Wir haben direkt neben der Brücke geparkt. Der Besitzer des Firmengelände meinte, dort wäre es okay, da bei ihm auf dem Parkplatz öfters größere Fahrzeuge wenden müssten. Der Canyon ist sportlich. Man wird ordentlich nass und es gibt einige Umlenker einzubauen. Meistens sieht es von oben aber wilder aus als es nachher ist.

We parked right next to the bridge. The owner of the business property said it was okay there, since larger vehicles often have to turn around in his parking lot. The canyon is a challenge. You’ll get pretty wet, and there are a few bypasses to set up. Most of the time, though, it looks wilder from above than it actually is.

Heute war der Canyon starkt überlaufen. Man steckt schnell zwischen den kommerziellen Gruppen was die Sache sehr ungemütlich macht. Ein Rummel-Canyon.

The canyon was extremely crowded today. You quickly find yourself stuck among the commercial groups, which makes the whole experience very uncomfortable. A crowded canyon.

Der letzte Teil der Straße ist Schotterpiste. Netter kleiner Canyon. Man ist schnell wieder beim Auto. Wir haben eine Seilbahn geübt aufzubauen, die man hier auch sinnvoll anwenden kann.

The last part of the road is a gravel track. A nice little canyon. You’re back at the car in no time. We practiced setting up a rope bridge, which can also be put to good use here.

Den unteren Teil haben wir am gleichen Tag mit dem anderen oberen Teil kombiniert. Man muss allerdings das Auto umsetzen und kann nicht in einem Rutsch durchgehen. Der erste Teil ist eher Bachwanderung mit vielen Abkletterpassagen und ich dachte mir schon der Canyon sei eher ein Sammlerstück. Zum Ende hin wird es aber besser und es folgen ein paar schöne Abseilstellen direkt hintereinander. Es gibt sogar ein Sprungstelle an der ein paar Kletterseile gespannt sind. Der Gumpen war bei uns aber sehr flach. Also vorsichtig sein.

We combined the lower section with the other upper section on the same day. You do have to move the car, though, so you can’t do the whole thing in one go. The first part is more of a river walk with lots of downclimbs, and I’d already figured the canyon was more of a collector’s item. Toward the exit, though, it gets better, and there are a few nice rappelling spots right in a row. There’s even a jump spot where a few climbing ropes are strung up. The pool was very shallow when we were there, though, so be careful.

Stark kommerziell begangener Canyon. Zwingend zweites Auto notwendig. Es gibt einen extra Canyoning Parkplatz oben am Einstieg mit reichlich Platz. Der Zuweg ist sogar ausgeschildert und ein Topo hängt am Parkplatz. Längere Wanderung zwischendurch nach den ersten Abseilstellen, aber kurzweilig, da es einen guten Trampelpfad neben dem Bach gibt. Es wirkt so als wäre der Canyon bei dem Einbau hinter einer Abseilstelle zu Ende, von der man wieder auf die Straße gelangt. Anscheinend geht der Canyon noch etwas weiter. Wir sind hier vermutlich zu früh ausgestiegen und die Straße hinuntergelaufen.

A heavily commercialized canyon. A second car is absolutely necessary. There’s a separate canyoning parking lot at the entry with plenty of space. The access trail is even signposted, and a topographic view is posted at the parking lot. There’s a longer hike in between the first rappelling spots, but it’s enjoyable since there’s a well-trodden trail alongside the stream. It looks as though the canyon exits behind an abseil point, from which you can get back to the road. Apparently, the canyon continues a bit further. We probably exited here too early and walked down the road.

A very popular canyon for commercial tours. We jumped to the first rappelling spot right by the bridge. After the second rappelling spot, there’s a longer river walk. Then things get exciting again. The exit and the way back are very well marked. A beautiful hike back.

Sehr gut eingerichtet mit Topo am Einstieg. Zweimal besteht die Möglichkeit ein Seilgeländer aufzubauen.
