From Lamia in the direction of Gorgopotamos and continue on the road "Epar. Od.Lamias-Pavlianis" to Dio Vouna. Lower parking lot: Approx. 1km before the first houses of Dio Vouna, a dirt road branches off to the north in the 90° bend. Follow this dirt road for 530m until you reach a junction with another dirt road (on the left). Park here or continue along the dirt road heading west from the junction with a 4x4 vehicle until you reach the canyon exit. Upper parking lot: Drive through Dio Vouna and turn onto the gravel road at 38.797652° 22.380320°. Follow the gravel road for 12.3 km in some serpentines up to 38.789554° 22.329500°. Park here or turn north with a 4x4 vehicle and follow the road to 38.801690° 22.340738°.

Access from the 4x4 parking lot in 10min on a barely visible path down into the streambed. Without four-wheel drive, access is 30 minutes longer.

35 abseiling sections (mostly NIRO chains) alternate with short turbulent whitewater sections. Nevertheless, it is essential that you take a float kit with you! Calorie-rich food is essential here. The water here is colder than you would expect in Greece.

Relais hors crue, pas toujours évidents. Une trousse de réequipement peut-être un plus.La 2ème cascades de 82 se fractionne, le relais a 40m en rd n'est pas évident. Prévoir quand même une corde de 80m.Très belle descente, fait en 7h a 6.La bière fait plus que plaisir à la fin ! One waterfall has changed from 17 m to 35 m and after there is a section with new boulders from a landslide. The rest is mostly unchanged, some pools are not deep as before the big storm of 2020.
