Nur ein 40m Wasserfall der sehr Eindruckssvoll ist. Viel Schwimmen, Blockklettern und einige Sprünge, jedoch in einem sensationellen Ambiente. Die Schlucht idealerweise Mittags bei wolkenlos Himmel betreten, dann kann man die wunderbaren Farbenspiele besonders genießen.
Just a 40m waterfall that is very impressive. Lots of swimming, block climbing and a few jumps, but in a sensational setting. Ideally, enter the canyon at midday when there are no clouds, when you can enjoy the wonderful play of colors.

Sind den Bach heute bei sehr sportlichen Bedingungen begangen. Einige Haken sind ziemlich mitgenommen und auch das Schlingenmaterial ist teilweise zu erneuern. Leider haben wir nichts zum Bohren mit auf Urlaub genommen und auch schlingenmäßig konnten wir nur einen Stand erneuern. Wasserkontrollbild stammt von der Brücke oben über die man drüber fährt. Achtung es kommt jedoch nochmal mindestens das doppelte im Canyon dazu! Ansonsten ein Traumcanyon, eng eingeschnitten viel zu springen und underbare Lichtspiele. ABER bei dem Wasserstand etwas für sportliche fortgeschrittene Canyonauten, die Wassergefahren kennen und auch die sportlichen Skills haben diese zu managen.
Climbed the stream today in very sporty conditions. Some of the anchors are quite worn and some of the sling material needs to be replaced. Unfortunately, we didn't take anything to drill with us on vacation and we were only able to renew one stand in terms of slings. The water control picture is from the bridge at the top that you drive over. But beware, there is at least twice as much in the canyon! Otherwise a dream canyon, tightly cut, lots of jumping and amazing light shows. BUT at the water level it is something for sporty advanced canyoneers who know water hazards and also have the sporting skills to manage them.

Sind heute den Yazir begangen. Leider war die Schlucht trocken, bis auf ein paar Gumpen. Trotzdem eine absolut sehenswerte Schlucht idealerweise nach Regenfällen oder im Frühjahr. Hatten leider kein Bohrzeug mit, somit wäre sicher gut, wenn der/die nächste was mit hätte vor allem wenn wasser drinnen ist.
Walked the Yazir today. Unfortunately the canyon was dry, except for a few pools. Nevertheless, a canyon absolutely worth seeing, ideally after rainfall or in spring. Unfortunately we didn't have any drilling equipment with us, so it would certainly be good if the next person had something with them, especially if there was water inside.

Verankerung besteht meistens nur aus versinterten Seilen. Nach dem ersten Abseiler unbedingt 15m bis zum nächsten Stand (Baumschlinge links) gehen und nicht in einem durch, weil durch sehr hohe Seilreibung es sonst zu Abzugproblemen kommen kann ( das ist der Gruppe vor uns passiert, ohne unsere Hilfe hätten sie das Seil nicht abziehen können). Eher Dchungeltour mit 4 Abseilern, 2 davon ca 50m. Gut zu kombinieren mit Sarpdere. Nur dür diesen Canyon alleine braucht man nicht hinfahren. Schöner Strand mit Bar beim Ausstieg. Man kann vom Strand nur mit Boot wegkommen, das 500 türkische Lira kostet.
Anchoring consists mostly of sintered ropes. After the first rappel, make sure you walk 15m to the next belay (tree sling on the left) and don't go through in one go, otherwise very high rope friction can lead to problems pulling off (this happened to the group in front of us, without our help they wouldn't have been able to pull off the rope). Rather a jungle tour with 4 rappels, 2 of them about 50m. Good to combine with Sarpdere. You don't need to go to this canyon alone. Nice beach with bar at the exit. You can only get away from the beach by boat, which costs 500 Turkish lira.

Alle Stände ok, Ich bin kein Freund von Trockencanyons, deswegen nur 2,5. Hat aber sehr schöne Stellen. Also für Canyonauten, die mit Wasserlosigkeit kein Problem haben sicher mehr als 2,5 Sterne.
All stands ok, I am not a friend of dry canyons, therefore only 2.5, but has very nice spots. So for canyoneers who have no problem with waterlessness, certainly more than 2.5 stars.

