All the cracks are io. Unfortunately, almost all the water is drained away at the entry to the int. section. The int. section is a nice extension of the inferior section.

Schöne Erweiterung zum inf. Teil. Sehr steiler Aufstig teilweise.2 neue Hacken gesetzt. Einstiegsabseiler am Hacken auf der Mauer neben Geländer. 50 Meter Seil reichen. Schöne Felsstrukturen wie im inf Teil auch. Vom Ende der Schlucht 10 Minuten Bachbettwanderung zum Einstieg vom inf Teil.
A nice extension to the inferior section. Very steep climb in places. Two new pitons installed. Start rappelling from the piton on the wall next to the railing. A 50-meter rope is sufficient. Beautiful rock formations, just like in the inferior section. From the exit of the canyon, it’s a 10-minute hike along the stream bed to the entry of the inferior section.

Verankerungen im Moment alle io, im inf teil 2 Hacken neu gebohrt. Wir sind bei der Holzbrücke an einem Baum direkt in die Schlucht abgeseilt. Lange anstrengende Tour. Wir haben beide Teile gemacht. Kein klares Wasser, daher mühsam zum laufen.
All the anchors are in place for now; we drilled two new holes for the hooks in the INF section. We rappelled down from a tree by the wooden bridge, straight into the canyon. It was a long, strenuous hike. We completed both sections. The water wasn't clear, so it was difficult to walk through.

Alle Hacken io. Schöne Schlucht mit coolen Steinformationen. Der Zustiegsweg ist neu gemacht, wunderschön zu begehen aber teilweise extrem steil.
All the climbs are great. A beautiful canyon with cool rock formations. The access path has been redone; it’s wonderful to hike but extremely steep in places.

Wunderschöne Kalksteinschlucht mit schönem griffigem Gestein. Alle Stände io. Beim ersten höheren Abseiler mit 30 Meter über die nächste Stufe runter, da es dort kein Hacken hat. Einbisschen mehr wasser als das Hüttenwiestobel. Stand beim 50 Meter ganz, orographisch, rechts auf der Kante ein bisschen versteckt
A beautiful limestone gorge with nice, grippy rock. All belay stations are in good condition. For the first longer rappel, descend 30 meters over the next step, as there are no pitons there. A little more water than at Hüttenwiestobel. The belay station at the 50-meter mark is intact, orographically speaking, and slightly hidden on the right side of the edge.

Alle Stände im top Zustand. Dort wo es keine Hacken hat, kann man gut abklettern. Wasser ging wärend der Begehung schon zurück, das es aufhörte zu Regnen.
All routes are in top condition. Where there are no holds, it’s easy to downclimb. The water had already receded during the reconnaissance because it had stopped raining.

Oben viel Holz, Wasser schnell trüb und oft schlamm. Alle Haken da. Teilweise seltsam gesetzt. Zwischenstand am C73 in schlechtem Zustand. Besser von der Kette oben direkt wie letztes mal. Wenig rutschig aktuell. Achtung vor Steinschlag.
Lots of wood at the top; the water gets murky quickly and is often muddy. All the anchors are there, though some are placed in odd spots. The intermediate anchor at C73 is in poor condition. It’s better to go straight up from the chain at the top, like last time. It’s not very slippery right now. Watch out for falling rocks.

Alle Stände vorhanden aber stellenweise nicht leicht zu finden. Der durch Fluss bei Mellau Messstation war bei ca. 4-5 m3. Habe mal ein Bild beim Einstieg gemacht bei wenig Wasser zum vergleichen.
All gauges are in place, but some are hard to find. The river level at the Mellau measuring station was about 4–5 m³. I took a picture at the entry when the water was low, just for comparison.

Ein durchaus schöner Waldgraben mit Schlussabseiler von gut 90 Metern. Wunderschöner Ausblick, beim 90 Meter Abseiler, bis zum Bodensee. Schöne Schlucht. Wir haben in der Nähe des Ausstiegsparkplatz das eine Auto abgeschtellt, sind dann mit dem zweiten Auto zur Karrenseilbahn. Einfachfahrt mit Bahn 11.90 Euro. Von der Bergstation sind wir via Kühberg auf einem, teils schmalen Weg direkt zum Einstieg gewandert. Vom Einstieg geht es zuerst einbisschen wandernd im Bachbett zum ersten Abseiler. Mit kurzen Rutschen und Abseilern geht es schön Bachabwärts. Nur an einer Stelle viel Schwemmholz drin. Bei der Wegkreuzung gingen wir zuerst ein paar Meter dem Drahtseilvom Wanderweg rechts weiter, dann stiegen wir wieder ins Bachbett ab. Beim hohen Abseiler hat es zwei Stände mit Ketten. Wir sind vom oberen zum untern, ca. 10 Meter abgeseilt. Vom unteren Stand, direkt an der Kante gehts ca. 90 Meter senkrecht runter, teilweise im Wasser. Stände alle io. 2*100 Meter Seil reichen tiptop. Alles in Allem eine schöne kurze Schlucht. Wir haben für die Schlucht knapp 2 Stunden gebraucht.
A beautiful forest canyon with a final abseil of a good 90 meters. Wonderful view, at the 90 meter rappel, all the way to Lake Constance. Beautiful canyon. We parked one car near the parking exit and then took the second car to the Karren cable car. One-way ticket with the cable car 11.90 euros. From the mountain station we hiked via Kühberg on a partly narrow path directly to the entry. From the entry point, we first hiked along the streambed to the first rappel. With short slides and rappels, it goes nicely downstream. Only one place with a lot of driftwood. At the crossroads, we first walked a few meters along the wire rope from the hiking trail to the right, then descended back into the streambed. At the high rappel there are two stands with chains. We rappelled from the upper to the lower one, about 10 meters. From the lower stand, directly at the edge, we descended about 90 meters vertically, partly in the water. Stands all ok. 2*100 meters of ropes are enough. All in all a nice short canyon. We needed just under 2 hours for the canyon.

