Avvicinamento selvaggio nella meravigliosa natura di Maiorca. Scorrimento d'acqua dalla torre di roccia in poi e per tutta la forra. La maggior parte delle cascate è attrezzata con corde fisse in buono stato. Molte possibilità per tuffi e toboga. Abbiamo utilizzato la nostra corda solo sulle due verticali più alte e sulle ultime due prima del mare (non attrezzate con fittoni resinati). Siamo scesi fino al mare e utilizzato il motoscafo per il rientro a Port Soller (Sollermar: 450€ per 8 persone).

Wild approach in the beautiful nature of Mallorca. Water flow from the rock tower onward and throughout the gorge. Most of the falls are equipped with fixed ropes in good condition. Many possibilities for diving and tobogganing. We used our rope only on the two highest verticals and on the last two before the sea (not equipped with resin-bonded ropes). We went down to the sea and used the speedboat to return to Port Soller (Sollermar: 450€ for 8 people).

Gola molto profonda e scenografica, percorsa in 2h 30min per rientrare da Sa Fosca. Si tratta di un percorso avventura seguendo deboli tracce e tra enormi caos di massi che obbligano a numerose arrampicate su roccia molto unta. Nessun scorrimento d'acqua ma alcune profonde pozze da attraversare. Alcune corde fisse in cattivo stato aiutano la progressione (non è necessaria attrezzatura). Impegno fisico complessivo da non sottovalutare.

Very deep and scenic gorge, covered in 2h 30min to return from Sa Fosca. This is an adventure route following faint tracks and among huge chaos of boulders that force numerous climbs on very greasy rock. No water flow but some deep pools to cross. Some fixed ropes in poor condition aid progression (no equipment required). Overall physical commitment not to be underestimated.

Parked at Bar Else Arcs, walked a little bit back on the road till the bridge where you can find the evident old road that you can follow down to the old electric power station structure. All anchors in perfect conditions and water level very good, reported more than usual this year by locals and guides, 6h in a group of 16. Part of the group exited by the path leading back to Escorca (approx 2h), while the rest went down through Paresi (approx 2h30).

Acqua fredda e cristallina che crea pozze dai colori incredibili. Abbiamo sostituito alcune vecchie catenelle con anelli nuovi. Percorrenza 3 ore con un gruppo di 10 persone. Da qui abbiamo proseguito con il torrente Pogallo fino a Ponte Casletto.

Cold, crystal-clear water creating pools of incredible colors. We replaced some old chains with new rings. Traveled 3 hours with a group of 10 people. From here we continued with the Pogallo stream to Ponte Casletto.

Tutto in ordine, la portata d'acqua non dà alcun problema. I lunghi tratti di nuoto e di cammino sui sassi lo rendono un percorso abbastanza stancante.

All in order, the water flow gives no problem. The long stretches of swimming and walking on boulders make it quite a tiring course.

Done both the upper part (from the water captation/dam) and lower part (from the stone bridge), by using the approach path on orographic left side of the valley after crossing the stone bridge. Upper with many pools to swim and many jumps, all doable, and with all the anchor point in orders and present quite everywhere where needed. Many wonderful jumps and the toboggan of 20m. Lower part everything in order and descended the final 65 from the central double anchor with chain, present also many others. 1h45 access and 4h45 progression in a group of 3

Due calate e due tuffi in più da aggiungere alla parte alta. Abbiamo trovato circa 60 commerciali ma ci hanno fatto passare.

Two more rappels and two more dives to add to the top. We found about 60 commercial but were let through.

Entrati dall'avvicinamento in riva destra con due calate dalla bastionata di roccia. Molto continuo e qualche bel tuffo possibile. Bella la vista sulla valle e il paese.

Entered from the right bank approach with two rappels from the rock rampart. Very continuous and some nice dips possible. Nice view of the valley and village.

Percorsa anche la parte alta, bella ma la parte di cammino dopo la seconda calata è davvero tediosa. Sarebbe ideale trovare un sentiero che permetta di entrare alla terza calata. Alcuni bei tuffi e toboga possibili.

Also walked the upper part, nice but the walking part after the second rappel is really tedious. It would be ideal to find a path to enter the third rappel. Some nice dips and slides possible.

Prima calata tobogabile, ma bisogna fare attenzione poichè attualmente la pozza è poco profonda, circa fino al petto. Molto bello anche il toboga della terza calata, fatto senza problemi. Le ultime 2 pozze si sono finalmente liberate del tutto e sono perfettamente libere e tuffabili. Torrente breve ma divertente e rinfrescante

First rappel tobogable, but care must be taken as currently the puddle is shallow, about up to the chest. Third rappel toboga also very nice, done without problems. The last 2 pools have finally cleared completely and are perfectly free and plungeable. Short but fun and refreshing creek

C'è possibilità di fare navetta lasciando le macchine a valle a Cuasso al Piano, e salendo con navetta fino al cimitero comunale di cavagnano. Si raggiunge l'ingresso del torrente tramite un sentiero, senza indicazioni riguardo alla forra, la prima ora di percorrenza della forra è quasi totalmente pianeggiante quindi con poche calate importanti. L'acqua è davvero pulita fino alla confluenza con una cascata di acque grigie provenienti dal depuratore del paese sovrastante, purtroppo l'ultimo tratto di torrente, sebbene molto interessante e divertente, viene accompagnato da un incessante odore di detersivo proveniente dal depuratore. Per un gruppo da 3 persone la percorrenza è stata di circa 3 ore. Tutti gli ancoraggi in ottimo stato, solamente l'ancoraggio della prima calata è davvero scomodo. Il torrente arriva nel paese, quando si vedono le prime case l'uscita rimane sulla destra, poco prima di uno sbarramento artificiale. Vie di fuga presenti quasi ovunque uscendo tra i boschi. Ps: A metà forra c'è un mega toboga fighissimo!

There is a shuttle option by leaving cars downstream at Cuasso al Piano, and going up by shuttle to the municipal cemetery in Cavagnano. The entrance to the stream is reached via a trail, with no signs regarding the gorge; the first hour of the gorge is almost totally flat so with few major rappels. The water is really clean until the confluence with a waterfall of gray water from the sewage treatment plant of the village above, unfortunately the last stretch of the creek, although very interesting and enjoyable, is accompanied by an incessant smell of detergent coming from the sewage treatment plant. For a group of 3 people the run was about 3 hours. All anchorages in excellent condition, only the anchorage of the first rappel is really uncomfortable. The creek comes into the village, when you see the first houses the exit remains on the right, just before an artificial barrage. Escape routes present almost everywhere coming out through the woods. Ps: Halfway down the ravine there is a mega cool toboggan!

Uscita fatta in data 26/3/2024, con portata medio/alta, infatti la calata da 65 è stata piuttosto impegnativa, acqua davveero fredda, per questo siamo usciti a metà torrente al ponte dopo la quarta calata. Per il rientro seguire la traccia che dal ponte va verso il paese, a tratti passando in mezzo alle case

Outing done on 3/26/2024, with medium/high flow, in fact the rappel from 65 was quite challenging, really cold water, that's why we came out mid stream at the bridge after the fourth rappel. For the return, follow the trail from the bridge to the village, in places passing between houses