Leider sehr lange Gehstrecke für wenig Canyon. Zwar in einer schönen Umgebung aber dennoch eher ein wandercanyon mit einigen Sprungmöglichkeiten. Wir hhaben kein einziges Mal ein Seil benötigt, sondern sind alles gesprungen, dennoch Seil mitnehmen, weil bei niedrigerem Wasserstand einige Sprünge nicht möglich wären. Ich habe einen weiteren Parkpoint hinzugefügt, der näher am Einstieg ist, dann erspart man sich ca 2km gehen ndem man relativ unkompliziert die Schotterstraße runter fährt.
Unfortunately very long walking passages for a small canyon. Although in a beautiful setting, it is still more of a hiking canyon with a few possible jumps. We didn't need a rope once, but jumped everything, but still take a rope with you, because some jumps would not be possible at lower water levels. I added another park point closer to the entry point, which saves you about 2km of walking and makes it relatively easy to drive down the gravel road.

Leider richtig viele und eklige Kadaver im Chiantone. Schafe, Kühe, Schwein und Reh geben sich momentan ein Stelldichein.... Ansonsten war der Canyon top wenn es einen bei so viel totem Getier nicht ekelt 😉 Alle Stände sind tip top
Unfortunately, there are a lot of disgusting carcasses in Chiantone. Sheep, cows, pigs and deer are currently having a rendezvous.... Otherwise the canyon was great if you're not disgusted by so many dead animals 😉 All the stalls are tip top

Echt richtig schön in diesem Jahr weil sie vom Kraftwerk das Wasser rein lassen. Teilweise durchaus sportlicher Wasserstand und tendenziell nichts für Anfänger. Alle Stände tip top

Bach war heute schon durchaus kühler. Zu diesem Zeitpunkt kommt nur noch im oberen Teil kurz die Sonne über den Kamm. Im Wasser ist er sehr rutschig gewesen und außerhalb waren die Steine mit feuchten Eis überfroren. Also eine schöne Rutschparty. 😉 Haben ein paar Ringe gesetzt an den Stellen wo die alten schon wirklich nicht mehr gut ausgesehen haben und einige Fixseile getauscht. Ein beeindruckender canyon, leider wie gesagt diesmal mit wenig Licht.
Bach was already cooler today. At this point, the sun only briefly comes over the ridge in the upper part. It was very slippery in the water and the stones outside were frozen over with wet ice. So it was a nice sliding party 😉 We placed a few rings in places where the old ones really didn't look good anymore and replaced some fixed ropes. An impressive canyon, unfortunately with little light this time.

Bis auf die installierten Fixseile, alles tip top. Diese sollten erneuert werden bzw. selbst einbauen. Einzigartige Schlucht. Siphon muss durch getaucht werden.
Except for the installed fixed ropes, everything is tip top. These should be renewed or you should install them yourself. Unique canyon. Siphon must be dipped through.

Alles tip top. Aktuell etwas mehr Wasser. Viele Sprünge möglich, teilweise wiederholbar. Achtung auf versteckte Siphone bzw. gut schauen, bevor man wo reingeht. Mit etwas Erfahrung alles kein Problem. Tolle Einzelstellen, aber auch viel zu gehen. Wer hier eine klassische Canyoningtour erwartet, wird wohl enttäuscht sein. Wir sind bei der Steinbrücke ausgestiegen.
Everything is tip top. Currently a little more water. Many jumps possible, some repeatable. Watch out for hidden siphons or look carefully before you go in. No problem with a little experience. Great individual sections, but also a lot of walking. Anyone expecting a classic canyoning tour here will probably be disappointed. We got out at the stone bridge.

Schöner Wasserstand, die letzten drei Abseilstellen sind in einem sehr desolaten Zustand und sollten unbedingt erneuert werden.
