Von Bellinzona oder vom Gotthardpass kommend nach Biasca. Von dort auf der in Richtung Gotthard rechts von der Autobahn verlaufenden Landstrasse bis nach Bodio. In Bodio links abbiegen nach Personico. Die Autobahn unterqueren, dann auf der Dorfstrasse durch Personico durch, wieder in Richtung Biasca fahrend aus dem Ort raus, nach ca. 300 m an einem rechts liegenden Grotto vorbei. Kurz nach einer links gelegenen Werkstatt überquert die Strasse den Bach. Dort ein Auto abstellen. Mit dem zweiten Fahrzeug zurück nach Personico und im Ort nach einer markanten 90° Rechtskurve mit gleich darauffolgender Linkskurve zwischen diesen beiden Kurven spitzwinklig rückwärtig nach links hoch abbiegen. Auf dieser Fahrstrasse hoch bis zum Stausee.
