Von Turin, Frejus kommend verlassen wir die A32 über die Ausfahrt "Susa Est", durchqueren die Stadt Susa und nehmen dann die SP210 nach Novalesa. Dort angekommen nehmen wir, ohne den Rio Claretto zu queren die "Via Roma" in südöstlicher Richtung nach Sant'Anna. Bald nach den letzten Häusern von Novalesa kommen wir zur Brücke über den Rio Marderello (Parkplatz 'Cascate'). Direkt vor der Brücke links stellen wir unser Auto ab.\n\nSofern wir aus Richtung Briancon anfahren, verlassen wir die A32 über die Ausfahrt "Susa Ovest" und kommen direkt auf die SP210, die uns nach Novalesa führt
Coming from Turin, Frejus, we leave the A32 at the "Susa Est" exit, cross the town of Susa and then take the SP210 to Novalesa. Once there, without crossing the Rio Claretto, we take the "Via Roma" in a south-easterly direction to Sant'Anna. Soon after the last houses of Novalesa, we come to the bridge over the Rio Marderello (parking lot 'Cascate'). Wir kommen an den Bach, queren diesen und steigen auf einem Pfad am orograf. rechten Ufer steil aufwärts. Wir stoßen auf einen Waldweg, folgen diesem und sehen dann rechts etwas unterhalb den kleinen Ableitungskanal (ggf. Notausstiegsmöglichkeit) und kommen zu einer Alphütte ("La mojùn de paréin Steu"). Wir nehmen nun den Steig rechts hinunter in die Schlucht (Wegweiser "Tordupi") und kommen schnell zur Brücke, wo wir einsteigen.
We take the path that leads from the car towards the clearly visible final waterfall of the Claretto. We come to the stream, cross it and climb steeply on a path on the orographic right bank. We come across a forest path, follow it and then we see on the right, a little below, the small diversion channel (possibility of emergency exit if necessary) and we come to an alpine hut ("La mojùn de paréin Steu"). We now take the path on the right down into the canyon (signpost "Tordupi") and quickly reach the bridge where we enter.

11 Abseiler, zunächst kleinere Abseiler, dann die Schlussvertikale mit insgesamt 150m (23/68/60). Die (Not-) Ausstiegsmöglichkeit auf den Kanal nach rechts eröffnet sich nach dem 5./6. Abseiler und einer etwas längerer Strecke ohne Abseiler. Bei der ersten Stufe vom hohen Abseiler keinesfalls zu viel Seil in den Strahl hängen lassen, hier gibt es regelmässig Rettungsaktionen wegen steckengebliebener Canyonauten. Von einem Kettenstand links seilt man 23m mit mehreren Deviationen nach links ab um einen schmalen Sims vor dem Überhang zu erreichen (Platz für ca. 3 Personen). Vom Sims sehr ausgesetzt nach links zum eigentlichen Stand. 68m runter ins Becken und dann von links oder rechts die letzte Stufe abseilen.
11 rappels, first smaller rappels, then the final vertical with a total of 150m (23/68/60). The (emergency) exit option onto the canal to the right opens up after the 5th/6th rappel and a slightly longer section without a rappel. On the first step of the high rappel, do not leave too much rope hanging in the beam, as there are regular rescue operations here due to canyoneers getting stuck. From a chain anchor on the left, rappel 23m with several deviations to the left to reach a narrow ledge in front of the overhang (space for approx. 3 people). From the ledge, rappel very exposed to the left to the actual belay. Descend 68m into the pool and then rappel the last step from the left or right.
