Zuerst den selben Wanderweg wie zum Einstieg von Mondelli 2 (intermedio) nehmen, bei der Abzweigung beim Schild "Cascata" aber rechts Richtung Alpe Corteveccio weitergehen. Ca. auf Höhe des höchsten Hauses in Corteveccio links halten und auf einem kleinen Pfad die freie Fläche queren. Der Pfad verläuft über einen kleinen, steilen Rücken an Weidevieh vorbei. Eine kurze sumpfige Stelle noch überqueren und bei ca. 1540m ins offene Bachbett des Rio Mondelli einsteigen.

First take the same hiking trail as for the entry to Mondelli 2 (intermedio), but at the fork at the "Cascata" signs, continue right towards Alpe Corteveccio. Approximately at the highest house in Corteveccio, keep left and cross the open area on a small path. The path runs over a small, steep ridge past grazing cattle. Cross a short marshy area and enter the open streambed of the Rio Mondelli at approx. 1540m.

Ziemlich am Anfang ein ca. 50m langer, offener schräger Abseiler am Anfang, bei dem wir keinen Zwischenstand gefunden haben. Einige aquatische Abseiler, eine perfekte Rutsche folgen, bevor man über eine riesige Garnitplatte mit Auswaschungen zum letzten Abseiler kommt, von dem man die Brücke beim Einstieg des Mondelli 2 sieht.

Pretty much at the start, an open diagonal rappel about 50m long at the start, where we didn't find an intermediate belay. A few aquatic rappels and a perfect slide follow before you come to the last rappel via a huge garnit slab with washouts, from which you can see the bridge at the entry of Mondelli 2.

Sehr schöner Abschnitt. Der erste lange Abseiler (2. Abseiler) hat fast 60m. Verankerungen an den Standplätzen bestehen aus Kettengliedern (siehe Fotos). Schauen aber alle noch gut aus (Mutter war manchmal zum Nachziehen) und das Seil (9mm) ließ sich problemlos abziehen. Teilweise wurden sie mit Rapidgliedern ergänzt.

Very nice parts. The first long rappel (2nd rappel) is almost 60m. Anchors at the belays are made of chain links (see photos). But all still look good (nut was sometimes to tighten) and the rope (9mm) was easy to pull off. Some of them have been replaced with rapid links.

Die meisten Stände sind mit Karosseriescheiben angeschraubte kleine Kettenglieder. Schlanke Karabiner und dünne Seile sind von Vorteil. Super griffig und wunderschön.

Most stands are small chain links bolted on with body washers. Slim carabiners and thin ropes are an advantage. Super grippy and beautiful.

In the upper part mainly expl. 8mm with bits of chain, last time we drilled one new, weird to find a few years later still no improvements. One of the first intermediate anchors (2 bolts) left bank is also missing, but can be done in one. The short, steep approach for part I is a good warm-up for the lower parts.

Heute Mondelli 1,2 und 3 begangen. Wie immer einen wunderbare Tour. Speziell im MIttelteil wurden viele Stände erneuert (Kettenständen). Wir kennen die Tour gut und waren zu zweit gut unterwegs. Oberer Teil ca 1 std Mittlerer Teil ca 1 std Unterer Teil ca 2 std Ein must todo wenn man in der Gegend ist

Sehr enge Kettenglieder an 8mm Anker, bei denen Seile > 10mm nicht durchpassen! Ein Ring wurde an einer schwierig abzukletternden Passage eingebohrt. Eine perfekte 10m Rutsche eher zum Schluss.

Very tight chain links on 8mm anchors, where ropes > 10mm do not fit through! A ring was drilled in a passage difficult to climb down. A perfect 10m chute rather at the end.