Im oberen Teil bis zur Brücke nachwievor einiges an Holz drin. Bei einer Rampe 1 neuer Hacken gesetzt. Nach der Brücke auch bei einer Rampe 1 neuer Haken gesetzt. Zum kleinen Pool vor dem 2. letzten Abseiler kann man jetzt auch abseilen. Haken beim 2. letzten Stand neu gebohrt. Somit sind alle Stände in gutem Zustand.
There is still a lot of wood in the upper part up to the bridge. 1 new piton placed at a ramp. After the bridge, 1 new anchor has also been placed at a ramp. You can now also rappel to the small pool before the 2nd last rappel. New anchors drilled at the 2nd last belay. All belays are now in good condition.

Wir sind beim Bänkli eingestiegen. Bis zur Wasserfassung eher hoher Wasserstand. Unterhalb fliest auch Wasser aber deutlich weniger. Teilweise sehr rutschig
We got in at the bench. The water level is rather high up to the water catchment. Water also flows below but much less. Very slippery in places

Sehr viel Schnee auf dem Zustieg, teils Knietief eingesoffen. Mitteleinstieg mit 50 Meter von einem Baumstrunk oberhalb des Weges direkt runter. In der Schlucht viel Schnee aber gut begehbar. Stände alle io. Extrem rutschig im Wasser. Vorsicht von Schnee,Eis Rutschen von der Seite.
Lots of snow on the access, partly knee-deep in snow. Middle entry with 50 meters from a tree stump above the path directly down. Lots of snow in the canyon but easy to walk on. Stands all ok. Extremely slippery in the water. Beware of snow, ice slides from the side.

Alle Stände io. Nr. 9 schon ziemlich rostig aber io. Einige Stände mit Ketten ausgestattet. Im Wasser auf Felsen extrem rutschig, im Kies geht es. Beim beschriebenen Felssturz vom 15.7.23 kann man ganz links runterklettern. kein Problem. Abseiler und Laufpassagen wechseln sich ab. Alles in Allem eine hübsche Schlucht im Bregenzerwald
All stands io. No. 9 already quite rusty but io. Some stands equipped with chains. Extremely slippery in the water on rocks, on gravel it works. At the described rockfall of 15.7.23 you can climb down on the far left. no problem. Rappels and walking passages alternate. All in all, a beautiful canyon in the Bregenzerwald

v3a1 Erster Abseiler links am Baum auf 3Meter höhe. Dann mehrheitlich Bohrhakenstände. 2Neue Haken gebohrt. Letzter Abseiler mit Fidelstick an einem Fallholzbaum. Teilweise Holz im Bach. 2*30 Meter Seil reicht locker. Wir haben unten trockene Kleidung deponiert. Mit dem Auto dann zum Einstieg. Zum Schluss hoch gelaufen. Die Schlucht ist perfekt für ein Cleanbegung
v3a1 First rappel on the left side of the tree at a height of 3 meters. Then mostly bolt stands. 2New anchors drilled. Last rappel with fidelstick on a fall tree. Partly wood in the stream. 2*30 meter ropes are enough. We left dry clothes at the bottom. Then by car to the entry. Walked up at the end. The canyon is perfect for a cleanbegung

Sehr viel Holz. Von der Einstiegsbrücke bis zur mittleren Brücke nicht interessant. Eher Bachwanderung mit Abkletterstellen. Nach der mittleren Brücke schöne Abseiler mit dem Schlussabseiler in den See. mit einem 75 Meter Seil kommt man tiptop durch. Die Schlucht ist Sanierungsbedürftig. Alte Stände und teilweise gar keine Stände, aber gut improvisierbar. Trotzdem sehr gut begehbar Wenn jemand Lust und Zeit hat, stelle ich mich gerne zur Verfügung für die Sanierung.
A lot of wood. Not interesting from the access bridge to the middle bridge. More of a river walk with downclimbs. After the middle bridge nice rappels with the final rappel into the lake. With a 75 meter rope you can get through tiptop. The canyon is in need of renovation. Old stands and sometimes no stands at all, but easy to improvise. Still very easy to walk through If anyone has the time and inclination, I would be happy to help with the renovation.

Alle Stände io. Die ersten paar Meter nach der Fassung sind im Moment ziemlich schlammig und dreckig. Leider muss man abchecken ob man springen kann, da viele Pools zugekiest sind.

Görsbach ca 0.80m3/sec., für mich perfekte Wassermenge. An zwei Stellen im unteren Teil neue Haken gesetzt. An drei Stellen sind wir improfisiert hinunter gegangen. Sehr schöner eingeschnittener Canyon
