I’ve climbed all 3 sections. It’s noticeably smoother again in the tricky spots, even though the stream had surprisingly good grip this year. Everything’s fine in the lower section. The S3 jump isn’t doable!

Alle 3 Teile begangen. An neuralgischen Stellen wird es spürbar wieder glatter, obwohl der Bach dieses Jahr erstaunlich griffig war. Schöner Einstieg mit 53m Wasserfall. Die folgenden Abseilstellen ohne große Laufstrecke, mit teilweise ungünstigen Seilführungen. Ein Fixseil mit einem Schleiknoten (ungesichert!) festgemacht. Ich würde dringend davon abraten dieses zum Abseilen zu verwenden. Das Seil ist ohnehin 3m zu kurz und das Becken nicht tief! Ansonsten zieht sich die anschließende Laufstrecke ziemlich..
Completed all 3 sections. In critical spots, the surface becomes noticeably smoother again, even though the stream had surprisingly good traction this year. Nice entry with a 53-meter waterfall. The following rappelling sections don’t require much walking, though the rope routing is sometimes awkward. A fixed rope is secured with a slipknot (unsecured!). I would strongly advise against using this for rappelling. The rope is already 3 meters too short, and the pool doesn’t have enough depth! Otherwise, the subsequent run stretches on quite a bit...

I’ve completed all three sections. In the tricky spots, the surface is noticeably smoother again, even though the stream had surprisingly good traction this year. So far, nothing out of the ordinary in the upper section.

Wieder etwas mehr Wasser, aber immer noch sehr niedrig. Kochtopf mittlerweile teils stärker Bodenkontakt beim Rutschen. Alles andere wie immer i.O.
A little more water again, but it's still very low. The pot is now sometimes making more contact with the bottom when it slides. Everything else is fine, as usual.

Erste 3 Abseilstellen können abgeklettert werden. Bach aktuell sehr rutschig. Letzter Stand nur über Seilsicherung erreichbar. Exaktes nachmessen ergab eine aktuelle Höhe von 48m bedingt durch Felssturz. Um besser abziehen zu können sollte 2x60m absolut ausreichend. Rückweg aktuell sehr durchzogen mit Dornen.
The first three rappelling points can be downclimbed. The stream is currently very slippery. The last belay station is accessible only via a rope belay. Precise measurements revealed a current height of 48 meters due to a rockfall. To ensure a smooth descent, 2x60 meters should be more than enough. The return route is currently heavily overgrown with thorns.

Nach Jungle's End eingestiegen. Unverändert zu gestriger Begehung. Wasser wird fortlaufend weniger. Viele kommerzielle am Wochenende im Bach. Einfach durch Abklettern oder alternatives Abseilen überholen.
Started at Jungle's End. No changes from yesterday's climb. Water levels are steadily dropping. Lots of commercial climbers in the creek on the weekend. You can easily pass them by downclimbing or rappelling.

Aktueller Wasserstand 0,14m³ in der Enz. Merlin alles spring- und rutschbar. Vorsicht im Kochtopf, Wassertiefe nur noch ca. 1,70m. Schweizer Bobbahn muss nass gemacht werden, fließt kein Wasser mehr drüber. S7 und S6 vor Ende Merlin machbar. Nur S3 beim Einstieg Känguru möglich. Becken zugekiest. Schlussrutsche wegen Baum nicht machbar. Lieber S6 oder S13 über der Rutsche vom Block. Vorsicht unterer Teil rutschig.
Current water level: 0.14 m³ in the Enz. Merlin is fully jumpable and slideable. Caution in the “Kochtopf”—water depth is now only about 1.70 m. The Swiss Bob Track needs to be wetted; water is no longer flowing over it. S7 and S6 are doable before the Merlin exit. Only S3 is possible at the “Kangaroo” entry. The pool is filled with gravel. The final slide is not doable due to a tree. It’s better to take S6 or S13 over the slide from the boulder. Caution: the lower section is slippery.

