Deep and impressive Dolomite gorge with cave like passages, some due to huge fallen boulders where we go below. A bit of a jungle feel as well. A must when in the area or when traveling on this road. We did it after Pignatte. Continued with one car, parked along the busy road. At the exit of Gola (confluence with the main river) left bank and then gently via the houses back to the road.

Recent tour that could do with a comprehensive review of the anchors and rock quality. In two locations at least i noticed cracks and hollow, fractured rock, so i reached out with a solution: one time from a tree (the rope used, was found at the entrance of the canyon, probably cut) with a ring, on the right bank. Another location a few meters back from a steel anchor, also right bank, for a stainless steel Tebylon anchor. The higher abseils have double inox anchor with chain, and on better rock. Ideally combined with for example Val di Gole, when in the area. Best to bring ropes to leave behind, a drill and a couple anchors with your critical (sun)glasses on.

Angenehme Schlucht die im Sommer ziemlich heiß werden dürfte. Nur sehr kleine Wasserpfützen. Die lange Abseilwand kann mit einem 50 m Seil problemlos durchgeseilt werden.
Pleasant canyon that gets quite hot in summer. Only very small puddles of water. The long abseil wall can be easily roped through with a 50 m rope.

Valutare attentamente dove sono posizionate alcune soste visto che in due casi abbiamo preferito integrare a distanza da dove ci sono quelli più vecchi (installati 2-3 anni fa) causa roccia evidentemente fratturata. L'ultima pozza tuffabile e ripetibile da più posizioni è un gioiello.

Waren heute bei 7 Grad Morgentemperatur diese Tour. Nette kleine Schlucht für zwischendurch. Alle Stände gut. Entweder Single 10er oder Kettenstände, ein paar mal abklettern.
Went on this tour today at 7 degrees in the morning. Nice little canyon for in between. All belays good. Either single 10s or chain anchors, downclimb a few times.

Alles tip top, bis aufs fehlende Wasser. Aber trotzdem schöne Tour, da ein richtiger Canyon mit sehr schönen und beeindruckenden Einzelstellen. Das rauslaufen zieht sich. Zum Schluss eher rechts halten. Parken nur auf den zugelassenen Stellen möglich. Ab März mit Parktiket beim Ausstieg (genau schauen). Fast alle Haken neu und aus Edelstahl.
Everything tip top, except for the lack of water. But still a beautiful tour, as it is a real canyon with very beautiful and impressive individual sections. The run out drags on. Keep to the right at the end. Parking is only possible in the authorized areas. From March with parking sticker at the exit (look carefully). Almost all anchors are new and made of stainless steel.

Aktuell kein Wasser, aber eine gewaltige und sehr schöne Schlucht. 2 Abseiler haben wir gemacht, lässt sich aber auch abklettern. Wir kamen von der Sa Fosca. Sollte man schon mitmachen, wenn man fit ist und noch genug Zeit hat.
Currently no water, but a huge and very beautiful canyon. We did 2 rappels, but it can also be downclimbed. We came from Sa Fosca. You should do it if you're fit and still have enough time.

Alles tip top. Von ganz oben gemacht bis zum Strand. Zurecht eine der schönsten Touren Europas (sofern man Dunkelheit mag). Etwas wenig Wasser aber genug zum Spaß haben. Viele Sprünge möglich.
Everything tip top. From the very top to the beach. Rightly one of the most beautiful tours in Europe (if you like darkness). Not much water but enough to have fun. Many jumps possible.
