Landschaftlich der Hammer, absolutes Djungelfeeling! Auch super mit nur 1 Auto machbar, haben vom Aussstiegsparkplatz nur 35 Min bis zum oberen Einstieg gebraucht. Tour ist recht kurz (haben 1,5h gebraucht trotz größerer Franzosengruppe vor uns), also evtl noch mit anderem Canyon kombinierbar. Gestein ist recht griffig, die Abseiler im (lt. Franzosenguide für die Jahreszeit normalem) Wasserstrahl oder im Trockenen möglich (teils Achtung bzgl scharfen Kanten!) Wasser oben glasklar, unten trüb
The scenic is awesome, absolute jungle feeling! Also superiore doable with only 1 car, we only needed 35 minutes from the exit parking lot to the upper entry. The tour is quite short (it took us 1.5 hours despite a large group of Frenchmen in front of us), so it can possibly be combined with another canyon. The rock is quite grippy, the rappels are possible in the water jet (normal for the time of year according to the French guide) or in the dry (be careful of sharp edges!). Wasser steht ziemlich und stinkt sowie überall jede Menge Algen, die sich um Abseilgeräte und Seile legen Landschaftlich trotzdem schön und die Rutschen - sofern rutschbar, gehen aufgrund des suuuper rutschigen Schleimgesteins ziemlich ab :)
The water is quite stagnant and smelly and there's a lot of algae everywhere, clinging to the abseiling equipment and ropes Nevertheless, the scenery is beautiful and the slides - if they are slippery - are pretty cool due to the super slippery slime rock :)

Auch hier deuuutlich mehr Wasser als beschrieben wegen der vorangegangenen Unwetter - aber alles machbar und wenn man möchte fast alle Abseiler außerhalb des Wasserstrahls möglich, und aktuell auch kein Treibholz o.ä. drin Manche Stände (meist 1-2 Ringe) leicht eingerostet aber noch ok. Fixseile und Seilgeländer teils vorhanden und ok, Gestein halbwegs griffig 2.Foto ist gleich beim Einstieg
Also here probably more water than described because of the previous storms - but everything doable and if you want almost all rappels outside the water jet possible, and currently also no driftwood or similar in it Some stands (mostly 1-2 rings) slightly rusty but still ok. Fixed ropes and rope traverses partly available and ok, rock halfway grippy 2nd photo is right at the entry

Nachdem vor 2 Tagen ein Unwetter durchgerauscht ist crazy Wasserstand, aber alles machbar. Stände noch immer vorhanden, wobei manche teils ein wenig rostig sind bzw lediglich ein Rapidglied an ner Bandschlinge um einen Baum. Stände alle auch außerhalb des Wasserstrahls möglich. Super glitschiges Gestein, was bei dem Wasserstand ein Überqueren des Flusses bzw Abklettern teils unmöglich macht bzw durch die Weißwasserbecken teils nur eingeschränkte Sicht in Eintauchbecken ermöglicht. Weiters logischerweise ein wenig Treibholz in manchen Becken - aber Alles in Allem ein wunderschöner, aquatischer Canyon mit kaltem Wasser.
After a storm rushed through 2 days ago, the water level was crazy, but everything was doable. Stands still available, although some are a little rusty or just a rapid link on a sling around a tree. Stands all possible outside the water jet. Superiore slippery rock, which makes crossing the river or downclimbing partly impossible at the water level or allows only limited visibility into the immersion pools due to the white water pools. Logically, there is also a little driftwood in some pools - but all in all a beautiful, aquatic canyon with cold water.

Richtig schöner anfängerfreundlicher Canyon, Wasser etwas trüb aber trotzdem gut einschätzbar bzgl Rutschen, waren zu 4. trotz langsamer Gruppe vor uns in 1h durch den Canyon durch und in 25 Min wieder beim Auto. Sind um 14:30 Uhr eingestiegen und brauchten keine Stirnlampe in der Dunkelklamm. Kettenstände bei den nicht abkletterbaren Abseilern vorhanden und gut erreichbar. Gestein versintert und griffig
Really nice beginner-friendly canyon, water a bit murky but still easy to assess in terms of slides, 4 of us were through the canyon in 1 hour despite a slow group in front of us and back at the car in 25 minutes. We got in at 14:30 and didn't need a headlamp in the dark gorge. Chain anchors were available at the rappels that could not be rappelled and were easily accessible. Rock sintered and easy to grip