Wunderschöne Schlucht ein Must-Have in der Region. Leider fehlte etwas Wasser, dass zwei potenzielle Sprünge nicht möglich waren.
A beautiful canyon—a must-see in the region. Unfortunately, there wasn't quite enough water, so we couldn't take two potential jumps.

Keine Privatbegehungen möglich. Stände gut in Schuss. Ein Fixseil am ersten Abseiler bis zum Kern durch. Ausschließlich Klebehaken in der Schlucht. Kurze nette Schlucht. Mit Fixseilen können Schlüsselstellen umgangen und entschärft werden. Highlight definitiv Schlussrutsche mit gutem Einschlag in den Gumpen.
No private access allowed. Anchor points are in good condition. A fixed rope runs from the first rappeller all the way to the core. Only glued anchors are used in the canyon. A short, pleasant canyon. With fixed ropes, key sections can be bypassed and made easier. The highlight is definitely the final slide, which lands nicely in the pool.

Ganz netter Bach, 2 Abseiler, das war's.. hierfür 4,50€ Einstiegsgebühr war es nicht Wert. Bisschen springen war ganz ok. Eignet sich wohl eher fürs kommerzielle Canyoning. Am ersten Stand R24 am linken Stand nicht den festen Karabiner nutzen, dieser verformt sich stark und wird wohl demnächst aufgeben. Lieber den rechten Kettenstand nutzen. Stand mittig am R33 ist bzgl. Kette zum abziehen ganz gut, allerdings muss von links leicht reingependelt werden. Könnte für Anfänger wohl heikel werden. Ansonsten lieber die 33m am Stück. Zwischenstand ist unnötig, außer wenn der S15 gemacht werden möchte. Der untere Teil ist ne tolle Kindertour, ansonsten bietet er eher weniger Anreiz diesen noch mitzunehmen. Stände waren generell in gutem Zustand.
Pretty nice stream, 2 rappels, that’s it… It wasn’t worth the €4.50 entry fee. The jumping was okay. It’s probably more suited for commercial canyoning. At the first belay station (R24), don’t use the fixed carabiner on the left side—it’s severely deformed and will probably give out soon. It’s better to use the right-hand chain anchor. The central chain anchor at R33 is pretty good for pulling the chain, but you have to swing in slightly from the left. That could be tricky for beginners. Otherwise, it’s better to do the 33 meters in one go. An intermediate belay is unnecessary, unless you plan to do S15. The lower section is a great route for kids; otherwise, there’s little incentive to include it. Belay stations were generally in good condition.

Heute zu viert beide Teile begangen. Totes Reh liegt und duftet aktuell noch.. oberer Teil wie gestriger Eintrag alles Spring und Rutschbar. Im unteren Teil der S8 wieder machbar, allerdings mit Bodenkontakt. Vorsicht! Der S3 im Anschluss nach dem Abseiler nicht machbar. Wassertiefe ca. 1,70m! Unterer Teil mehr als üblich glatt. Sprünge sind machbar. An der Schlussrutsche wäre der Sprung zwar machbar, aber der Weg dorthin wegen Glätte nicht erreichbar. Rutsche würde gehen. Leichte Veränderung wieder im Bereich C20 (vorletzter Abseiler) im Vergleich zum letzten Jahr. Der Fels arbeitet noch.
Four of us walked both parts today. Dead deer is still lying and smelling... upper part as yesterday's entry all jump and slideable. In the lower part of the S8 doable again, but with ground contact. Caution! The S3 in the connection after the rappel is not feasible. Water depth approx. 1.70m! Lower part more slippery than usual. Jumps are doable. The jump at the final slide would be feasible, but the path to it is not accessible due to slippery conditions. Slide would be possible. Slight change again in the C20 area (penultimate rappel) compared to last year. The rock is still working.

Landschaftlich sehr sehr schöner Abseilcanyon. Zum Teil etwas duster. Einstieg trocken, aber das Wasser kommt noch dazu.
Very scenic, very beautiful rappel canyon. A little dark in places. Entry dry, but the water is still to come.
