Es hat etwa 30cm Schnee. Für Zustieg und Schlucht sind Grödel nötig. Alle Stände sind trotz Eis gut erreichbar. Hat Spass gemacht 😜 Zum Hochfahren Ketten mitnehmen.

There is about 30cm of snow. Grödel poles are required for access and canyons. All stands are easily accessible despite the ice. It was fun 😜 Take chains with you for the ascent.

Beautiful trip, good and fun water level today, equipment ok.

Bolts adequate. Some monos and some bolts are up for replacement. Very slippery. With a team of three the descent took 1h40m. Photo of the last waterfall; the photo on the right is of the day of descent.

Toll (EUR 8) can be paid in cash or card. -5 °C at start. Most rocks covered in ice, but no solids ice in the pools yet. Anchors ok, except at the C13 halfway (under the walk bridges). Both monopoints look quite damaged. Top one (oldest) is loose. We used the lower one (which is bent as well). All other descents without problems. Bassin at exit is frozen (2 cm ice). Ein sehr selten begehbarer Canyon. Es gibt meist nur ein kurzes Zeitfenster, in welchem Profis hier eine Canyoningtour wagen können. Der Rosenlaui ist ein sehr schöner und absolut lohnenswerter Canyon. Es ist eine sehr kurze Tour. Das Wasser ist frisch, lange Wartezeiten sind hier nicht empfehlenswert. Der Zustand der Haken ist stellenweise grenzwertig. Der Canyon ist eng und tief, es wird auch kurz relativ dunkel - meine Stirnlampe habe ich nur zum Fotografieren benutzt. Wir hatten ein 30m und ein 55m Seil dabei - mit dem 55 Meter Seil sind wir überall problemlos am doppelstrang herrunter gekommen. Hinweis zum "kurzen Zeitfenster": Es ist eine für Touristen erschlossene Schlucht. Während der Saison ist Canyoning verboten. Wir waren kurz nach Saisonende im Rosenlaui. Wenige Tage später wollten wir ein zweites mal zum Rosenlaui. Wir haben den 2. A very rarely accessible canyon. There is usually only a short time window in which professionals can attempt a canyoning tour here. The Rosenlaui is a very beautiful and absolutely worthwhile canyon. It is a very short tour. The water is fresh and long waiting times are not recommended. The condition of the anchors is borderline in places. The canyon is narrow and deep, it also gets relatively dark for a short time - I only used my headlamp to take photos. We had a 30m and a 55m rope with us - with the 55 meter rope we got down everywhere on the double line without any problems. Note on the "short time window": It is a canyon that is open to tourists. Canyoning is prohibited during the season. We were in Rosenlaui shortly after the end of the season. A few days later, we wanted to go to Rosenlaui a second time. We abandoned the second attempt on the approach at -8°C, as the road was already completely iced over and it was impossible to make any progress.
