Even at noon, the canyon is only partly sunny because the sun is low in the sky. Jumps and slides are doable.

Auch nach Regen noch gut zu begehen. Farbe der Becken leider eher braun-gelb als türkis wie auf den Bildern. Sehr rutschig und einige Stände daher schwer zu erreichen.
Still easy to walk on even after rain. Unfortunately, the color of the pools is more brownish-yellow than turquoise, as shown in the pictures. Very slippery, making some spots difficult to reach.

Zustiegsbeschreibung lesen - dann findet man den Einstieg easy! (Sehr gut beschrieben) Stände alle tiptop, nur Abseiler Nr. 3 befindet sich auf der or. linken Seite etwas versteckt bissi weiter hinten (nicht wie in der Topo beschrieben or. rechts). Haben den Zwischenstand beim 80m Abseiler verwendet, wir würden das nächste Mal aber vermutlich in einem Abseilen ohne Zwischenstand. Sehr warmes Wasser :)
Read the approach description—then you’ll find the entry easily! (Very well described) All belay stations are in top shape; only rappel station #3 is a bit hidden on the left side, a little further back (not on the right as described in the topographic view). We used the intermediate belay on the 80-meter rappel, but next time we’d probably do it in a single rappel without an intermediate belay. Very warm water :)

Sehr schöne Schlucht, aber auch unglaublich rutschig! Stände alle gut. Haben uns überall abgeseilt, wos ging und sind nicht gesprungen. Sprünge sollten aber tief genug sein. Mit 2x60m Seilen geht sich der letzte Abseiler genau so aus.
A really beautiful canyon, but also incredibly slippery! All the belays were solid. We rappelled down wherever we could and didn't jump. But any jumps should be deep enough. With two 60-meter ropes, the last person to rappel will have just enough rope.

Alles tip top, schöne Schlucht. Sind unerwartet ins Gewitter gekommen, beim Abseiler Nr. 9 kann man sich jedoch gut unterstellen und abwarten/besprechen, ohne dass einem die Steine/Bäume, etc. um die Ohren fliegen. Mögliche Sprünge teilweise seicht, haben uns die meiste Zeit abgeseilt, wo es ging.
Everything was great—beautiful canyon. We unexpectedly got caught in a thunderstorm, but at rappel point No. 9, there’s a good spot to take shelter and wait it out or discuss the situation without rocks, trees, etc., flying around our heads. Some of the potential jumps were shallow, so we rappelled most of the way whenever possible.

Von 03.08. auf 04.08. mit Stirnlampen in der Nacht begangen. Dafür eignet sich die Schlucht sehr gut. Haben ca. um 1Uhr früh den Zustieg begonnen. Stände alle ok.
We hiked through the canyon at night from August 3 to August 4, using headlamps. The canyon is ideal for this. We started the access around 1 a.m. All belay stations were in good condition.

Alles in Ordnung. Das tot Tier riechts man anfangs immer noch. Die Fella hat wenig Wasser, wir sind trotzdem bis zum Ausstieg geschwommen, haben jetzt halt paar blaue Flecken mehr ;)
Everything's fine. You can still smell the dead animal at first. The lake doesn't have much water, but we swam all the way to the exit anyway—we just have a few more bruises now ;)

Sind den unteren Teil begangen. Stände alle i.O. (bzgl letztem Kommentar zum Stand beim Baggerwrack - es gibt orgr. rechts noch einen ohne Absturzgefahr). Becken sind nicht alle tief genug zum springen!
We checked out the lower section. Everything was fine (regarding the last comment about the spot near the excavator wreck—there’s actually another one to the right with no risk of falling). Not all of the pools have enough depth to jump!

Stände ok (es gibt häufig ältere und neuere Varianten, die gut sichtbar sind), sehr rutschig und im letzten Teil etwas längere Wartezeiten aufgrund von kommerziellen Touren.
The runs are okay (there are often older and newer sections that are clearly visible), very slippery, and there are slightly longer wait times in the last section due to commercial tours.

Nette, kurze und rutschige Tour. Anfangs lange Gehstrecke, bevor man zur Grotte kommt. Viele Fixseile vorhanden und im guten Zustand, Stände ebenfalls. Stirnlampe für Grotte notwendig! In der Grotte ist ein Fixseil für eine Seilbahn gespannt. Man kann gut beim Ein-und Ausstieg parken. Abseiler von der Brücke (Einstieg) entlohnt die darauffolgende Gehstrecke :)
A nice, short, and slippery route. There’s a long walking passage at the beginning before you reach the cave. There are plenty of fixed ropes, all in good condition, as are the belay stations. A headlamp is required for the cave! Inside the cave, a fixed rope is strung up for a zip line. There’s plenty of parking available at the entry and exit points. Rappelling down from the bridge (entry) makes the subsequent walking passages well worth it :)

Rutschige Angelegenheit mit teilweise ausgetzten Ständen - Seilgeländer empfiehlt sich. Schönes Panorama und gut kombinierbar mit der kurzen Tour inkl. Grotte (Massanglia). Beim Shutteln dauert eine Fahrtrichtung mind. 30 min. Straße ist sehr serpentinenreich. In der Links-Kurve nach den Koordinaten (Parkplatz Zustieg) kann man gut parken (2 Autos). 100m darunter führt eine Forststraße in wenigen Minuten zu einer Brücke --> Einstieg (dann hat man 14 Abseiler).
Slippery conditions with some worn-out steps—a rope traverse is recommended. Beautiful panoramic views and easily combined with the short hike that includes the grotto (Massanglia). By shuttle, a one-way trip takes at least 30 minutes. The road has many switchbacks. There’s a good place to park (for 2 cars) in the left-hand bend after the coordinates (parking lot at the access). 100 meters below that, a forest road leads to a bridge in just a few minutes --> entry (from there, there are 14 rappels).

