Ein durchaus schöner Waldgraben mit Schlussabseiler von gut 90 Metern. Wunderschöner Ausblick, beim 90 Meter Abseiler, bis zum Bodensee. Schöne Schlucht. Wir haben in der Nähe des Ausstiegsparkplatz das eine Auto abgeschtellt, sind dann mit dem zweiten Auto zur Karrenseilbahn. Einfachfahrt mit Bahn 11.90 Euro. Von der Bergstation sind wir via Kühberg auf einem, teils schmalen Weg direkt zum Einstieg gewandert. Vom Einstieg geht es zuerst einbisschen wandernd im Bachbett zum ersten Abseiler. Mit kurzen Rutschen und Abseilern geht es schön Bachabwärts. Nur an einer Stelle viel Schwemmholz drin. Bei der Wegkreuzung gingen wir zuerst ein paar Meter dem Drahtseilvom Wanderweg rechts weiter, dann stiegen wir wieder ins Bachbett ab. Beim hohen Abseiler hat es zwei Stände mit Ketten. Wir sind vom oberen zum untern, ca. 10 Meter abgeseilt. Vom unteren Stand, direkt an der Kante gehts ca. 90 Meter senkrecht runter, teilweise im Wasser. Stände alle io. 2*100 Meter Seil reichen tiptop. Alles in Allem eine schöne kurze Schlucht. Wir haben für die Schlucht knapp 2 Stunden gebraucht.

A beautiful forest canyon with a final abseil of a good 90 meters. Wonderful view, at the 90 meter rappel, all the way to Lake Constance. Beautiful canyon. We parked one car near the parking exit and then took the second car to the Karren cable car. One-way ticket with the cable car 11.90 euros. From the mountain station we hiked via Kühberg on a partly narrow path directly to the entry. From the entry point, we first hiked along the streambed to the first rappel. With short slides and rappels, it goes nicely downstream. Only one place with a lot of driftwood. At the crossroads, we first walked a few meters along the wire rope from the hiking trail to the right, then descended back into the streambed. At the high rappel there are two stands with chains. We rappelled from the upper to the lower one, about 10 meters. From the lower stand, directly at the edge, we descended about 90 meters vertically, partly in the water. Stands all ok. 2*100 meters of ropes are enough. All in all a nice short canyon. We needed just under 2 hours for the canyon.

Sind nach dem Müselbach in ungefähr Mitte der Schlucht eingestiegen. Alles ok. Manche Sprünge waren noch zugekiest, also mit Vorsicht zu genießen.

Got in after the Müselbach in about the middle of the canyon. Everything was ok. Some of the jumps were still covered in gravel, so be careful.

Beim beschriebenen Felssturz vom 15.7.23 kann man ganz links runterklettern. kein Problem. Abseiler und Laufpassagen wechseln sich ab. Alles in Allem eine hübsche Schlucht im Bregenzerwald

All stands io. No. 9 already quite rusty but io. Some stands equipped with chains. Extremely slippery in the water on rocks, on gravel it works. At the described rockfall of 15.7.23 you can climb down on the far left. no problem. Rappels and walking passages alternate. All in all, a beautiful canyon in the Bregenzerwald

Alle drei Abschnitte gemacht. Schön griffig und alle Stände io. Springen kann man nirgens da alles recht vollgekiest.

Bei 1,8 m3 eher hoher Wasserstand. Im unteren Teil ein Holzverhau mit rotem Fixseil, das recht hilfreich war. Danke dafür! Sonst alles gut, sehr schön!

Rather high water level at 1.8 m3. In the lower part a wooden shack with red fixed ropes, which was quite helpful. Thanks for that! Otherwise all good, very nice!

Sprung beim ersten Abseiler aktuell nicht machbar, Pool nach Hochwasser zugekiest. Ein Seilgeländer wurde weggerissen, konnten mit Totholz improvisieren, siehe Foto. Bei weniger Wasser geht’s vermutlich auch ohne. Sonst alles ok aber man sieht die Spuren vom Hochwasser und viel Kies in der Schlucht.

Jump at the first rappel currently not feasible, pool gravelled over after flooding. A rope traverse was torn away, we were able to improvise with dead wood, see photo. With less water it will probably be possible without. Otherwise everything is ok but you can see the tracks from the flood and a lot of gravel in the canyon.

Nach Hochwasser viel Kies und ordentlich Durchsatz. Aber war trotzdem gut machbar. Im mittleren Teil Stände ok.

Einstieg beim Parkplatz auf 1150Hm. Vom Gasthaus zu Fuss in 1h erreichbar. Alle Standplätze mehrmals vorhanden. Trotzdem gut schauen, teilweise sind neue Kettenstände ausgerissen. Der letzte Teil ab Ausstieg 5 wird wohl öfters komerziell begangen. Leider immer noch etwas rutschig.

Entry at the parking lot at 1150Hm. Reachable on foot from the inn in 1 hour. All belays are available several times. Nevertheless, take a good look, some new chain anchors have been torn out. The last part from exit 5 is probably often used commercially. Unfortunately still a bit slippery.

Einstieg über versperrtes Gatter problemlos. Zur Zeit glasklares, sauberes Wasser und erstaunlich griffig zum gehen. Alle Stände i.O. Meistens nagelneu. Am Schlusswasserfall viel Touristen mit SUP oder Kajaks...

Easy entry via a locked gate. The water is currently crystal clear, clean and surprisingly easy to walk on. All stands in good condition. Mostly brand new. At the final waterfall lots of tourists with SUP or kayaks...

Schöne Schlucht mit Wasserdurchsatz. Alle Installationen in Ordnung. Sind den ersten hohen Wasserfall nicht im Strahl abgeseilt. Einige Abseiler könnten bei viel Wasser gefährlich werden. Teilweise rutschig.

Alle notwendigen Haken vorhanden. Im oberen Teil etwas verrostet. Unterer Teil der kommerziell begangen wird ist perfekt ausgestattet. Gemeinde Amden hat im Bereich des Fallenbach und Rombach eine zeitlich beschränkte Wildruhezone bis zum 01.07 eingeführt. Ebenso ist ein Hinweisschild inkl. Kameras am Stausee aufgestellt worden. Wer beim durchschwimmen erwischt wird hat mit empfindlichen Geldbussen zu rechnen. Eine Genehmigung zur Begehung hat das ortsansässige Canyoning Unternehmen.

All necessary hooks present. In the upper part a little rusty. Lower part which is commercially walked is perfectly equipped. Municipality Amden has introduced in the area of the Fallenbach and Rombach a time-limited game rest zone until 01.07. Also a sign incl. cameras has been set up at the reservoir. Who is caught with swimming through has to reckon with sensitive fines. The local canyoning company has a permit to enter the area.

Einstieg bei ca.850Hm wo der Weg nach der Wiese zum Bach führt. Der Durchfluss war kräftig, aber noch überschaubar. Die kurzen Abseiler sind teilweise im Strahl. Alle Ringhaken sind vorhanden und in gutem Zustand. Leider war es ziemlich rutschig auf diesem Sandstein.
