few places. The lowest part is dark and mysterious. There are old walls, bridges, and structures there—totally awesome!

Schöne eingeschnittene Schlucht. Bietet einige schöne Rutschen und Sprünge. Achtung, alle Pools vorher kontrollieren, nicht alle sind tief genug, oder es hat Holz unter Wasser. Die Bohrhaken sind grundsätzlich i.O. Doch beim letzten hohen Anseiler (50m) hat es einen Kettenstand, links, mit drei Bohrhaken. Davon ist nur einer vertrauenswürdig. Die zwei rostigen, wackelnden Bohrhaken sollten ersetzt werden.
A beautiful, deeply carved canyon. Offers some great slides and jumps. Caution: Check all pools beforehand—not all have enough depth, or there may be wood underwater. The bolts are generally in good condition. However, at the last high belay station (50 m), there is a chain anchor on the left with three bolts. Only one of them is reliable. The two rusty, loose bolts should be replaced.

Eindrucksvolle Schlucht mit besten Verhältnissen. Lufttemperatur mild, Wassertemperatur überhaupt nicht kalt. Viel Sonne. Nicht rutschig. Kein Anstieg des Wassers auch unter Sonneneinstrahlung. Alle Installationen o.k. Super Team. Einfach herrlich!
An impressive canyon with ideal conditions. Mild air temperature; the water wasn't cold at all. Lots of sunshine. Not slippery. No rise in water level, even in direct sunlight. All facilities were in good working order. Great team. Simply wonderful!

Très belles cascades au départ. Ensuite assez horizontal, de la marche. Dernière cascade jolie.

Alle Installationen sind o.K. Schöner Abstieg bei idealen Verhältnissen. Wasserstand normal, leicht höher als üblich. Kaum rutschig.
All setups are fine. A nice descent in ideal conditions. Water level is normal, slightly higher than usual. Barely slippery.

Guter Wasserstand. Viel sauberes kühles Wasser, ist wohl noch etwas Schneeschmelze mit drin. Alle Ankerpunkte i.O. Nur wenig rutschig.
Water level is good. Plenty of clean, cool water—probably still has some snowmelt mixed in. All anchor points are in good condition. Only slightly slippery.

Guter Wasserstand in der Schlucht. Die Ausrüstung ist uneinheitlich … es gibt ein paar alte Teile. Ein Haken ist beim Abseilen ausgebrochen … Tolle Stimmung! Zum Glück hat der zweite Haken gehalten, der mit einem Stück Seil verbunden war. Es war an der Stelle mit dem Klemmblock. Ansonsten eine wirklich schöne Tour. Ein bisschen überbewertet, aber dennoch legendär. Die Schlucht hätte ein paar zusätzliche Anker-Punkte verdient, einige davon stammen wohl noch aus der Zeit der Eröffnung. Bei der nächsten Wiederholung wäre eine Bohrmaschine angebracht. In der Mitte der Schlucht gibt es eine Zone mit erhöhter Steinschlaggefahr, Vorsicht ist angebracht.
Good water level in the canyon. The gear is a mixed bag… there are a few old pieces. An anchor snapped while rappelling… Great atmosphere! Luckily, the second anchor—which was connected to a piece of rope—held. It was at the spot with the clamping block. Otherwise, a really beautiful route. A bit overrated, but still legendary. The canyon could use a few more anchor points; some of them probably date back to when it first opened. A drill would be useful the next time we do this route. In the middle of the canyon, there’s an area with an increased risk of rockfall—caution is advised.

Trockene Schlucht. Es gab einige Pools mit (Dreck) Wasser gefüllt, die nicht alle umgangen werden konnten. Wenn man aber in der Region ist, so lohnt sich ein Abstieg trotzdem. Wir sind erst nach der Queerung der Piste über den Bach steil das dornige Bort hoch ausgestiegen, kurz vor der Autobahn und dann über die Piste zurück zum Auto. Glücklicherweise gibt es in der Region einige frei zugängliche Thermalquellen, wo man sich im heissen Wasser nach der Schlucht wieder sauber baden kann.
Dry canyon. There were a few pools filled with (muddy) water, not all of which could be bypassed. But if you’re in the area, it’s still worth the hike down. After crossing the trail over the stream, we climbed steeply up the thorny slope, just before the highway, and then followed the trail back to the car. Fortunately, there are several freely accessible hot springs in the area where you can wash up in the hot water after hiking through the canyon.