Sehr schöne, eindrucksvolle, abwechslungsreiche Tour. Stände alle in Ordnung. Zustieg über den Pilgerweg (stufiger Weg mitten im Ort) möglich, Dauer ca. 1:45Std. Einstieg Pilgerweg: 45.643792°, 10.872427°; hier 45.647306°, 10.861041° den Weg nach rechts "unten" nehmen und fast in der Ebene zum Einstieg queren. Nach ca. 20min. kommt man zu einer Hängebrücke, diese überqueren und nach ca. 100m kann man gut ins Bachbett einsteigen. Auto parkt man am besten beim Kraftwerk. Wir haben Sup. und Inf. gemacht, beide Teile sehr schön, wobei der Inf. kein muss ist. Als Alternative zum Wanderweg zurück zum Auto jedoch ganz nett.
Very beautiful, impressive, and varied hike. All trail markers are in good condition. Access is possible via the Pilgrim’s Trail (a stepped path through the center of town); duration: approx. 1:45 hours. Entry on the Pilgrim’s Trail: 45.643792°, 10.872427°; at this point (45.647306°, 10.861041°), take the path to the right “downhill” and cross almost level to the entry. After about 20 minutes, you’ll reach a suspension bridge; cross it, and after about 100 meters, you can easily enter the streambed. It’s best to park your car at the power plant. We did both the superiore and inferiore sections; both were very beautiful, though the inferiore section isn’t a must. It’s a nice alternative to the hiking trail back to the car, though.

ACHTUNG: Begehungen müssen im voraus beim Tourismusbüro Tignale angemeldet werden (info@tignale.org oder telefonsich unter 339.1251674). Wir sind am Parkplatz von der Polizei "erwischt" worden und mussten 50eur Strafe zahlen. (Eigentlich wären es 50eur/Person lt. Polizei). Angebliche Begehungskosten bei Anmeldung 2eur/Person. Stände, Fixseile, etc. alles in Ordnung, schöne Tour, zurzeit wenig Wasser.
ATTENTION: Hikes must be registered in advance with the Tignale Tourist Office (info@tignale.org or by phone at 339.1251674). We were "caught" by the police at the parking lot and had to pay a 50-euro fine. (Actually, it would have been 50 euros per person, according to the police.) The supposed inspection fee upon registration is 2 euros per person. Anchors, fixed ropes, etc.—everything is in good condition; it’s a beautiful route, though there’s not much water at the moment.

Spektakulärer Ausblick! Toller Wasserstand nach mehreren Regentagen. Für den Zustieg am besten exakt an die Fotos halten, dann klappt's. Lange Seile empfohlen, falls ein Zwischenstand übersehen wird und auch für den letzten Abseiler (konnten die Ankerpunkte nicht finden, frischer Felssturz, somit ca. C70 vom vorletzten Stand weg). Restliche Stände top. Waren um ca. 14.00 am Ausstieg, zu dieser Zeit war der Rückweg am Strand problemlos.
Spectacular view! Great water level after several days of rain. For the access, it's best to follow the photos exactly, then it works. Long ropes recommended in case an intermediate belay is overlooked and also for the last rappel (could not find the anchor points, fresh rock fall, thus approx. C70 away from the penultimate belay). Remaining belays top. Were at the exit at about 14.00, at this time the way back on the beach was easy.

Der beschädigte Stand kann ausgelassen und von oben in einem durch abgeseilt werden. Restliche Stände siehe Kommentar Mitch. Leider wieder sehr viel Müll im Bach... Das "Segnes-Feeling" am Ausstieg entschädigt etwas dafür - sehr humorvolle Beschreibung :D
The damaged stance can be left out and rappelled from above in one go. For the remaining stands, see Mitch's comment. Unfortunately again a lot of garbage in the stream... The "Segnes feeling" at the exit makes up for it somewhat - very humorous description :D

Sehr kurz und leider viel Müll in der Schlucht. Sonst ist der hohe Wasserfall nach Regenfällen schon spaßig. Sind in einem durch abgeseilt, ging leicht zum abziehen.
Very short and unfortunately a lot of garbage in the canyon. Otherwise the high waterfall is fun after rainfall. We rappelled through in one, it was easy to pull off.

Nach Regen und Sturm begangen, viel Wasser beim Abseilen, in den Becken jedoch nie Wassergefahr. Ein paar Haken könnte die Schlucht noch gebrauchen. Alle vorhandenen Haken aber in gutem Zustand.
After rain and storm, a lot of water during rappel, but never water danger in the basins. The canyon could do with a few more anchors. All anchors are in good condition.

Wasserstand war relativ hoch, Foto vom Wasserstand am Anfang unter der Brücke. Trotzdem gut begehbar, bei den meisten Fällen musste man bis zu Kante trittsicher und überlegt gehen, danach war man hinter dem Wasserfall beim Abseilen. Extrem aufpassen auf Steinschlag!! Bei diesem hohen Wasserstand spülte es bei manchen Abseilern im Sekundentakt Steine hinunter, die durch den Wasserdruck weit hinausgeschossen wurden!
The water level was relatively high, photo of the water level at the beginning under the bridge. Nevertheless, it was easy to walk, in most cases you had to be sure-footed and deliberate up to the edge, then you were behind the waterfall when rappelling. Be extremely careful of falling rocks! At this high water level, some rappelers were flushed down with stones every second, which were shot far out by the water pressure!
