Von Bad Tölz auf der B 13 über Lenggries zum Sylvensteinspeicher. Nach links über die Dammkrone und auf der B 307, bis man auf die von Tegernsee über Kreuth kommenden Ast der B307 trifft (bis hierher 29 km). Hier nun rechts passieren wir nach wenigen hundert Metern die alte Grenzstation und kommen 1,7 km danach zum Gasthof "Hagen", der nördlich der Straße liegt. Wir queren noch den Walchen und biegen nach der Brücke rechts ab in Richtung einer Kapelle. Dort können wir auf einem Wanderparkplatz unser Auto abstellen. Sofern wir vom Inntal herauf kommen, passieren wir auf der B 181 den Achensee und Achenkirch. 6,8 km nach Achenkirch erreichen wir das oben angegebene Ziel.
From Bad Tölz on the B13 via Lenggries to the Sylvenstein reservoir. Turn left over the dam crest and on the B 307 until you meet the branch of the B307 coming from Tegernsee via Kreuth (29 km to this point). Here now on the right we pass after a few hundred meters the old border station and come 1.7 km after that to the inn "Hagen", which lies to the north of the road. We still cross the Walchen and turn right after the bridge in the direction of a chapel. There we can park our car on a parking lot for hikers. \n\nIf we come up from the Inn valley, we pass Achensee and Achenkirch on the B 181. 6.8 km after Achenkirch we reach the destination indicated above.

Wir nehmen die Forststraße, die bei der Kapelle beginnt und in südwestlicher Richtung aufwärts zieht ("Rotwandalm"). Nach 450 m passieren wir eine links abgehende Piste, halten weiter geradeaus. Nach weiteren 650 m kommen wir zu einer weiteren Verzweigung und bleiben hier rechts. Wenig später kommen wir zur Brücke über den Taschbach. Unmittelbar nach der Brücke geht es auf undeutlichen Spuren rechts hinunter zum Bach.
We take the forest road that starts at the chapel and goes up in a southwesterly direction ("Rotwandalm"). After 450 m we pass a track that branches off to the left, keep straight on. After another 650 m we come to another fork and stay right here. A little later we come to the bridge over the Taschbach. Immediately after the bridge, we go down to the right on indistinct tracks to the stream.

Der Zustieg erfolgt nach der "Rutsche", die nicht gerutscht werden kann. Es folgt eine Bachwanderung mit einer Vielzahl kleinerer Stufen, die in der Regel abgerutscht oder gesprungen werden können.
The access is after the "slide", which can not be slid. This is followed by a river walk with a large number of smaller steps, which can usually be slid or jumped.

Entweder die B 181 ansteuern, wie bei Riml/Amor beschrieben, oder am Ende der Einschluchtung rechts hinaus und am Südwestrand der eingezäunten Wiese entlang, zunächst auf schwachen Spuren, später weglos, zur Zustiegspiste und auf dieser hinunter zum Auto (wie auf der Karte bei Riml skizziert).
Either head for B 181, as described by Riml/Amor, or exit to the right at the end of the gorge and follow the southwest edge of the fenced meadow, first on faint tracks, later pathless, to the exit track and down to the car.

Heute zusammen mit „da-schluchtler“ einiges an Holz entfernt und die Schlucht auf Vordermann gebracht. Sprünge und Rutschen teils -mit weichen Knien- machbar ;-) Coole Jungs, cooler Tag, danke.
Today, together with "da-schluchtler", I removed some of the wood and got the canyon in shape. Jumps and slides partly doable - with soft knees ;-) Cool guys, cool day, thanks.

Most pools still are not deep enough to jump. The big slide is slowly getting a bit deeper, but still only around hip-deep. Some newly fallen trees are in the way here and there, should be cleared away before the beginning of the commercial season. Zipline is still up.

Stände ok. Gumpen ziemlich aufgekiest. Bei der Stahlseiltyrolienne sollte man sich so weit vom Drahtseil nach unten abhöngen, dass man bei der Ankunft so viel Boden unter den Füßen hat, dass man sich ausbinden kann (Foto). Diesmal sind wir entsprechend der Beschreibung in Amor/Riml im Bach hinausgelaufen Richtung Ache und haben dort ein Steimännchen gesetzt, wo wir die Uferböschung hinauf auf den Pfad zur Straße geklettert sind (Foto)
Stands ok. Gumpen pretty much gravelled up. At the steel cable tyrolienne should be hunted down so far from the wire rope that you have so much ground under your feet on arrival that you can untie yourself (photo). This time we walked out in the stream according to the description in Amor/Riml in the direction of the Ache and have set there a Steimännchen, where we climbed up the embankment onto the path to the road (photo)
