We entered at the confluence with the Pobbie. Everything’s fine—there are pools you can dive into. We added some anchors to the drops that didn’t have any.

Molto discontinuo nella parte alta, con rare calate e qualche tuffetto. Più bello nella parte bassa, con alcuni bei tuffi e toboga. Nel complesso il torrente non compensa il lungo avvicinamento. Abbiamo proseguito nel Marona fino all'uscita prima della confluenza.

Very uneven in the upper section, with rare drops and a few small plunges. More enjoyable in the lower section, with some nice plunges and slides. Overall, the stream isn’t worth the long approach. We continued down the Marona River until the exit just before the confluence.

Accumulated wood/logs just right at the crossing of the approach path, once overcome everything clear and in order, many pools have been cleared and the hanging one even with low water can be jumped. Done also the initial part of the lower section after the bridge and the toboggan is fully doable.

Done upper and lower, anchors everything in order with cristal clear and fresh water. Right after the 50m pitch been hit by the hail and the heavy rain that covered the high and mid Maggia valley in the afternoon, we speed up cause close the the more open area of lower Tome but in a group of ten, once safe after the toboggan right under the approach bridge the canyon become impracticable (see picture for reference levels at the start of the day and after); rain up to 60mm/h sustained for 30min.
