As always very beautiful and absolutely worthwhile, especially in the current heat a great way to cool off. Water is very refreshing, no running water at first, but after a short time everything is perfect. Very beautiful play of colors in the sunshine. The consequences of the rockslide are clearly visible, but don't make the canyon any less attractive - there are still plenty of possible jumps. One fixed rope is broken, so I recommend having at least a 10m rope with you, a >=19m rope is needed to control the pool at the 8.5m jump

Superiore access with GPS track from the description! Canyon with very little water and therefore very hot Water consistently cloudy or algaey Way back through the river bed Total time ascent, mascun superiore, inferiore. And way back in about 7h (4 persons) Scenically beautiful, canyon-technically uninteresting at this water level

All stands superiore. Reaching the first stand might be challenging at higher water levels 👀...(picture 1) Beautiful canyon. A nice jump possible.

Very unusual canyon. Unique rock features and many passages in complete darkness, closer to caving than canyoning. For flows, the dam keepers house is on the true right side of the dam. The people in the refugio will also help you. The day before we went down there was a release. Very grippy rock in most sections. Finding your way at times could be confusing, especially into the second section. Don't bring a crappy headtorch!!

The access is strenuous, especially as you should have quite a lot of ropes with you for the tour. Nevertheless, it is a really beautiful and rewarding hike through the Gesäuse with good rope protection. The descent into the tour is difficult to find and really steep and brittle, unfortunately we didn't quite find the right way down so we missed the first 2 abseiling points. Lots of bolts as described at the positions and in good condition. Unfortunately, some were damaged or no longer there. But everything that was broken or no longer there was replaced or re-drilled by us. (+ also drilled new holes in a few places to be able to pull off the rope better) so the canyon is now really in good condition again and everything can be done with a 70m rope, possibly even with 60m. * Stand left at the edge (chain anchor) 100m exactly to the bottom. (2 intermediate stands, depending on 30 or 50 m left. Advisable if there is a lot of water, otherwise the ropes are difficult to pull off). Both intermediate stands are present, but the one at 50m is no longer in good condition, so I drilled a new one at approx. 65m. (2Bolts+Rapid) * Stand Left (Bolt+Sling+Ring) 10m (Possibly take new rope) * Stand left (Bolt) 15 m flat to the edge (I did not find it but it is also climbable) * Stand left (chain anchor) 80m to the waterfall path (after overhang possible intermediate stand, difficult to reach) ATTENTION!!! The ropes cannot be pulled off the intermediate belay and it is really difficult to reach, extremely slippery and sloping at the farthest point of the transition. That's why I drilled a new intermediate belay at about 15m directly in front of the overhang on the edge to the left (Bolt+Rapid) From there you can easily get down with a 70m rope, possibly even with 60m and the rope can be pulled off really well from there

Good parking lot (chargeable, 6€/day) We somehow didn't see the intermediate entrance and then walked the whole canyon. Very worthwhile at times, but also (as already mentioned several times) a lot of dead wood in the canyon. Anchoring points are sometimes unfavorable, but we always have a way to help ourselves.

We had water in the pools but no running water. Beautiful canyon, very steep ascent. Anchor ok, but not perfect. 1x20 and 1x40 is a good ropes recommendation We were allowed to stand in their parking lot with the museum's permission.

Very sporty water level, only for experienced canyonists with whitewater skills and good rope technique. In addition, at the current water level, good local knowledge is a prerequisite for placing the stands in the canyon. Currently very slippery overall. Stands all okay. On the second jump, do not jump into the white water but to the left of it (well-known rock slab).

Stands all in order. Some slightly bent hooks but nothing serious. Now super grippy although every pool is completely blocked.
