Autobahn Chur-Zürich bei Ausfahrt Weesen (Nr. 45) am westlichen Ende des Walensees in Richtung Amden verlassen und hinauffahren in Richtung Amden. Die Straße zieht am Fels entlang aufwärts. An der nächsten Linkskehre das erste Auto auf dem Parkplatz abstellen (9,6 km ab Autobahn). Mit dem zweiten Fahrzeug weiter hinauf nach Amden bis zur Fallenbach-Brücke am Ende der Ortschaft (weitere 2,7 km).

Leave the Chur-Zurich highway at the Weesen exit (no. 45) at the western exit of Lake Walen in the direction of Amden and drive up towards Amden. The road climbs along the rock. At the next leftward haipin bend, park the first car in the parking lot (9.6 km from the freeway). Continue with the second car up to Amden as far as the Fallenbach bridge at the exit of the village (another 2.7 km).

Diesen durchschwimmen sobald wie möglich rechts hinaus. An der Staumauer ist mit Sogwirkung zu rechnen. Vorsicht ist geboten! Seit 2012 ist das durchschwimmen des Stausees untersagt. Eine Genehmigung kann für 1000,- Franken inkl. Instruierung erworben werden. Ohne Genehmigung ist eine Buße fällig.

Super schön, klares Wasser wie selten. Holzchaos hat sich nach unten, kurz vor den hohen Abseiler verschoben. Rest nur leicht rutschig und alles spring- und rutschbar.

Alle notwendigen Haken vorhanden. Im oberen Teil etwas verrostet. Unterer Teil der kommerziell begangen wird ist perfekt ausgestattet. Gemeinde Amden hat im Bereich des Fallenbach und Rombach eine zeitlich beschränkte Wildruhezone bis zum 01.07 eingeführt. Ebenso ist ein Hinweisschild inkl. Kameras am Stausee aufgestellt worden. Wer beim durchschwimmen erwischt wird hat mit empfindlichen Geldbussen zu rechnen. Eine Genehmigung zur Begehung hat das ortsansässige Canyoning Unternehmen.

All necessary hooks present. In the upper part a little rusty. Lower part which is commercially walked is perfectly equipped. Municipality Amden has introduced in the area of the Fallenbach and Rombach a time-limited game rest zone until 01.07. Also a sign incl. cameras has been set up at the reservoir. Who is caught with swimming through has to reckon with sensitive fines. The local canyoning company has a permit to enter the area.
