very fun and beautiful canyon. Very cold, there was snow in the valley and the canyon had to be done with gloves and very thick wetsuit. We could not stay in the waterford long. Tobogans are very fun and anchoring is ok but not placed professionally (hooks not deep enough) . We called the dam and they didn’t really understood what we were going to do but that there were no water releases that day.

nice canyon with beautiful view of the valley! Anchoring is ok, we places a new hook half way an rappel (river right) , the previous hooks can not be used due to water damage. Very cold water at this time of the year

Amazing tour, so beautiful!!! Long walk but not difficult, we did it in 2 hours. canyon is very narrow and I would recommend it for every one. We where in a group of 7 and completed the canyon in 2,5/3 hours. Anchoring most are mono point but very good to spot and some high water anchors aswell. The water at the end was 3x more than the beginning, with high water can be very challenging.

First abseil: Two bolts, river left. The line’s wet — obviously — but you can dodge most of the waterfall if you sneak underneath it. Then a big dive to cross the main flow and the eddy. The first person needs to make it. Otherwise the water will crush you in halve. We used a releasable setup and pulled the rope at the same time to help those “not-so-graceful” jumpers out of the water. You’ll need at least 75 meters of rope for this. For the last person we used a releasable setup from below. Second abseil: Dry start from a tree, river right. You skip the current entirely. A lazy option, it works. Third abseil: Another dry start from a tree, followed by an easy dive right into the main flow. Let the water taxi carry you to the exit, first-class service, no tip required. Fourth abseil: Anchor from the middle, technical abseil, no room for slip-ups (literally). We placed a deviation halfway down to make life easier. Use a retrievable deviation if you don’t want to donate gear to the canyon. There’s currently a bolt with a ring in place. Fifth rappel: Can be done in a few ways. We split it into two pitches. Used the anchor on river right, two points, then the single bolt furthest from the main line. Then came the fun part: stepping over the upright tree to dodge the siphon. Both descents are a bit technical — just enough to keep things interesting. Final abseil: Dry, chill, and a nice way to finish. Great little adventure. Scouted it in the morning, ran the advanced course in the afternoon. 3 rules for the canyon with this flow. 1: Dive over the sketch shit on the first abseil. There is a grippy place at the bottom where you can launch your dive from. 2: don't slip into the narrow part on abseil 4. 3: Dodge the siphon

High water today! Dangerous in a lot of places. Only go with a good team, perfect ( recent) knowledge of the canyon, a drill and floating bags. If you're not really confident in high water, it's better to turn around.

We accessed the canyon, through the escape just before "Cascade del Mort" the Approach is then around 1h15 minutes. The last anchor needs to be replaced. The 2nd to last anchor can use some maillons and a new rope.

Very unique canyon!! amazing experience. Cold water and the water level was DC+, the water dubbels in the second part of the canyon. Anchoring is amazing! If you don’t find a good anchor, look again because at every rappel is a good anchors with most of the time two points and a chain. Finding the second part is easy if you follow the water and go in at the orange/yellow reflector on the tree ( it is very small and on left side on a path) We tried calling the dam but they didn’t answer. the phone number we called: +39 0342 451260

Very dangerous last part of the approach, very exposed ( Do not recommend after rain!). due to trees that have fallen it is more difficult to access canyon. Canyon it self is amazing and beautiful! Anchors are “self made” mono points but are ok! Very fun rappelling canyon with some small jumps possible after checking!

We walked from the village casenda to the canyon, this took us approx 1.5 hours. The canyon is all good, water levels are debit correct and anchoring is amazing! Great canyon!

3 times during guide training course. We replaced the safty lines with a new rope. The access was slippery after the rain. We did some maintenance on the approach. So you can go through the bush again. Don't pass the sign with private property please. Thankyou!

Good trip, all the bolt are okey. We used the normal entrence, a little more water then normal but not high. See my other post for more water levels. The way through the bush is not nice at the moment. It's good to bring some scissor to cut it a little. Thanks!

The canyon has some beautiful parts. In some places slides and jumps are possible. There are enough anchors to get through. But we used some human anchors to check the pools. Information needs a update, see descante canyon for all the important information. - Parking at the school is not allowed. - If you use the shuttle, then park on the right place. (Big parking next to the D921) it's forbidden to park at the Chem. de Bagne - The lower parking is in front of a church, and in the middle of a village, please be respectful and friendly. You can find more information on Descante Canyon.

Anchors can use some attention. Bring some webbing and maillons. You probably want to use the shuttle. Otherwise it's not worth the effort.
