Sehr schöne, lohnende Tour. Wir hatten wenig Wasserstand. Recht rutschig. Einer der letzten Abseiler (3. glaube ich) eher schlecht abgesichert (nur ein einzelner alter Haken). Haben leider unser Garmin inreach mini 2 verloren. (Rot) wenn es jemand findet, bitte unter Cesser@zista.at melden. Danke ☺️

A very beautiful, rewarding hike. The water level was low. It was quite slippery. One of the last rappellers (the third, I think) was rather poorly secured (just a single old anchor). Unfortunately, we lost our Garmin InReach Mini 2. (Red) If anyone finds it, please contact us at Cesser@zista.at. Thanks ☺️

Alles in Ordnung. Das tot Tier riechts man anfangs immer noch. Die Fella hat wenig Wasser, wir sind trotzdem bis zum Ausstieg geschwommen, haben jetzt halt paar blaue Flecken mehr ;)

Everything's fine. You can still smell the dead animal at first. The lake doesn't have much water, but we swam all the way to the exit anyway—we just have a few more bruises now ;)

Von 03.08. auf 04.08. mit Stirnlampen in der Nacht begangen. Dafür eignet sich die Schlucht sehr gut. Haben ca. um 1Uhr früh den Zustieg begonnen. Stände alle ok.

We hiked through the canyon at night from August 3 to August 4, using headlamps. The canyon is ideal for this. We started the access around 1 a.m. All belay stations were in good condition.

Rutschige Angelegenheit mit teilweise ausgetzten Ständen - Seilgeländer empfiehlt sich. Schönes Panorama und gut kombinierbar mit der kurzen Tour inkl. Grotte (Massanglia). Beim Shutteln dauert eine Fahrtrichtung mind. 30 min. Straße ist sehr serpentinenreich. In der Links-Kurve nach den Koordinaten (Parkplatz Zustieg) kann man gut parken (2 Autos). 100m darunter führt eine Forststraße in wenigen Minuten zu einer Brücke --> Einstieg (dann hat man 14 Abseiler).

Slippery conditions with some worn-out steps—a rope traverse is recommended. Beautiful panoramic views and easily combined with the short hike that includes the grotto (Massanglia). By shuttle, a one-way trip takes at least 30 minutes. The road has many switchbacks. There’s a good place to park (for 2 cars) in the left-hand bend after the coordinates (parking lot at the access). 100 meters below that, a forest road leads to a bridge in just a few minutes --> entry (from there, there are 14 rappels).

Nette, kurze und rutschige Tour. Anfangs lange Gehstrecke, bevor man zur Grotte kommt. Viele Fixseile vorhanden und im guten Zustand, Stände ebenfalls. Stirnlampe für Grotte notwendig! In der Grotte ist ein Fixseil für eine Seilbahn gespannt. Man kann gut beim Ein-und Ausstieg parken. Abseiler von der Brücke (Einstieg) entlohnt die darauffolgende Gehstrecke :)

A nice, short, and slippery route. There’s a long walking passage at the beginning before you reach the cave. There are plenty of fixed ropes, all in good condition, as are the belay stations. A headlamp is required for the cave! Inside the cave, a fixed rope is strung up for a zip line. There’s plenty of parking available at the entry and exit points. Rappelling down from the bridge (entry) makes the subsequent walking passages well worth it :)

Sehr schöne, eindrucksvolle, abwechslungsreiche Tour. Stände alle in Ordnung. Zustieg über den Pilgerweg (stufiger Weg mitten im Ort) möglich, Dauer ca. 1:45Std. Einstieg Pilgerweg: 45.643792°, 10.872427°; hier 45.647306°, 10.861041° den Weg nach rechts "unten" nehmen und fast in der Ebene zum Einstieg queren. Nach ca. 20min. kommt man zu einer Hängebrücke, diese überqueren und nach ca. 100m kann man gut ins Bachbett einsteigen. Auto parkt man am besten beim Kraftwerk. Wir haben Sup. und Inf. gemacht, beide Teile sehr schön, wobei der Inf. kein muss ist. Als Alternative zum Wanderweg zurück zum Auto jedoch ganz nett.

Very beautiful, impressive, and varied hike. All trail markers are in good condition. Access is possible via the Pilgrim’s Trail (a stepped path through the center of town); duration: approx. 1:45 hours. Entry on the Pilgrim’s Trail: 45.643792°, 10.872427°; at this point (45.647306°, 10.861041°), take the path to the right “downhill” and cross almost level to the entry. After about 20 minutes, you’ll reach a suspension bridge; cross it, and after about 100 meters, you can easily enter the streambed. It’s best to park your car at the power plant. We did both the superiore and inferiore sections; both were very beautiful, though the inferiore section isn’t a must. It’s a nice alternative to the hiking trail back to the car, though.

ACHTUNG: Begehungen müssen im voraus beim Tourismusbüro Tignale angemeldet werden (info@tignale.org oder telefonsich unter 339.1251674). Wir sind am Parkplatz von der Polizei "erwischt" worden und mussten 50eur Strafe zahlen. (Eigentlich wären es 50eur/Person lt. Polizei). Angebliche Begehungskosten bei Anmeldung 2eur/Person. Stände, Fixseile, etc. alles in Ordnung, schöne Tour, zurzeit wenig Wasser.

ATTENTION: Hikes must be registered in advance with the Tignale Tourist Office (info@tignale.org or by phone at 339.1251674). We were "caught" by the police at the parking lot and had to pay a 50-euro fine. (Actually, it would have been 50 euros per person, according to the police.) The supposed inspection fee upon registration is 2 euros per person. Anchors, fixed ropes, etc.—everything is in good condition; it’s a beautiful route, though there’s not much water at the moment.