Wege mit Beschreibung gut gefunden, sind beim 2. Einstieg (also erst beim interessanten Teil) ein- und bei Badeplatz Tamara (also nach dem interessanten Teil) wieder ausgestiegen. Die Schlucht war wuunnnnderschön, sehr aquatisch und mit einigen spannenden und unberechenbaren Weißwasserbecken mit verdeckten Steinen sowie Syphonen ausgestattet - ich würde sie eher nur erfahrenen Gruppen empfehlen, war aber alles in allem, wenn man ein bisschen Wasser lesen kann und vorsichtig nicht blind überall rein springt, ein absolut toller Canyon (wir hatten trotzdem zur Sicherheit Wurfsäcke mit). Wasser hatte genau die richtige "Abkühltemperatur", sodass man weder frieren noch schwitzen musste und das Wasser schön klar sowie ohne Algen blieb. Seil hätten wir keins gebraucht, haben alles abgeklettert, was durch das durchwegs griffige Sintergestein gut ging. Beim Badeplatz vor dem Aufstieg kann (und bei unserem 40°-Wetter: sollte) man sich noch bei einer eiskalten köstlichen Quelle erfrischen.
We found the paths well with the description, entered at the 2nd entry (i.e. only at the interesting part) and got out again at the Tamara bathing area (i.e. after the interesting part). The canyon was beautiful, very aquatic and equipped with some exciting and unpredictable white water pools with hidden stones and syphons - I would only recommend it to experienced groups, but all in all, if you can read water a bit and are careful not to jump in blindly everywhere, it was an absolutely great canyon (we still had throw bags with us for safety). The water was just the right "cooling temperature", so you didn't have to freeze or sweat and the water remained nice and clear and free of algae. We wouldn't have needed a rope, we downclimbed everything, which went well due to the sintered rock with good grip throughout. At the bathing area before the ascent, you can (and in our 40° weather: should) refresh yourself at an ice-cold, delicious spring.

Waren um kurz vor 8 die erste startende Gruppe - beim Ausstieg 1h 25 später war der komplette Parkplatz voll, also früher starten zahlt sich aus. Dieses Jahr fast kein Kies in den Pools, konnten eigentlich fast alles springen/rutschen (trotz biiiisschen weniger Wasser als normal), beim Rest gab es neue Fixseile.
We were the first group to start shortly before 8am - at the exit 1h 25 later the entire parking lot was full, so it pays to start early. Almost no gravel in the pools this year, we were actually able to jump/slide almost everything (despite a bit less water than normal), the rest had new fixed ropes.

Zustiegsparkplatzkoordinaten starten direkt beim Wanderweg (auf ca 1100 hm) und sind somit nicht beim Kriegerdenkmal, wo die Beschreibung beginnt. Man findet trotzdem super runter, wobei wir wohl bisschen zu weit dem Wanderweg gefolgt und somit direkt beim 15er Abseiler eingestiegen sind. Zustiegszeit waren trotzdem die 15 Minuten. Tour gesamt superschön, zum Gehen super, nur in den Abseilern teils rutschig. Abseiler zwar meist im Wasser aber beim heutigen Wasserstand absolut null Probleme. Trotz Sonntag keiner anderen Tour begegnet. Stände Obergourmet- Ketten mit teils 3 Klebehäken. Waren mit Zustieg zu 4. in 03:45 beim Auto unten. Sind um 10:20 Uhr ca in die Tour gestartet und hatten perfekten Sonnenschein in der Schlucht, uns wurde sogar durchwegs recht heiß. Eher Abseil- und Gehtour mit nur wenigen niedrigen Sprungmöglichkeiten. Nur mit vorab Genehmigung erlaubt plus Nationalparkgebühr.
Access parking lot coordinates start directly at the hiking trail (at approx. 1100 m) and are therefore not at the war memorial, where the description begins. You can still find your way down superiore, although we probably followed the hiking trail a bit too far and thus got on directly at the 15 rappel. The approach time was still 15 minutes. Tour as a whole superiore, great for walking, only in the rappels partly slippery. Rappels mostly in the water but absolutely no problems with today's water level. Despite Sunday no other tour encountered. Stands Obergourmet chains with partly 3 glued anchors. Were with access to 4. in 03:45 at the car down. Started the tour at 10:20 am and had perfect sunshine in the canyon, we even got quite hot throughout. More of a rappel and walking tour with only a few low possible jumps. Only allowed with prior authorization plus national park fee.

