19.08 British Columbia Lost Creek Patrik 2.5/5⭐ 💧
Alle Sprünge gut machbar, Pools jeweils genug tief.
All the jumps are easy to do, and the pools have enough depth. The first jump can be repeated. Since the canyon is very short and has only three jumps, it can easily be combined with Terepocki Creek.
19.08 British Columbia Terepocki Creek Patrik 3.5/5⭐ 💧
There's not much water in the region here either, so conditions are very good. All bolts are present and in good condition. It's a bit slippery right now. A worthwhile canyon—can be easily combined with Lost Creek.
We hiked the entire Kobelache trail. Everything is jumpable and slideable. You do have to be careful, though, with the gravel-filled pools. The damaged wire rope at the last waterfall has also been repaired and no longer has any dangerous protruding wires that could cut your fingers. The second-to-last slide went well, too, but you should stay in the middle—using a rope for entry if necessary.
18.08 Friuli Venezia Giulia Novarza Ivan I. 5/5⭐ 💧
Gear's all set—a beautiful canyon with low water levels. We entered via a rappel onto the trail to the right of the A2A tunnel.
18.08 Tirol Konerbach Raimund 3/5⭐ 💧
Alle verankerungen noch da. Etwas rutschig aber sonst schön wie immer.
All the anchors are still there. A little slippery, but otherwise as nice as ever.
17.08 Trentino-Alto Adige Torrente Maso Francesco Micaglio 5/5⭐ 💧
A spectacular canyon… in terms of its morphology, it’s open and not too steep… in its central section, it’s fun… with jumps and mini-slides and a bit technical… it has several handrails. Overall, it’s challenging 10-minute walk to reach the weir), which veers right along a trail; then the walk continues with a sequence of chutes in an open area. This is followed by a series of rappels, some with handrails, and several possible dives leading up to two large waterfalls; the first has a long handrail, a split route, and a possible jump from a small ledge… watch out for the turbulent pool… the second has a rappel to the right and a possible dive. Next comes a section with deep water that you can avoid by taking the trail to the right (marked by cairns) and a descent that bypasses a 15-meter pool. A final stretch with short descents—one of which features a long handrail leading into a pool—leads to the last waterfall and the final stretch of the hike. There were five of us, and it took us about 6 hours, with a few minor injuries :)
17.08 Tirol Rosengarten (Oberer) Der Insel Affe 4/5⭐ 💧
A very beautiful canyon; all sections were in good condition. We turned back during the third-to-last rappel due to rising water levels and rockfall in the stream.
17.08 British Columbia Lynn Creek Patrik 4/5⭐ 💧
Heute ziemlich gute Bedingungen angetroffen.
We found the conditions to be pretty good today. Unfortunately, the information listed online about this canyon is incorrect. After one jump and one rappel, the rangers told us to leave the canyon immediately. Exploring the canyon in any way whatsoever (including cliff jumping) is strictly prohibited. Too bad, because this canyon really has potential ;-)
17.08 Tessin Pontirone (Inferiore) Roe_Noerd 4/5⭐ 💧
The water level was on the low side for the Pontirone, and the water temperature was pleasantly refreshing—though actually a bit too high. All the anchors are in good condition. The jumps and slides are doable. The lowest part of the canyon is hardly slippery at all. Between the spot where you downclimb—where you usually pass under the water jet—and the “Run n’ Jump,” there’s a tree trunk lying across the path.
17.08 Tessin Pontirone (Superiore) Roe_Noerd 3/5⭐ 💧
We didn’t take the Pontirone superiore route, but the Pontirone med. route. The access starts from the parking lot at the exit of Pontirone inferiore and goes up through Alpe Piena. We climbed up to the edge of the forest. There is a small bench there and a signpost pointing toward the village of Pontirone. From this point on, the trail—which is slightly exposed in places—is easy to follow, even though it is rarely used. The access took 70 minutes. From the water channel that flows into the Legiuna, at coordinates 46.382494 9.002821, the route descends into the canyon via several short rappels. The final 70-meter rappel is well secured with a double hook and chain. At one belay point, approximately 7 meters up, we couldn’t find any bolts and had to improvise the rappel. I recommend bringing a drill the next time you ascend via this access. Once you reach the Legiuna, you can follow the superiore section of the Pontirone Canyon starting from the middle part. The water level was rather low for the Pontirone; the water temperature was pleasantly refreshing but actually a bit too high. The brown rocks in the canyons are somewhat slippery. All the anchors are in good condition. The jumps and slides are manageable.
17.08 Lombardia Ambria Marcello Pianezza 1/5⭐ 💧
Only 3 single bolt during the entire descent, some natural anchor are mandatory, some down climb are difficult and slippery. There are a lot of log stucked in the upper part, the slide in the second to last pool is the only interesting part.
