Watch out for rockfall! The 200m abseils are extremely exposed to rockfalls.. . Topo PvD not correct for the 200m rappels. First part bolted on the right side (4 points), second part bolted on the left (2 points). Not much water and at the end loooooong walk out (around 3h). Very beautiful canyon but flashed us less then Ademit.

Check the water level at the iron bridge. Five min, from last pool. We didn’t do the canyon as it was completely dry. Would recommend to do it in Spring. The way up can be done by shuttle or walk in the bush which is well marked by cairns.

If water is flowing at the exit of the canyon it does not mean there will be any water in the canyon. Check the entry below the water capture. Would highly recommand to do it in spring (after rainfall) and with sunshine for the rocks to be at their best. Otherwise very muddy/clay canyon. Fantastic rock formations.