Der supernette Ahmed (gebrochen englisch, sonst BKS) aus dem direkt nebenan gelegenen Dörfchen hat uns um 20 Euro zum Einstieg geshutteled, da wir nur ein Auto hatten. Macht er lt. Eigenen Angaben teils mehrmals täglich, also freut er sich sicher auch über weitere Fahrgäste 😎 Der Canyon selbst war ein Traum, sind ihn gemütlich in bisschen unter 2h gegangen. Felsen fast überall griffig, einiges rutsch- bzw. Springbar Einzelhäken überall vorhanden, an zwei oder drei Stellen sogar ein Kettenstand Nicht dem irreführenden rot markierten Ausstieg auf der linken Seite folgen ;)
The super-nice Ahmed (broken English, otherwise BKS) from the village next door shuttled us to the entry for 20 euros, as we only had one car. According to his own information, he does this several times a day, so he's certainly happy to see more passengers 😎 The canyon itself was a dream, we walked it comfortably in a little under 2 hours. Rocks with good grip almost everywhere, some slides and jumpables Single hooks everywhere, even a chain anchor in two or three places Don't follow the misleading red marked exit on the left ;)

Süßer kleiner Canyon, Beschreibung war super, Aufstieg leicht zu finden. Gestein sehr rutschig, haben keinen Vergleich hinsichtlich Wasserstand, da zum 1.Mal gegangen, aber war alles gut machbar trotz ein zwei Abseilern direkt im Wasserstrahl. Wasserqualität absolut köstlich+glasklar sowie ziemlich kalt. Zwischenzeitlich mancher Abseiler auch gut abkletterbar, selten mal ein kleiner Sprung hier oder da. Trotzdem nett, offen, sonnig und schön :)
Cute little canyon, description was superiore, easy to find the ascent. Rock very slippery, have no comparison regarding water level, as it was the first time, but everything was well doable despite two rappels directly in the water jet. Water quality absolutely delicious + crystal clear and quite cold. In the meantime, some rappels were also easy to climb, rarely a small jump here or there. Still nice, open, sunny and beautiful :)

Zufahrt zum Parkplatz ist leider nicht mehr ganz möglich, da ca 100m davor der Weg weggebrochen/gespült ist und dort jetzt ne Stufe über nen halben Meter drin ist. Leider sowohl die Furt nach den Regenfällen der letzten Woche fast auf die ganze Breite überspült, die mittleren zwei im Wasser liegenden Steine ganz unter Wasser, sowie bei der Staumauer auch aus dem oberen Loch Wasser, daher sind wir ihn dann leider gar nicht gegangen. Von unten ließ sich nur gleich sagen (Bilder lassen sich leider grad nicht hochladen), dass extrem viel Kies drin is sowie sieht das Flussbett über der Staumauer vollkommen anders aus.
Unfortunately, access to the parking lot is no longer quite possible, as the path about 100m in front of it has broken away/washed away and there is now a step over half a meter in it. Unfortunately, after last week's rainfall, the ford was flooded almost across its entire width, the middle two stones lying in the water were completely under water, and there was also water in the upper hole at the dam wall, so unfortunately we didn't walk it at all. The only thing we could tell from the bottom (unfortunately we can't upload pictures at the moment) was that there was a lot of gravel in it. and the riverbed above the dam looks completely different.

Dies Jahr null Zecken beim Zustieg. Wie immer alle Stände absolut top. Bisschen mehr Wasser als normal, aber absolut kein Problem, da fast alle Abseiler außerhalb des Wassers. Die Gumpen recht zugekiest aber mit flexiblen Knien das meiste trotzdem springbar. Die einzige bislang bei hohem Wasserstand schwierige Stufe ist nicht mehr vorhanden sondern jetzt eine trockene Rutsche, da sich durch einen neuen Felsklemmblock der Wasserlauf komplett verändert bzw nach links verlagert hat. Org viel Zulauf aus den seitlichen Quellen der Felswand welcher durchwegs für ein magisches Ambiente sorgt.
Zero ticks on access this year. As always, all the belays were absolutely great. A bit more water than normal, but absolutely no problem, as almost all rappels are out of the water. The pools are quite gravelly but with flexible knees most of them are still jumpable. The only previously difficult step at high water levels is no longer there but now a dry slide, as the water course has completely changed or shifted to the left due to a new rock block. Org a lot of inflow from the side springs of the rock face which creates a magical atmosphere throughout.

