Beeindruckender Canyon! Hatten einen Mantelriss bei einer scharfen Kante beim ersten hohen Abseiler am Ende (wo sich die Schlucht öffnet). Eis in der Schlucht. Alle Stände i.O.
Impressive canyon! Had a mantle crack on a sharp edge on the first high rappel at the exit (where the canyon opens up). Ice in the canyon. All belays ok.

Oben schon Eis neben dem Wasser, nicht angenehm zum laufen, bei den 60m unten sehr viele instabile Blöcke, da ist uns ordentlich was runter und hat direkt das Seil durchtrennt.
At the top already ice next to the water, not pleasant to walk, at the 60m below a lot of unstable blocks, something fell down and cut the rope directly.

Watch out for rockfall! The 200m abseils are extremely exposed to rockfalls.. . Topo PvD not correct for the 200m rappels. First part bolted on the right side (4 points), second part bolted on the left (2 points). Not much water and at the end loooooong walk out (around 3h). Very beautiful canyon but flashed us less then Ademit.

Check the water level at the iron bridge. Five min, from last pool. We didn’t do the canyon as it was completely dry. Would recommend to do it in Spring. The way up can be done by shuttle or walk in the bush which is well marked by cairns.

If water is flowing at the exit of the canyon it does not mean there will be any water in the canyon. Check the entry below the water capture. Would highly recommand to do it in spring (after rainfall) and with sunshine for the rocks to be at their best. Otherwise very muddy/clay canyon. Fantastic rock formations.

Wasserstand perfekt erster Stand demoliert, aber abkletterbar. Zweiter und dritter stand in einem machen (Dritter Stand nicht gefunden). Ab dann wie im Topo. Die Eiskletter Zwischenstände in sehr guten Zustand.
Perfect water level First belay demolished, but climbable. Second and third belay in one go (third belay not found). From then on as in the topographic view. The ice climbing intermediate belays in very good condition.

Zum Canyoning aktuell leider nicht so schön, falls ihr aber Holz für die nächsten 10 Winter braucht seit ihr hier genau richtig! Verankerung meisten 1×alt und 1× neu. Sehr viel Holz im canyon. Vorallem vor dem 50er und in dem offenen Teil direkt nach dem 50er. Die letzten Stellen unter den Bahnlinien besser
Unfortunately not so nice for canyoning at the moment, but if you need wood for the next 10 winters, you've come to the right place! Anchorage mostly 1×old and 1× new. Lots of wood in the canyon. Especially before the 50 and in the open part directly after the 50. The last places under the railroad lines better

Almost everywhere 2 anchors. The downclimb before the first and after the last place is very loose rock and very slippery. Could be defused at the top with 1-2 anchors The 100m section can be easily interrupted if you want. There are several ledges to be found

Ähnliche Erfahrung wie der Trip vom 19.06. Wir sind vom unteren Parkplatz der Chli Schliere gelaufen. River Right bis zum Einstieg Chli Schliere und dann über die Brücke auf die andere Seite. Hier ist ein Wanderweg auf Swiss Topo eingezeichnet über ein offenes Feld (Gärtli auf der Karte). Der Weg bis zur Alm oberhalb auf 966 ist ein Glücksspiel.
Similar experience to the trip on 19.06. We walked from the lower Chli Schliere parking lot. River Right to the Chli Schliere entry and then over the bridge to the other side. Here a hiking trail is marked on the Swiss topographic view over an open field (Gärtli on the map). The path to the alpine pasture above at 966 is a gamble.

Wir könnten einige Haken erneuern. Allerdings sind immer noch einige Haken grenzwertig oder fehlen (Abseilen von Verklausungen) Ab der hohen Straßenbrücke viele Tierreste im Canyon.
We could renew some anchors. However, some anchors are still borderline or missing (rappels from jams) From the high road bridge onwards, many animal remains in the canyon.

Wasserstand gut Alle Haken i.O Am hohen könnte man ganz unten nochmal einen zusätzlichen Haken setzen auf der gegenüberliegenden Seite, damit das abziehen der letzten Seillänge einfacher geht.

Start 8:00 bei hohem Wasserstand, ging aber bis 14:00 immer weiter zurück. Am Einstieg stellenweise sehr wenig Eis bei den Abseilern und im unteren Teil dann etwas rutschig. Beim allerletzten Abseiler fehlte der Ring und wurde von uns dann ersetzt. Ausstieg um 10:45 (siehe Bild für Wasserstand)
Start at 8:00 am with high water level, but it continued to recede until 2:00 pm. Very little ice on the rappels at the entry and then a bit slippery in the lower part. On the very last rappel the ring was missing and we replaced it. Exit at 10:45 (see picture for water level)

Den Einstieg zu finden ist nicht ganz offensichtlich. Wir haben uns durch die Latschenkiefern gekämpft und an geeigneter Stelle in die noch trockene Schotterrinne abgeseilt. Die erste Hälfte des oberen Teiles ist eher spartanisch ausgerüstet. Wer Probleme mit abklettern hat sollte hier Setzzeug mitnehmen. Der zweite Teil des oberen Teiles ist sehr gut und auch mit Klebehaken ausgerüstet.(Vermutlich gibt es hier einen Zwischeneinstieg) Der untere Teil ist auch super eingerichtet. Zu zweit in etwas unter 3 Stunden für oberen und unteren Teil
Finding the entry point is not entirely obvious. We fought our way through the mountain pines and rappelled into the still dry gravel gully at a suitable point. The first half of the upper section is rather sparsely equipped. If you have problems with downclimbing, you should take some climbing gear with you. The second part of the upper section is very good and also equipped with glued anchors (there is probably an intermediate entry point here). The lower part is also superiore equipped. Two people can complete the upper and lower sections in just under 3 hours
