Valmala sopra/sotto, sempre verso sinistra su nel bosco fino a un dosso in piano; da lì scendere dalla parte opposta fino al torrente. Bel trekking fluviale con tuffone finale... Se si tuffa non serve la corda

Valmala above/below, still heading left up into the woods to a level bump; from there go down the other side to the creek. Nice river trek with final plunge.... If you dive you don't need a rope

Abbiamo dormito la notte prima al bivacco Alpe Toso (più in alto del canyon) che è molto ben fornito, la mattina siamo scesi nel canyon dove la sterrata attraversa il Sorba; il primo tratto è molto aperto... C'è una cascata non attrezzata che noi abbiamo aggirato uscendo un'attimo... In corrispondenza di un ponte si trova un bel toboga e da lì è molto più bello fino in fondo, ci sono un paio di pozze spettacolari... Certo il percorso è breve e l'avvicinamento lungo; se lo si vuole fare conviene abbinarlo a qualche altra attività nella valle. Tutto a singoli con piastrina e anello/ maglia rapida

We slept the night before at the Alpe Toso bivouac (higher up the canyon) which is very well stocked.In the morning we descended into the canyon where the dirt road crosses the Sorba; the first section is very open... There is an unequipped waterfall that we bypassed by getting out for a moment.... At a bridge there is a nice slide and from there it is much nicer all the way down; there are a couple of spectacular pools... Of course the trail is short and the approach long; if you want to do it you'd better combine it with some other activity in the valley. All to singles with tag and ring/quick link

Siamo entrati un po' prima del punto indicato perché la strada sterrata sopra è sbarrata e stanno facendo dei lavori con ruspe. La prima parte del canyon ha piccole calate in un ambiente abbastanza aperto, un lungo e violento toboga. Poi si arriva a una bella cascata nel vuoto di circa 20 metri, due toboga con bellissime pozze, un bel tratto lungo di cammino e la fantastica sequenza finale delle cascate del Tinaccio. Alcuni passaggi sono veramente bellissimi, l'unico problema è la discontinuità del percorso. Comunque bello, V4A4III per le condizioni in cui siamo scesi.

We entered a little earlier than the indicated point because the dirt road above is barred and they are doing some work with bulldozers. The first part of the canyon has small rappels in a fairly open environment, a long, violent toboga. Then you get to a nice waterfall in the void of about 20 meters, two toboggans with beautiful pools, a nice long walk and the fantastic final sequence of Tinaccio Falls. Some passages are really beautiful, the only problem is the discontinuity of the path. Still nice, V4A4III for the conditions we descended.

Canyon semplice e soleggiato, ambiente molto aperto... In questo periodo quasi secco e scivoloso però ha delle calate esteticamente interessanti soprattutto nella prima parte e alla fine... Non è facile trovare il sentiero da Piana Bianca in poi

Buona portata anche a fine agosto, direi anche V4A4 come difficoltà calcolando le calate sotto flusso. L'ultima calata ha l'armo molto danneggiato, ci siamo fidati ma è assolutamente da sostituire. Unica pecca la camminata tra due sezioni inforrate, forse è più divertente percorrere solo la parte inferiore.

Good flow also at the end of August, I would say even V4A4 as difficulty calculating the rappels under flow. The last rappel has a very damaged limb, we trusted but it is definitely in need of replacement. Only flaw is the walk between two forked sections, maybe it is more fun to walk only the lower part.
