Access:
Am besten an der Nordseite vom Achensee parken, am Wanderparkplatz Achenkirch (47.500, 11.702)
The best place to park is on the north side of Lake Achensee, at the Achenkirch hiking parking lot (47.500, 11.702)
Approach (2 h):
Follow the signs to Kogelalm (ca. 50min). At the Kogelalm follow the ridgeline up, there is a vague path to be found. Once you reach a flatter and open area (roughly 1600 meters of elevation), start traversing to the south. Stay roughly on this elevation and you can find a small "side canyon" which lets you into the Gaisalmklamm (with a large amount of bushwhacking). Alternatively, ascend another 100 - 200m and make your way in from the top over the scree slope.

Tour (3 h):
Plenty of high rappels and nice views. The canyon starts of being very open but gets quite deep towards the end, though never extremely narrow. Crumbly limestone with old achors (2020), so bring a drill or at least an emergency drill set. Some downclimbing required if you don´t want to spend all day drilling anchors at every downclimb.

Return (1 h):
Take a quick dip in the Achensee, then either take the ferry towards Scholastika, or (cheaper and more reliable) take the Mariensteig back north.

Great fun for those that like alpine canyons with high rappels! The ascent and the way back take some effort though. Anchors (usually old single bolts) were in pretty bad shape when we were there in 2020 and in 2019.
