From Bierge on the southern edge of the Sierra Guara in the direction of Aguas (west), Yaso. Cross the Alcanadre below a dam and reach Morano. 500 m after the village, in a bend to the left, turn right into a parking lot (where you also park for the access to the Peonera inferiore). Take the second vehicle back to Bierge and from there continue towards Rodellar. After 10.5 km turn left (west) to San Saturnino. Park the second vehicle there.

From San Saturnino westwards down to the river (15 min.). If you only have 1 vehicle available, you can walk north from the parking lot north of Morano along the track that starts here. After a bend to the right, a track branches off to the left, which we follow to a saddle. It continues to wind its way northwards (parallel to the Rio Alcanadre to the east). Beyond the Alcanadre you can see the houses of San Saturnino. The track that leads off to the right takes us to the river (90 minutes in total). Access options also via Bco. os Arenales/Hondo (see video and photos 2014 and https://es.wikiloc.com/rutas-descenso-de-barrancos/peonera-integral-entrando-por-arenales-14234547 ), at the Puente d'o Caxigo (footpath to the Eremita de San Martin) and via Fajana del Ordio (see map sketch at "Sierras de piedra y agua. Barranquismo en Huesca - Parque de la Sierra de Guara - Sierras exteriores" , Enrique Salamero, 2002).

Although the Alcanadre (in summer) has no water at the beginning, this changes as you enter the narrows. The exit over a rock ramp at a sharp left bend of the river is easier to see if you have already entered the Peonera inferiore here.

After the canyon narrows again after a longer widening, it makes a striking left turn after a few hundred meters. Go straight up the cirque (access to the Peonera inferiore) and follow the path, first keeping to the right, later in a long left turn back to the vehicle in the parking lot north of Morano (45 min.). You can also continue along the subsequent Peonera inferiore. There, after the right-hand bend in the following left-hand bend. There is also another exit option on the right up to Morano.
