Begehung Bergrettung Canyoningrettungsgruppe Steiermark. Durch Revisionsarbeiten ist viel Geschiebe in den Pools, momentan sehr wenige Sprünge möglich (unbedingt vorher auschecken). Wasserstand gut.
Site inspection by the Styria Mountain Rescue Canyoning Rescue Team. Due to maintenance work, there is a lot of debris in the pools; very few jumps are currently possible (be sure to check conditions beforehand). Water level is good.

Begehung Bergrettung Steiermark Canyoningrettungsgruppe. Oberer Teil (Einstieg 1120m) absolut nicht lohnenswert - zugewachsen, viel Holz drinnen und rutschig. Im unteren Teil (Einstieg auf 890 m, Block mit Seilgeländer) ist leider auch sehr viel Holz, viele Fixseile.
Reconnaissance by the Styrian Mountain Rescue Service Canyoning Rescue Team. The upper section (entry at 1,120 m) is absolutely not worth the effort—overgrown, lots of wood inside, and slippery. In the lower section (entry at 890 m, boulder with a rope traverse), there is unfortunately also a lot of wood and many fixed ropes.

Im oberen dunklen, waldigen Teil leider etwas Holz, die Stellen kann man aber gut umgehen. Unterer, offener Teil sehr moosig aber nicht störend. Kompakter, schön ausgewaschener Fels. Mit 40m gehen sich die Abseiler tw. haarscharf aus, besser mit 50m. Alle Standplätze in sehr gutem Zustand.
In the upper, dark, wooded section, there’s unfortunately some tree trunks, but you can easily work around those spots. The lower, open section is very mossy but not a problem. Compact, beautifully weathered rock. At 40 meters, rappellers may come within a hair’s breadth of running out of rope; 50 meters is better. All belay stations are in very good condition.

Die Verklausung nach der letzten Fluchtmöglichkeit wurde entschärft, Seilgeländer und Fixseile erneuert und ein neuer Stand gebohrt (dort wo die Bandschlinge war). Becken großteils wieder frei. Insgesamt guter Zustand. Wenig Wasser in Enns, geht aber problemlos.
The obstruction after the last escape route has been cleared, the rope traverses and fixed ropes have been replaced, and a new anchor point has been drilled (where the sling used to be). The pool is mostly clear again. Overall, it’s in good condition. There’s not much water in the Enns, but it’s no problem.

Guter Wasserstand momentan im Vergleich zu den umliegenden Schluchten. Zu Beginn wurde ein Stand ergänzt und ein paar Stände verbessertt. Insgesamt ein sehr guter Allgemeinzustand und absolut lohnenswert!
Water levels are currently good compared to the surrounding canyons. At the start, one portage was added and a few others were improved. Overall, the conditions are very good, and it’s definitely worth the trip!

Alle Standplätze (bis auf Zwischenstände an den langen Abseilern) sind jetzt in einem sehr guten Zustand. Neuer Kettenstand ums Eck bei 80m Abseiler zum Wanderweg (Bessere Seilführung, bequemer Stand). Am elegantesten gehts mit mit langen Seilen (z.B. 100m+2x50m) ohne Zwischenstände (Seilabziehen kein Stress). Beschreibung aktualisiert und passt jetzt genau.
All belay stations (except for the intermediate belays on the long rappels) are now in very good condition. New chain anchor around the corner at the 80-meter rappel to the hiking trail (better rope routing, more comfortable belay station). The smoothest way to do this is with long ropes (e.g., 100 m + 2 x 50 m) without intermediate belay stations (no hassle retrieving the rope). The description has been updated and is now accurate.

Leider wenig Wasser, trotzdem schöne Tour! Die restlichen Standplätze wurden nachgebessert - momentan ist alles in einem sehr guten Zustand.
Unfortunately, there wasn't much water, but it was still a great trip! The remaining belay stations have been repaired—everything is currently in very good condition.

Leider viel Holz drinnen und rutschig. Ansonsten netter, kurzer Canyon (Besuch Falkensteineralm im vorhinein möglich). Standplätze wurde teilweise verbessert.
Unfortunately, there's a lot of wood inside and it's slippery. Otherwise, it's a nice, short canyon (you can visit the Falkensteineralm beforehand). Some of the belay stations have been improved.

Inspection as part of the coordination of the Styrian Mountain Rescue. With ascent aid (€ 230,- per rotation 4-5 persons). Upper part very cold, few or no anchors (slides/jumping mandatory). Then did the Inferiore again.

Begehung im Zuge der Koordinierung der Canyoningrettung Bergrettung Steiermark. Etwas Regen am Vormittag. Bei Kraftwerk angemeldet, 1 Std nach Einstieg SMS mit "Warning - Boggera - High danger of flash floods! EXIT!". Nach Rücksprache mit Kraftwerk noch 2 Std bis von Gelb auf Rot umgestellt wird. Daher sind wir weiter, im Mittelteil kommt ein Local Guide vorbei und macht Terror (sofort raus...) - sind dann ausgestiegen. Waren noch einige Zeit am Exit. Keine Veränderung des Wasserstands. Ansonsten alles super, keine Leute in der Schlucht.
Inspection as part of the coordination of the Styrian Mountain Rescue. Some rain in the morning. Registered at the power station, 1 hour after entry SMS with "Warning - Boggera - High danger of flash floods! EXIT!". After consultation with the power station, another 2 hours until the light changed from yellow to red. So we continued, in the middle section a local guide came by and caused terror (get out immediately...) - then we got out. Stayed at the exit for a while. No change in the water level. Otherwise everything was super, no people in the canyon.

Begehung Canyoningrettung Bergrettung Steiermark 28.06.2025 Alle Stände in Ordnung, ein Haken wurde zusätzlich gebohrt, eine lockere Mutter nachgezogen. Etwas Holz in der Schlucht aber nicht störend. Allgemeinzustand voll OK. Zustieg: nach Schranken Forststraße links folgen bis Jadgsitz, direkt dahinter geht der Steig weg. Bei den Schotterritschen tw. nicht mehr klar ersichtlich. Aktuelles Topo folgt.

General condition fully OK. Access: after the barrier follow the forest road to the left to Jadgsitz, directly behind it the path goes away. At the gravel cracks partly no longer clearly visible. Beim Abstieg vom Brucksattel in den Bruckgraben liegen ein paar Bäume über den Weg. Mehr Geschiebe in der Schlucht aufgrund der letzten Unwetter, auch ein paar unstörende Bäume sind dazugekommen. Alle Stände in Ordnung.
On the descent from the Brucksattel into the Bruckgraben, a few trees lie across the path. More debris in the canyon due to the recent storms, also a few trees have been added. All stands in order.

Begehung Canyoningrettung BR Steiermark. Felssturz kurz nach ersten Abseiler, 10m Seilgeländer führen jetzt zu einem neuen Abseilstand links 25m. Es ist etwas Holz zum "Altbestand" dazugekommen, im Vergleich zum benachbarten Bruckgraben rutschig. Die bestehenden Abseilstände wurden tw. nachgebessert, im unteren Teil sind 4 Abseiler neu eingrichtet worden (kann mann auch umgehen).
Ascent canyoning rescue BR Styria. Rockfall shortly after the first rappel, 10m rope traverse now leads to a new rappel on the left 25m. Some wood has been added to the "old stock", slippery compared to the neighboring Bruckgraben. The existing rappels have been partially improved, 4 new rappels have been set up in the lower part (can also be bypassed).

Ascent in the course of the basic course canyoning rescue of the mountain rescue Styria. All belay stations in order, two drill hooks were additionally set. Very good overall condition.
