Von St. Johann/Tirol 7 km nordwärts auf der 312 bis Erpfendorf. Dort links ab und noch 2 km bis Wohlmuting. Vor der Brücke über den Taxabach links ab, dann rechts über die kleine Brücke, sofort wieder links, am Bauernhof erneut links haltend und bis zum Beginn der Steigung. Hier rechts Auto abstellen. Von Kössen (Oberbayern) kommend in Richtung St.Johann erreicht man Wohlmuting nach 12 km.
From St. Johann/Tyrol 7 km north on the 312 to Erpfendorf. Turn left there and continue for another 2 km to Wohlmuting. Before the bridge over the Taxabach turn left, then right over the small bridge, immediately left again, keeping left again at the farm and up to the beginning of the climb. Park your car here on the right.\nComing from Kössen (Upper Bavaria) in the direction of St.Johann, you reach Wohlmuting after 12 km.

Entweder auf der Forststaße oder besser auf einem unscheinbaren Steig an der orograf. li. Bachseite aufwärts, dann li. über die Holzbrücke - mit informativem Blick in die Schlucht - und nach weiteren 50m rechts hinab in das Bachbett oberhalb der Geschiebesperre.
Either on the forest road or better on an inconspicuous path on the orographic left side of the stream, then left over the wooden bridge - with informative view into the canyons - and after another 50m right down into the streambed above the bedload barrier.

Am 1. Abseiler C22 ist zeitweise eine Tyrolienne fest installiert. Dafür aber 2x30m Seil nötig! Nach 15m Zwischenstand orografisch rechts (mit festem Handgeländer, Empfehlung), dann noch R7. Die "Rutsche" vor dem 2. Abseiler kann man links oder nach rechts oben umgehen. Nächster Absatz kann oro. links C10 (exponierter Kettenstand) oder oro. rechts via Seilgeländer C20 (Kettenstand) gemacht werden. T2 am Ende der Schlucht ist hinsichtlich der nötigen Beckentiefe zu prüfen. orograf. links Bohrhaken vorhanden oder Körperanker. 15m nach T2 Hochwasserschutzplatz.
At the 1st rappel C22 is temporarily a Tyrolienne permanently installed. But for this 2x30m ropes necessary!\n. After 15m intermediate stand oro. right (with fixed handrail, recommendation), then still R7. The "slide" before the 2nd rappel can be bypassed to the left or to the top right. Next approach can be made oro. left C10 (exposed chain anchor) or oro. right via rope traverse C20 (chain anchor). T2 at the exit of the canyon should be checked for the necessary pool depth. oro. left bolts available or body anchor. 15m after T2 high water protection place.
