Enter on RG down hand lines next to the climbing area, one 25m rap in. A few dead animals, but over a beautiful canyon with a really fun slide in the middle that can be repeated many times

Anchors are either missing, rope tied through hangers, or rope around boulders, would be better if you could enter canyon from around 32TMS 07695 27757 on the RG or RD, as the remaining 90% of creek upstream is crawling through fallen pine trees and stinging nettle. One star is for the gondola ride up and 3 abseils in the last 100 m of canyon.

Walk in to the top top1.45hrs, descent from top to middle entry 3hrs, ( really bad quality anchors and bad canyon) lower entry to exit track above Montana, 1 hr, walk back to town (ansogna) 50 mins. Montana had a lot of water. Looked cool though. Considering the walk in and out was very long and the canyon was not very good, and the bolts were bad or absent in many places, would not recommend this trip to anyone

The anchors are all present, some amazing jumps 2.30hrs approach, 3 hrs descent integral. The upper section is worth doing, pretty nice continuous canyon.

I heard all anchors are intact and rebelay on the 65 m is new and at a large break under the old spit bolts. So can be broken into smaller abseils, also heard it’s suprisingly fun!

Beautiful varied canyon, entered via the tributary. Levels were higher than all pics on web at the time. The first 4 drops were the easiest section of the canyon water wise when we descended, however if rubble gets pushed from pools and makes them deeper, they would be much more challenging. Pictures show higher levels however the water levels can look similar in the top section and double in the lower section (confirmed with another party) so the first few drops are not a good indicator of how high the lower canyon will be. The canyon is very technical at this water level, may need floating anchors and good skills.

It’s a nice canyon but very short, and over rigged, too many ropes left on bolts through the whole canyon which take away the beauty