Wie immer in Friaul alle 8 Absicherungen super schön, Wasser bisschen mehr als sonst und teils super rutschig in den Kaskaden, aber dieses Jahr auch keine tote Gams irgendwo also safe to drink unten, und der Parkplatz samt Radweg sind unten komplett neu angelegt.
As always in Friuli, all 8 belays super nice, water a bit more than usual and sometimes super slippery in the cascades, but this year also no dead chamois anywhere so safe to drink down, and the parking lot and bike path are completely new at the bottom.

Beschreibung und teils auch GPS Punkte haben überhaupt nicht zusammen gepasst, war eine ziemliche Herumsucherei zwischen zig abgesperrten Wegen, mühsam. Der canyon dann (trotz Regen am Vortag) entweder trocken oder mit grausig abgestandenen Becken gefüllt. Seile für den Wiederaufstieg waren bis auf 2 Stellen in den letzten 7 Abseilstellen bis zum Ausstieg vorhanden. Auch im oberen Teil waren viele Fixseile montiert.
The description and some of the GPS points didn't match at all, it was quite a search between umpteen closed off paths, tedious. The canyon was then (despite rain the day before) either dry or filled with horribly stagnant pools. Ropes for the ascent were available except for 2 places in the last 7 abseils to the exit. There were also many fixed ropes in the upper part.

Trotz der angeblich besten Jahreszeit vollkommen trocken bis auf ein paar abgestandene Lacken. Der "Zufluss" von links war ein süßes Tröpfeln, also weiterhin staubtrocken, auch die Gumpen vollkommen leer, daher teils aufpassen, dass man nicht zu weit in die leeren Gumpen abseilt. Nur einer würde fürs Rauskommen Probleme bereiten, dort ist aber ein Fixseil als Aufstiegshilfe montiert. Daher jedoch viele Abseilstellen abkletterbar, Stein grundsätzlich recht griffig. Wir haben uns im Neo totgeschwitzt, wäre aktuell mit T-Shirt und Hose auch gegangen :) Sinterformationen sind schön aber ohne Wasser insgesamt wenig lohnend. Zwischenzeitlich auch Handyempfang möglich, da die Schlucht sehr offen ist
Despite the supposedly best time of year, completely dry except for a few stale pools. The "inflow" from the left was a sweet trickle, so still dry as dust, the pools also completely empty, so be careful not to rappel too far into the empty pools. Only one would cause problems for getting out, but there is a fixed rope mounted there as an ascent aid. However, many of the abseiling sections can be climbed down, and the rock is generally quite grippy. We sweated ourselves to death in our wetsuits, but would have been fine in a T-shirt and trousers :) Sinter formations are beautiful but not very rewarding without water. Cell phone reception is also possible in the meantime, as the canyon is very open

Wasser recht kalt, super rutschig an vielen Stellen. Absicherung super, Fixseile fast überall vorhanden, wir haben unser Seil nur 2x gebraucht (20m Abseiler und am Schluss der optionale "Abkletterer" ins Meer) Ausstieg nichts für schwache Nerven, Kletteraufstieg in luftigen Höhen teils ohne Absicherung bzw recht ausgesetzt, zwischenzeitig sehr dünnes Drahtseil, aber wenigstens was hihi würde ich für Anfänger/ Höhenempfindliche nicht unbedingt empfehlen. Sehr scharfer Stein -> auf jeden Fall Handschuhe mitnehmen! Alles in allem, mega schön, vor allem die Aussicht aufs Meer vom Klettersteig aus :)
Water quite cold, super slippery in many places. Superiore protection, fixed ropes available almost everywhere, we only needed our rope twice (20m rappel and at the end the optional "downclimb" into the sea). Exit not for the faint-hearted, climbing ascent at lofty heights partly without protection or quite exposed, in between very thin wire rope, but at least something hihi I would not necessarily recommend for beginners/sensitive to heights. Very sharp rock -> definitely take gloves! All in all, mega beautiful, especially the view of the sea from the via ferrata :)

Kettenstände alle in einwandfreiem Zustand, Wasserstand eher niedrig, keine problematischen Stellen, Wasserstand bei der Indikatorstelle unten bei Zufahrt siehe Bild. Beim Staudamm nur Wasserfluss durch die unterste Stufe.
Chain stands all in perfect condition, Water level rather low, no problematic spots, water level at indicator point down by access road see picture. At the dam only water flow through the lowest stage.
